"Positives: Excellent location with easy access to the city centre and West Bay area. The pool is decent and great for cooling down. Were told as rooms were booked through Trip so they are on different floors? Totally silly and unreasonable excuse. They eventually managed to find connected rooms.
Negatives: Housekeeping is very basic, and the interior feels dated. If you're staying in one of the rooms with large windows, be aware that the air conditioning struggles to keep the room cool, as it gets a lot of direct sunlight and can become quite hot. Shower head and loo's lever broken and leaking. I also wouldn't classify the services as being at a true 5-star level. Also only valet parking so be prepared to wait during the rush hour. No sign boards posted for car access from the rear so it was a bit of a struggle to find our way in."
"It was the best staying in whole trip to Middle East. Everyone from the staff was so helpful, kind, and polite. I wish I asked for their names personally, but actually everyone was great.
The cookies are the best :) the cleanness, the noise isolation, the location. This hotel is perfect"
"Service at nearly every service point from security to front desk was incredibly unhurried even when there was no one in line.
Also waited 1.5 hours at 5am for housekeeping to install and reinstall again (because the first install covered only 70% the window) blackout curtains that were at every other window panel except the one right next to the bed. Light still ended up shining directly on my face even after the 2nd install because the velcro that was supposed to fix the blackout curtain to the side wall was not installed.
Toilet and tissue paper wasn’t replenished and I was on my period without any paper in the room. When the manager offered to send his compliments as an apology it just meant a bag of toilet rolls was left outside the door.
Lounge access was not quite worth paying for as the food was pretty dismal, unless you’re just wanting beverages at odd times of the day, which was useful for me."
"Luxury at its best! Nice pool! House keeping gave everything fresh everyday! Water everyday! The breakfast buffet was also worth it! The best part is the king size bed and pillows so comfortable. The bath tub was so relaxing for a hot bath! The bathroom shower does not leak any water when showering like other hotels do! Such a well made hotel! I was not feeling good and extended my stay and they automatically extended it without bothering me and let me take care of it way later in the day! Amazing service! So clean and looks beautiful! The carpets need a little deep cleaning though they are light colored so you can tell it’s dirty but other than that everything was great!"
"We stayed at Abesq Hotel in Doha as a couple and had a really pleasant experience overall. The hotel feels modern and relaxed, and everything was clean and well taken care of. What we enjoyed the most was the spa area — the sauna was excellent and a perfect way to unwind after a long day out. It felt calm, well maintained, and not overcrowded at all.
The atmosphere of the hotel is comfortable without trying too hard, and it worked really well for a couple’s trip. Staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. We’d definitely consider staying here again, especially for the spa and wellness facilities."
"From the moment I arrived, the service at Raffles Doha was absolutely exceptional. Every single detail is handled with precision and warmth. Wesley (F&B), Henrique (Guest Service), and Zane (Front Desk) went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly define world-class hospitality.
The entire staff embodies what luxury service should be: intuitive, genuine, and seamless. The atmosphere, design, and overall experience are out of this world. I’ve stayed in some of the best hotels globally, but Raffles Doha sets a new standard.
I cannot recommend it highly enough, an unforgettable stay that redefines excellence."
