Throughout our trip, staff pre-empted our needs as a family and politely offered assistance. The housekeeping staff were especially sweet and kind towards my children, and the golf cart drivers made good friends with us. The ladies' gym is exceptionally outstanding. Powder Room is a fantastic highlight. Everything was arranged with sensitivity to privacy for modest ladies.' Welcome to Qatar message was lovely. We hope to have our next big family reunion here in future.
One thing that did not meet our expectations was a personalised welcome for the children. On our last trip, we did find messages and activities prepared for them in the room upon our arrival. I am not sure the hotel has considered personalised Welcomes for older children or teenagers. I would appreciate seeing this done in future.
Also, some guests appeared to be dressed in underwear on the private beach. More attention to modesty would be a good way forward for an iconic hotel in a Muslim country.

The staff were welcoming and professional, the rooms wee spacious and clean with beautiful views, and the facilities, from the pool to the beach to the gym wee top-notch. Dining was a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, a perfect mic of comfort, luxury, and great service. Highly recommended!

Wir sind bereits um 12:00 Uhr angekommen, obwohl der reguläre Check-in erst um 15:00 Uhr war, und konnten trotzdem sofort unser Zimmer beziehen.
In Doha ist dieses Hotel mein absoluter Favorit! Das Frühstück ist top, und die Mitarbeiter am Strand sind äußerst freundlich und – für mich besonders wichtig – sehr respektvoll. Hier fühlt man sich rundum willkommen, und ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!.
SSafiZRight after our arrival to this hotel we were expecting multiple problems. Customer manager was trying to do her best to make our mood better with complimentary gestures, and after I complained I saw the improvement but still this hotel needs proper stuff training and communication improvements. Neither one day I received any room amenities (teeth brush, vanity kit etc) , for every single and simple thing you gotta ask. And then it’s very slow to execute things. Food at main restaurant fresh but tasteless, we tried one of alacart restaurant on lobby floor but again food was missing flavors. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone who use to stay in five star hotels , because you will feel exhausted to communicate about your needs. That’s a pitty, because property is beautiful, beach is nice, workers are postive and have a smiley face. Just whole lack of management doesn’t make holidays here enjoyable

More variety for breakfast (some fresh meat and fresh seafood, not factory processed meat eg sliced ham/chicken sausages/chicken nuggets) will be an extra plus, but current selection, nevertheless, is sufficient.
I had even extended my stay by 5 nights. Well done Hotel Retaj Al Rayyan.
