"Highly recommend this hotel especially if it’s your first time in Boracay as it is right at the center of DMall, Station 2–very convenient and fun location. The room was spacious, clean, and comfy; staff were polite and accommodating; and breakfast buffet spread was decent. Also appreciated that they offer free drying services so you won’t have to bring home wet clothes."
"We recently stayed at Lime Resort Boracay and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. While the location is good and the amenities are decent, that’s where the positives end.
The service was poor, staff were not very responsive or accommodating, which already affected our stay. On top of that, the room clearly needs renovation. It felt outdated and not well-maintained, which was far from what I expected.
The breakfast was also a big letdown and definitely needs improvement. The quality and selection were disappointing, and overall it did not feel worth it.
Overall, this place has potential because of its location and facilities, but with the current condition of the rooms, poor service, and underwhelming breakfast, I wouldn’t consider it a satisfying stay."
"Stayed here for 2 nights as a solo traveller. To be fair they assigned me a room from the Main Wing as I requested. I got a spacious room with 2 single beds, cable TV, working AC, mini fridge. The Room itself is clean. The bed and pillows are comfy and do not smell. Not enough cabinets though or place to hang your clean clothes.
Safety features like smoke detectors, sprinklers, double locks, safety vault, emergency exits are there.
Included breakfast is filling. No restrictions as to how much you can get so if you are the kind who likes big breakfast then you will enjoy it.
The bathroom is a separate beast altogether and this is where they need to improve on if they want to get repeat guests. Toilet and bidet works. The sink is just fine - no hot/cold faucet. I don't think the shower had a working heater (?) But what took away what could have been a perfect experience was the smell of molding (perhaps in the grout between the tiles?) The odor was just too notable when you open the door to the bathroom and I have allergic rhinitis that can be easily triggered by things like this. To be fair, they did try to spray it with air freshner when I raised it to frontdesk. IF by some chance other newer guests can attest that this has been resolved then I might consider booking again at La Carmela. Now for those na hindi gaanong maarte sa CR, maybe just bring a diffuser or a small Lysol if ever you book this place. It is a cheaper option for a beachfront property but I really hope that mold/kulob odor in the bathroom gets fixed.
LCDB staff are nice and helpful. It's probably one of the saving graces of the property."
"I would like to express my gratitude to the entire hotel team, my stay at the hotel was very comfortable!
The hotel itself is completely new, everything is done stylishly and tastefully and with care for the guests.
I liked the location, because it is close to the beach and away from the noisy places.
It is worth noting that the hotel is located on a small hill, the road is uphill, but it was not difficult for me to go there.
The cleaning came regularly, I did not even need it that often.
All the towels and sheets are snow-white and new. They even have new slippers for the beach ,that was cute.
The staff themselves were very polite and kind, I was especially touched that when I got poisoned from the food i ate at the beach restaurant they helped me with an ambulance and separately prepared dietary breakfasts for me.
Thank you very much for this!
I think that the hotel and the team deserve the highest reviews!"
"We stayed in the Garden with Pool room for 4 nights. The room was spacious and comfortable, though the fact that the room is on the ground floor might make it slightly more prone to noise/disturbance as it was right next to the hotel's main pool and on the same level as the restaurants. The toilet does seem to be a little worn down. Breakfast spread is decent, however food quality can definitely be improved. Hotel is located at the end of the beach stretch so it takes about 20minutes walk to Station 2 where most of the shops/restaurants are located. The pay-off is that the beach right in front of the hotel is definitely quieter. Hotel does provide shuttle to Station 2 though, for those who prefer not to walk. Round trip transfers to and fro the airport were well coordinated. "
