Review of Casa Faraona Luxury Residences, Madrid I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Faraona Luxury Residences in Madrid, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance and comfort that truly set the tone for our stay. Incredible Room Experience The room we stayed in was nothing short of spectacular. Every detail was meticulously crafted, exhibiting a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The bed was heavenly, adorned with silky sheets that made it feel like a dream. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the vibrant city. Exceptional Service The service at Casa Faraona was outstanding. The staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive, and eager to ensure our stay was perfect. They went above and beyond to cater to our needs, making us feel like valued guests every step of the way. Delicious Breakfast and Free Cocktails One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful spread that catered to every taste, from fresh pastries to hearty options. Additionally, the complimentary cocktails were a lovely touch, allowing us to unwind and enjoy the ambiance of the residence. Prime Location The location of Casa Faraona Luxury Residences couldn’t be better. Nestled in the heart of Madrid, it provided easy access to some of the city’s top attractions, dining, and shopping. We loved being able to explore the vibrant streets and return to our luxurious oasis at the end of the day. In conclusion, Casa Faraona Luxury Residences exceeded all our expectations. With its stunning rooms, impeccable service, delicious breakfast, complimentary cocktails, and prime location, it offers an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return and make more wonderful memories in this beautiful hotel!

The hotel is nicely located, you can access the heart of the city by foot quite easily. Other than that, I felt like it was way overrated. The bed is large and comfortable but the room is small, the bathroom is like a leaking closet, there is a tiny window with views over the reception and the bar area which means you have absolutely no privacy if the black curtains are not closed. You hear the plumbing very loudly every time someone is using the flush in their room and you hear everything that is happening in the doorway. The electric plugs are out of their socket, the thing to hang your wet towels are broken and falling down every time you're putting your towel. For a 150€/night room, it felt like a scam as everything is very cheap quality. The worst part was the breakfast. 23€ if you pay the same day, 19,50€ if you book the day before. Guys, it's not worth your money ! It's ultra cheap quality. Something you can expect when you pay 10€ but definitely not more than 20€ ! You cannot even order freshly made eggs. It's all industrial products, very low quality and quite frankly not good (the fried potatoes are horrible). No fresh fruit juice, cold cuts are a disgrace for Spain. Nice gym. Small but well equipped. I haven't seen the pool. So yes the hotel looks good from the outside and the inside but I'm expecting they attract people with that, selling themselves as a hip and cool place but charging you way more than the low quality of what they are truly selling. I will not come back for this price.

โรงแรมตั้งอยู่ใกล้กับรถไฟใต้ดินทำให้การคมนาคมสะดวก อาหารเช้าของโรงแรมมีหลากหลายเมนูโดยเฉพาะผลไม้หลากหลายและรสชาติอร่อย ห้องพักในโรงแรมใหญ่กว่าที่คาดไว้ ซึ่งดี และกันเสียงได้ดี ดังนั้นเสียงรบกวนจากภายนอกจึงน้อยมาก นอกจากนี้ โรงแรมยังตั้งอยู่นอกสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวใจกลางกรุงมาดริดเล็กน้อย แต่ก็ถือว่าโอเคเพราะสามารถเดินถึงได้

Love the theater theme throughout the hotel. The spiral staircase is a work of art, and the overall atmosphere is very sophisticated and chic. It really stands out from standard chain hotels. On the location: Perfectly situated on Gran Vía! I was able to walk to almost everything. Near Callao, Sol, and the Royal Palace are just minutes away. The reception staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful, which made the stay even better. Many thanks to Roberto and Patricia at the front desk for their exceptional service. Roberto was incredibly helpful with recommendations and arranging luggage storage while I continued my trip to Morocco. Patricia’s warm personality, efficiency, and attention to detail truly stood out from organizing my wake-up call to advising on the best route to the airport to avoid morning traffic. Always kind and smiling, she really makes you feel at home. Lastly, a big thank you to the lady for arranging help with my two large pieces of luggage, and to another gentleman at reception who made my check-out seamless. I forgot their names. But I highly recommend this hotel not only for its excellent location, but also for its stylish art deco and theater-themed rooms, which I find very stylish and defo a nice break from the standard and generic hotel decor standards. Especially the staffs who truly make me feel at home.. Thank you!

ห้องพักค่อนข้างสะดวกสบาย กว้างขวาง และสว่างไสวเมื่อเทียบกับราคาในยุโรป ตั้งอยู่ติดกับสถานีรถไฟ Atocha ทำให้เดินทางสะดวก – สามารถเดินได้ มีรถประจำทาง รถไฟ และรถไฟฟ้าใต้ดินอยู่ใกล้ๆ เป็นห้องเตียงคู่ในโฮสเทล คล้ายกับห้องพักโรงแรมทั่วไป การตกแต่งค่อนข้างใหม่และสะอาดมาก แม้ว่าจะมีคราบเปื้อนบนผ้าปูที่นอนบ้าง สำหรับการเข้าพักต่อเนื่อง ควรขอผ้าเช็ดตัวใหม่จากแผนกต้อนรับเอง ข้อเสียอย่างเดียวคือการเก็บเสียงไม่ดี กลุ่มวัยรุ่นข้างห้องกลับมาเสียงดังมากตอนเที่ยงคืน และคุณจะได้ยินเสียงพวกเขาคุยกันในทางเดินอย่างชัดเจน การเก็บเสียงยังแย่มากจากถนนใหญ่ด้านนอกที่มีเสียงไซเรนรถพยาบาล หน้าต่างเก็บเสียงได้ แต่ผนังไม่เก็บเสียง… ข้อเสียอีกอย่างคืออาหารเช้าค่อนข้างน้อย แต่ก็เป็นเรื่องปกติในยุโรป ควรออกไปทานบรันช์ข้างนอกแทนจะดีกว่า

The location is convenient. The staff are friendly I like the public area on the ground floor, if there could be more charging place would be nice. However, only 2 bathroom for 12 people is not enough. One of the bathroom only have cold water and the sink is outside the toilet. I think it is a fair option for such a price in the city, still there is an improvement. If you are a solo traveller that need a short stay, it is an acceptable choice.

Great location, but one night it was ever loud with people partying. We asked the reception to help us, and the noise actually got better. The rooms are in need of modernization for this amount of money in my opinion. Her had a cleaning lady come every day, thank you for this! Cute balcony with a city view.

ทําเลที่ตั้งสะดวกมาก ใกล้สถานีรถไฟ Atocha ขยายไปทุกทิศทาง ห้องพักสะอาด  เป็นระเบียบ แผนกต้อนรับบอกว่าคุณสามารถอัพเกรดห้องที่ใหญ่ขึ้นได้หากเพิ่มเงินเล็กน้อย แต่ห้องมีเสียงดังกว่าถนน แชมพู ยาสีฟันก็คุณภาพสูงมาก แรงดันน้ําเพียงพอ แผนกต้อนรับสุภาพมาก และอาหารเช้าก็ดี แบรนด์ Hardrock รับประกัน แปลกที่จะมีไฟฟ้าไม่เพียงพอของอาคารจะจํากัดและเครื่องลดน้ําขึ้นเครื่องไม่สามารถทํางานได้แต่มันไม่ใหญ่สําหรับเรา

This review is not about the €9 breakfast charge. I paid for the breakfast because I had eaten it. This review is about how I was treated afterwards. A simple misunderstanding over breakfast escalated into one of the most unprofessional hotel experiences I have ever had. After I politely suggested that the hotel communicate its breakfast policy more clearly to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future, a staff member, Yansel, began shouting at me from outside the hotel, called me back inside, repeatedly accused me of “trying to play with him,” raised his voice throughout the interaction, claimed that he was the manager, refused my request to speak with the General Manager, and aggressively handled my personal belongings. He pushed and kicked my luggage towards the exit, damaged my bags, repeatedly shouted at me to take my belongings and leave, and I also felt mocked while trying to communicate in English instead of being treated with patience and professionalism. As a solo female traveller, I found this behaviour intimidating and completely unacceptable. Guests should be able to raise feedback respectfully without being shouted at, aggressively confronted, or having their belongings handled in this manner. I later spoke with Raul, who was professional, apologised for the way I had been treated, acknowledged that there had been been a misunderstanding regarding the breakfast, confirmed that I was entitled to leave my luggage after check-out, and informed me that Yansel was not the General Manager or the manager. I appreciate Raul’s professionalism. However, that does not change what happened. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at Hotel Mayerling Madrid. There are many hotels in Madrid where guests can expect to be treated with professionalism and respect. In my experience, this was not one of them. As a solo female traveller, I did not feel safe after the way this situation was handled. For that reason, I cannot recommend this hotel and would encourage other travellers to consider alternative accommodation.

We came to the apartment at 3pm (check in time) and found out that a cleaner was still in the mid-way of cleaning. We talked to reception who immediately sent one more cleaner to help and said the apartment would he ready in 10 mins. We got into the apartment like 20 mins later and felt like that the floor might not have been mopped. I stayed there for 5 nights and found that the sole of my slippers were blackened, which always left dirty slipper print in washroom after shower. We had stayed in a 2 bedrooms 2 washrooms apartment. The furnishing however was very strange. While the master bedroom was equipped with 2 single beds placed together, the other small bedroom with only sliding door was with a double bed! My friend stayed in a 2 bedrooms 1 washroom apartment got a much better configuration which is a normal double bedroom and a twin room (as advised in website). Besides, the living room was a bit dark. On the whole, the stay was still fairly satisfactory. Reception staff was polite, helpful and efficient. Provision of basic cooking essentials including oil was good. Stuff in cleaning kit and toilet paper however was inadequate for a long stay. We needed to go to reception (opens only 0900-1700) to get additional supplies. Wish the cleaner would stock the place according to stay duration of the guests. The apartment is situated in a very convenient location. 5 mins to Metro Palos de la Frontera, 10 mins to Atocha train station, 2 mins to Carrefour Express, 7 mins to Lidl supermarket. There is also another big supermarket Dia nearby. Above all, the building provides free luggage storage facilities in 3,4 & 5 floors. You need €1 to operate the locker but you can it back when returning the key. That’s real convenient.
