My stay at Luming Valley Hotspring Holidays B&B exceeded every expectation from the moment we drove up the hill. My husband and I stayed in the Mountainscape Terrace Mountain View Suite, which genuinely felt like a 5‑star hotel room. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, and equipped with an incredibly comfortable bed, a fully stocked mini fridge, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The smart controls operated by “Xiao Bao” were a fun and convenient touch. We were completely blown away and honestly wished we could have stayed in the room forever. Even before our arrival, the staff communicated with us via WeChat to ensure everything went smoothly. We were able to speak with an English‑speaking staff member who took care of every detail for us—booking the hot springs, arranging breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea, and even offering to help us get to the train station on our last day. Their attentiveness went far beyond anything we’ve experienced at other hotels. We were even given a thoughtful bag of gifts upon departure. Because the hotel is quite isolated, we ate all our meals on-site. The cuisine is Chinese, which isn’t usually my preference, but everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with great care. A standout was the afternoon tea we enjoyed on our second day. We could choose to dine in our room or at the restaurant, which was perfect depending on how we felt each day. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot springs. There are four in total, and we used the two located higher on the hill, which offered an incredible view—even on a cloudy day. The temperature was perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff assured us that each pool is drained and refilled after every use, which gave us great peace of mind. Soaking in the hot springs in the heart of winter, surrounded by Huangshan’s beautiful mountains, was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is about an hour from both Huangshanxi and Huangshanbei stations and easily reachable by car or Didi. Due to the weather, we didn’t visit the mountain scenic area, but the staff were more than willing to help us plan if we wanted to explore the surroundings. This was truly a 10/10 stay. The staff make you feel like you’re the only guests there with their warmth and attentiveness. The design and architecture are stunning, and the hotel even smells amazing. I have absolutely no complaints and would rank this among the best hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. It’s a perfect romantic getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. I can’t wait to return!

We arrived in Huangshan in the morning after departing from Shanghai, and the hotel staff kindly helped us with an early check-in. They even provided us with hiking sticks and offered a ride to the entrance of Huangshan. What I loved the most, however, was the hotel itself. It was not only spotless but also the most memorable accommodation during our 10-day trip in China. The room was very clean and incredibly spacious, so we were extremely satisfied. If I visit Huangshan again with my parents in the future, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality.

This is a very beautiful house hosted by a lovely and warm family. There are a number of rooms here and they are all modern and thoughtfully designed for a wonderful and comfortable stay. We love our room selection that we even extended another night on top of what we booked. Huangshan is a beautiful place and the owner helped arrange to send us to the ticket counter to purchase bus tickets up the mountain. We also got a lot of helpful tips and advice from the owner and his family about where to go sightseeing and going up the mountains. We were also picked up after we descended from the mountains straight to the lodging. The lady boss cooks excellent dishes and there are so many dishes to choose from. The owners are very helpful and will try their best to assist in anything we asked. I highly recommend this beautiful house with wonderful and amazing owners to anyone coming to Huangshan. This accommodation and their service deserves a 5 star review. From days before arrival, the Shilily has been in touch with us on possible routes to arrive to the accommodation. A buggy will pick you up and drop you inside the village where you can access the hotel through an alley. Their attention to our needs and itinerary were spot on. We did not even need to plan for anything, they will recommend various places for you to explore. The Xixinan village was a beauty on its own. When tea and dinner time dessert is being served, they will drop you a text to remind you about it. If you arrived the accommodation during tea time, they will escort you to different areas of the accommodation to enjoy afternoon tea and local snacks. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there, will want to stay at the same place again.

We had a wonderful stay at Tanhouse for our wedding anniversary. They made our room special upon arrival to wish us a happy anniversary. The breakfast was delicious and had good variety. Loved the photoshoot package as well - would highly recommend.

The hotel location and landscape is top notch for this region. Kids friendly - the indoor playground was amazing! We enjoyed the great service from the staff, especially Ms Xiang, who was very warm hearted and helpful. Can not expect the hotel to be a real 5-star compared to the well developed tourism places, some areas of improvement: many people still smoke inside the facilities - including the public hot spring area, swimming pool, even the hotel lobby. Some of the facilities inside the room are not well maintained - be sure to check them and request for fix or change the room if needed. But for this area, I’d highly recommend this hotel for family stay and a very relaxing experience at a reasonable price.
