A superb historic property under private management and ownership - actually, in the ownership of the same family for over 400 years altho’ now a member of the Small Luxury Hotels marketing system affiliated with Hilton. The property in its adjoining Gardens are a destination in themselves, along with the nearby (400m) Santa Clara monastery. They may be sufficient for some visitors, but it’s about a 15 minute walk to the centre of Coimbra and it’s main historical area. Arthur Wellesley - aka Viscount Wellington - was a visitor during his Iberian campaign, so you’re in good company.  Staff are superb and obviously hand picked by the owner. The receptionist when I arrived (Evening of Sunday 16 February) was simply the best I’ve ever experienced, Singapore, Bangkok and Tokyo included.  Genuinely fascinating to talk to about the history of the building and some of the previous guests (famous but  ‘passed’ celebrities so no confidence is breached).  Best to stay in the rooms in the main building if possible, if tales of the previous occupant intrigue. Although the spa Is impressive – up to best Thai standards - and I guess the adjoining spa rooms may be equally good. Overall, an absolute gem that far exceeded expectations.

The hotel is cozy and familiy's friendly, the reception desk was friendly and welcoming, Fatima at the reception desk was great. The breakfast is intercontinental buffet and had a variety of options besides great taste, Dinner is A LA carte menu and the chef is exceptional. We didn't use the outdoor pool since it's so cold but the Spa and the indoor pool was pretty nice، the Jacuzzi was out of order. Overall the location and services was pretty much great definitely deserves another visit.

Actually the room without maintenance well. And the room can’t open the curtain coz people can see through to my room if I open. So we changed the room without jacaccui , but we found the window door almost fall down and so many mosquitoes came to my room from the garden . So I closed and found the way to out all mosquitoes. Also the room was too dark even turned on all the lights, aircon not working. So many problems. So we decided to leave early morning after breakfast. Not comfortable

Hotel clean and we stayed in family room with 2 rooms connected. From hotel you can walk to see beach and hotel in the center so many restaurants around. Specially in another side of hotel have 2 restaurants with Luzzo pizza restaurants supper nice!

房間太整潔了，窗外有一條河流，可以看到日出和日落到80站也很方便，尤其值得一提的是他的自助早餐真是太美味了

Hotel em frente à praia, com excelente pequeno-almoço, staff super simpático e profissional, piscina, sauna, hidromassagem e ginásio. O almoço no restaurante do hotel estava top. A seleção dos vinhos é cuidada e o vinho branco seleção da Santa Vitória é bastante agradável. Excelente relação qualidade preço.

very well located hotel, in front of the beach and close to all relevant tourist attractions, as well as entertainment, shops, bars and restaurants. Service and concern for guests is a constant. Hotel with great facilities, spacious rooms, well decorated common areas in a very cozy atmosphere. Heated pool on the top floor allows a stunning view over the beach and the ocean at the rhythm of the sunset.

ที่จอดรถด้านนอกโรงแรมเขียนไว้เฉพาะโรงแรม แต่ทางโรงแรมบอกว่าไม่รู้ว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้น แนะนําให้จอดรถที่ลานจอดรถชั้นล่าง ไม่มีที่กินในบริเวณใกล้เคียง และสิ่งอํานวยความสะดวกโดยทั่วไปค่อนข้างเก่า

ทัศนคติการบริการดี สะอาด เตียงนอนและหมอนสบาย สภาพแวดล้อมดี สระว่ายน้ํา ฟิตเนส ห้องอ่านหนังสือ และสิ่งอํานวยความสะดวกอื่น ๆ ครบครัน อาหารเช้าก็โอเค ข้อเสียคือ ห้องเล็กมาก

Piscina muito pequena para a quantidade de pessoas. Não conseguimos usar dada a lotação. Ar condicionado do quarto muito barulhento. Sem almofadas e cobertores extra. Imenso tempo de espera no elevador. Problemas de infraestrutura nas paredes dos corredores. Não corresponde a um hotel 4 estrelas como indicado. Experiência a não repetir.
