I had a great experience at Scenic Hotel. During check-in, the male staff member was extremely friendly and helpful. He gave me lots of useful information about the area, including the best places to eat, where to park, and tips for seeing the penguins. His local knowledge really helped make our trip easier and more enjoyable. The next morning, after coming back late from travelling, I asked the reception if I could check out 15–20 minutes later. The staff member on morning reception was very cool, understanding, and friendly. She happily allowed the late checkout with no issues at all. Overall, both staff members provided excellent service, and I really appreciated their kindness and helpful attitude. Highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and outstanding customer service!

本以為房間可以看得到湖，有些失望。 從酒店到鎮中心湖邊大概需要開五分鐘左右的車程。酒店有冷熱水的游泳池，小孩子可以多玩一下。 就瓦納卡高昂的酒店費用來説，算得上中規中矩。 有一個漂亮的小院。由於定的是套房，廚房及其他設備一應俱全，這一點的體驗非常好。停車可以直接停在房間門口也很方便。

This hotel is very good, clean and comfy. I love their bed. It's so soft and comfortable. It's located in the good location. If you don't mind hearing the noises of cars and sirens.

Staff are very nice. Rooms are spacious and have all needed amenities. The negative rating for cleanliness comes from the kitchen area as to access the pans and plates you had to fight with spider webs first. The rest of the room is very clean and it was overall a nice stay

วันที่สามห้องพักแบบเดิมไม่สามารถต่ออายุได้จึงจองห้องวิวทะเลสาบที่แพงที่สุดวิวไม่ดีเท่าห้องก่อนไกลไปหน่อยห้องติดลิฟต์ได้วิวทะเลสาบดีกว่า แต่ใกล้ลิฟต์เสียงดังเกินไปจนแทบไม่ได้ตื่นมาทานอาหารเช้าเลยระเบียงชั้น 2 วิวแปลกตา ได้เครื่องดื่มแล้วรู้สึกดี กาแฟและอาหารในห้องพักก็ดี ที่จอดรถ ว่างครับพี่ที่แผนกต้อนรับบริการดีมาก พนักงานที่บาร์น้อยไป สั่งเครื่องดื่มบ่อยไม่มีใครเลย

Friendly host , welcome us and provide good information of Dunedin attractions. Room is clean and spacious. However, the mattress is a bit dated which affects sleeping when either one of us is turning over. A good variety of tea, coffee and cookies provided and it would be perfect if milk can be refilled daily .

The hotel was almost walkable from the airport. We arrived early Saturday morning and enjoyed the market right over the road. As we were early to the hotel we got our instructions and returned later, lovely receptionist. We did not eat at the hotel but there is a cafe on the ground level which closes around 2.30 but the smell from fresh bakery and coffee was pretty good. Self catering was good with basics. We had a faulty fridge and had just bought supplies but the hotel, although almost time for staff to leave, found us another room with an upgrade. If you are a fussy camper, you could say fittings in bathroom were ”cheap” and scuff marks on walls (all white so they show more) but it was perfect for us. Overlooking building sites and other buildings but just look up and there are the mountains in their splendour.l Cost was reasonable and as parking is pricy in Queenstown it was good to get free parking at the hotel.
