เป็นการมาดูคอนเสิร์ตที่ไต้หวันและนอนโฮสเทลคนเดียวครั้งแรก ลังเลอยู่นานว่าจะพักที่ไหน สุดท้ายเลือกที่นี่เพราะว่า ใกล้กับ Taipei main station ราคาไม่แรงแถมมีอาหารเช้าด้วย ก่อนมาถึงโรงแรม(ก็มีหลงบ้าง) แต่ดีที่ใกล้ทางออก 2 ฝั่ง Y13 ,Y15 ก่อนจองทาง รร แจ้งแล้วว่าไม่มีลิฟท์ พอไปถึง counter check in อยู่ชั้น 2 (ถ้ามีกระเป๋าหลายใบต้องยกขึ้นหลายรอบ) บันไดเล็กและชัน เดินกันดีๆ พนักงานบริการดี จองแบบห้องพักรวมหญิงห้องน้ำรวม (เตียว 2 ชั้น 6 เตียง) โดยรวมดีแต่พื้นที่ตรงกลางไม่ค่อยมี(กางกระเป๋าได้แค่ 1 คนก็เต็มแล้ว) แอร์เย็น เตียงกว้าง ดี มีที่แขวนให้(ตามในภาพ) ตู้ล็อคเกอร์ กุญแจเสียบเอาไว้เก็บของมีค่า ห้องน้ำกว้างพอใช้ได้ ชักโครก(ไม่มีสายฉีด) มีทิชชู ให้เติม มีที่แขวนให้หลังประตู(เก่าๆหน่อย) ฝักบัวน้ำแรงมาก(ประทับใจ) จะได้คูปองอาหารเช้า อยู่ชั้นบนสุด(ให้เอาคูปองใส่ในกล่องตรง Counter แล้วก็เดินเข้าไปหยิบอาหาร (ภายในโซน counter ) บริการตัวเองได้เลย ขนมปังปิ้ง แยมเนย น้ำส้ม กาแฟ ติ่มซำ หมั่นโถว ประมาณนี้ เลือกที่นั่งได้เลย (ไปสายคนเยอะ ไม่มีที่นั่ง) ทานเสร็จเอาจานไปล้างแล้วเอาใส่ตู้อบข้างล่างให้ด้วย เดินทางไปที่อื่นก็จะสะดวก เริ่มจาก taipei main station เช่นไป วัดหลงซาน ก็ 2 สถานี ถึงเลย ส่วน ซีเหมินติง ก็ 1 สถานี สะดวกตรงนี้ ใกล้ๆที่พักก็สามารถเดินไป7-11 ได้ (ดูจาก google map) ต

ห้องไม่ค่อยเก็บเสียง ได้ยินเวลาห้องใกล้ ๆ เปิดประตูเสียงดัง, พวกหมอนเหลืองเล็กน้อย, วอลเปเปอร์รูปกิ้งก่า ตอนแรกจะขอเปลี่ยนห้องแต่ไม่กล้า แต่สิ่งที่ได้เปรียบคือบุฟเฟต์อาหารเช้าที่ตัวเลือกเยอะมาก ๆ (แม้เมนูจะวน ๆ) และพวกสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก, แม่บ้านที่ความสะอาดเนี้ยบ, โลเคชันที่กึ่งกลางพอดีระหว่าง Taipei Main Station กับ Ximen แต่พนักงานควร nice ได้มากกว่านี้นิดนึง (เทียบจากโรงแรมอื่นที่เคยพักมา) อยากให้ยิ้มแย้ม รู้สึกถูกเอาใจใส่มากกว่าทำตามหน้าที่ มีแนวโน้มพักอีกในอนาคต ถ้ามาพักเพียงคนเดียว

เพิ่งเช็คอินเข้าพักแต่รู้สึกผิดหวังกับมาตรฐานความสะอาดและความปลอดภัยของห้องพักมาก ความสะอาด: เมื่อเปิดเข้าห้องมา พบเศษบะหมี่กึ่งสำเร็จรูปตกอยู่บนพื้น และมีขวดน้ำดื่มที่ถูกเปิดดื่มแล้ววางทิ้งไว้ในห้อง ภาพรวมความสะอาดถือว่ายังไม่ผ่านเกณฑ์มาตรฐาน ความปลอดภัย: บริเวณพื้นพรมมีลวดเย็บพรมโผล่ทะลุขึ้นมา ซึ่งอันตรายมาก ต้องระมัดระวังในการเดินภายในห้องเป็นพิเศษ หากมีเด็กเล็กหรือคนไม่ทันสังเกตเดินถอดรองเท้าอาจเกิดอุบัติเหตุได้รับบาดเจ็บได้ อยากให้ทางโรงแรมใส่ใจเรื่องการตรวจเช็คห้องพักก่อนส่งมอบให้ผู้เข้าพักมากกว่านี้ ทั้งเรื่องการทำความสะอาดอย่างทั่วถึงและการดูแลซ่อมแซมสิ่งชำรุดเพื่อความปลอดภัยของผู้พักอาศัย

The hotel is ok but the room is big. The restaurant in the hotel is a must try. My daughter LOVEs every dishes she ordered. She said, this is the best food she had in Taiwan, so we had two dinners at the hotel. The location of the hotel is not great! We couldn’t get into the local buses to go to Xitou nor to Taichung because the buses were full from the original starting point. However, the hotel offers fare shuttle service to and from Xitou but not Shanlinxi. The front desk lady drove us to Xitou, she was GREAT and very accommodating, she took us to Xitou bus station outside of the normal schedule hours so we can catch the bus back to Taichung. We would come back again with our car to get to different areas in Xitou again.
