I checked in to Shangri-La Hotel in Fuzhou on 22 Oct. The experience was a pleasant & unforgettable one. I was greeted by Sarah when I checked in
She was very friendly and helpful to acede to my request. Upon knowing that I am allergic to smoke smell, she arranged for the highest floor for me. The room is super clean and very big. I would also like to comment on the sincere service of another front counter staff, Wade Fu. He always greeted the guest with warm smiles. He answered all my questions well and showed concern to my safety as I was travelling alone. He made me felt at home. The hotel is in a strategic location, with WuYi Square just 5-min walk away and the there are many eateries within walking distance. Tourist attration ,SanFang QiXiang, is just a short car-ride. My overall impression of the hotel is awesome. I'll certainlyl stay in Shangri-La Hotel when I next visit Fuzhou. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I had a very pleasant stay. The staff was really helpful and courteous. The location of the hotel is great with a river view and a green park . Regards.
FFunky API can't believe it's Mercure hotel. It's typical Ibis hotels as one of the brand's of Accor. I wasn't sure why there's any checks from Accor group.
The hallway was stinky, the rooms really need renovation. It's really very old and lots of stains around wall areas. Normally used by tour groups or hourly needs, but it's very bad condition. Breakfast was not as per standard. Lack of amenities. I have been to Guangzhou Mercure, they were far better. Shower room stinks and had rustings on taps. It doesn't have anything like Accor Mercure.
Front desk staff was good. That's only plus point.
Ctrip should check the ratings.
I hope they renovate soon and have proper checks.
