The hotel boasts excellent amenities and a prime location, a private entrance to the Valley of Temples. However, there's room for improvement in the service department; it falls short of delivering a consistently five-star experience. The staffs could enhance their customer orientation and avoid a selective attention to guests.
First and foremost, a 4-star hotel should have an insulation system. We basically could even hear the room next door opening their luggage.. awful.
Apart from that (which is a big minus), the pool is cool, parking is free, staff friendly, breakfast decent.
Food options are pricey and limited.
Hotel's location is a convenient short walk to the old town. The in-hotel free parking is a bonus if you book a Classic Room. Room is clean but small, and can be a squeeze if you have big luggages. The only hotel I came across in all my years of travel that does not provide a kettle, and charges for a bottle of water. They might as well charge for the toilet paper. Petty, penny wise and pound foolish! Even if you ask to borrow one, there was none. They charges €2.50 for a 500ml bottle of water, more than 7x what you get from the supermarket. And there is no price list in the minibar. We were charged €7.50 for just one bottle consumed, mistaking the additional charges for tourist taxes. Consolation: Breakfast is good though.
TThanyalakWe stayed for 2 nights and kind of got a different experience on both nights.
It was in the summer time during weekday stay.
On the first evening we ate at the restaurant and it was very good set menu and food. There was also a party in house. So we decided to eat again the next dinner but turned out we were the only guest staying that night and were the only one dining in…. So food was not so great compared to night before.ore basic and simple dishes.
But it’s understandable, when the chef has to prepare meal just for us….
The place is busier in the weekend with locals.
And some days the pool is packed with people who joined for the day-pass.
Activities advertised on Facebook for children are also mostly on the weekend.. again we had a baby and felt a bit disappointing while we were there for the lack of activities during the weekday.
The grounds are lovely tho, garden, vineyards, olive trees, swimming pool.
SserenalimxlIncredible sea views from room’s balcony, pool and breakfast restaurant. Room a little dated with sticky floors, just wear bedroom slippers. Toilet is clean. Superb location!! Hotel was 3 mins walk to bus stop that takes you to Giardini train station. And 5 mins walk to the heart of town. Try Bam Bar’s granita & have dinner after sundown at any of the restaurants nearby.

ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel could not be in a better location with views of Etna, the town of Taormina and the sea. I had a single room. It was very small and only had a partial view which was a bit disappointing but I didn't pay much. The pool was shut which was a shame as although it is February it was warm and I would have liked a swim. I didn't eat at the hotel but did try to have a drink in the bar. Sat for around 15 minutes with no service so gave up. It was a shame as they had live piano music. I am not sure if service is better if you paid more or it is a little indifferent at the best of times. It is out of season so the hotel was not busy. Still fabulous destination and the hotel has a lot of history so definitely worth a visit.
