Kalaloch Lodge was definitely cute, simple, and had such a beautiful view from the cabin. The staff were also very kind and welcoming during our stay. However, there were a few issues that made the experience disappointing for me personally. There was no phone service or WiFi available, which may not bother everyone, but it was difficult for me. The hot water ran out after the first person showered, the heater would shut off after a while, and by the morning we had no electricity in the cabin at all. I understand they warn guests about no air conditioning, but I didn’t see anything mentioned about possible power issues. As a woman trying to get ready for the day, having no electricity made things really inconvenient. Unfortunately, some of the blankets also had stains on them. Overall, the scenery and staff were wonderful, but I personally don’t think I would stay here again unless I absolutely needed to.
While location is great by the oceanside, everything else was not worth the price. Notably, there is no guest WiFi service in the rooms, only by the check-in office. This is unacceptable for the price of the stay, especially when their internal employee-only WiFi has access throughout the property.
MMylene WWe booked it for a fun convention. I was disappointed right off the bat. I put both my husband's name and mine on the prepay reservation. They insisted that my husband had to come in to show photo ID so they could confirm it really was us. The kitchenette had no towels or anything to wash with. They said they don't have kitchen towels or cloths. We booked 3 nights, they gave us 2 washcloths, 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels. They said they had a towel shortage. Brought our garbage to the front desk because we didn't know what else to do so they said, put it outside your door and give us a call about it being there. Although, there was no replacement bags in the room. When I went to take a shower, I learned that we had 2 hotel type conditioner bottles and 2 lotion bottles. No shampoo. We only got one mini bar of soap so I used it to wash my hair. The heater in our room didn't work right either. It was either blowing cold or hot when set on Auto. We did try several settings. We froze the first night. Cooked to death second night. Third night just cold but not freezing. I heard the restaurant isn't open yet. I could see things were being worked on but they also seem to have a lack of staff. I don't feel the cost was appropriate for the level of care. I did find 2 of the staff that really did seem to care. One stuck up woman and then lazy ones. Notice the unclean porch. The tore up base of front door.

ผผู้เข้าพักAccommodations were good, ****** good, but 13 Moons Restaurant has gone down a notch or two and raised prices a notch or four. Had Reservation for 8 for 7:15 and were not seated to well after 7:30. Service was slow and the Prime Rib was sold out already and that was one of the reasons we were going there. Some had the pasta and prawn dish which were bland and the noodles were like cup of soup noodles. Lamb Shank was good. Steak was boring, lacked any spice or sauce. Had a 13 Moons mule which came with flat ginger beer so the redid it with fresh ginger beer the second time. Prices for these dishes were for a 5 star meal and service which maybe made a 3 - 3.5. Another note, it took over an hour after ordering to get our meals. We go there every year and it usually is pretty good and fair pricing but probably won't go there next year.
ผผู้เข้าพักChrysalis Inn and Spa is exactly what one envisions as the perfect experience in every way. We had the Full Bay water view room with fireplace and extra large window seat which really added to the ambiance. The bathroom slide away wall offered a water view even from the bathtub. Keenan’s on the Pier restaurant within the Inn was so convenient for room service with excellent menu. Walking distance to cute village of Fairhaven was fun for shopping and exercise as well as the boardwalk over the water out front of Inn. We’ll return again and again.
YYIN HEI NGGenerally very good! We arrived a little earlier, we called the hotel to ask whether we can check in earlier, they allowed us to do so as they have available cleaned room. There’s a nice restaurant beside the hotel, the receptionist is professional and gentle, also there’re some cookies and drinks at the check in lobby.
The room is great, clean, the bed is comfortable to sleep, the bathroom with all Dove toiletries which I really like. The swimming pool is also nice as the water is clean, kids have a lot of fun there.
Great experience!
