This confirmation was for a central tower room. At check-in, we got placed in North Tower... With a nice view of the parking lot. Elevators are old, slow, and can be a wait. But gift shop, restraunts, and the river front location were good.
One of the best hotels we’ve been! It’s near to the Death Valley entrance, and has everything you need! A cosy restaurant inside the lodge, ******* on the side, general store, laundry facilities! And also a fuel station right within the hotel property with cheap fuel price! Compared to those in the the Death Valley park. When we checked out, they gave us 2 warmly baked cookies on the house too!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. While it’s beginning to show a bit of its age, it still offers excellent value and a memorable experience. The kids had an amazing time enjoying the beach, pools, waterslide, water polo, and a variety of other amenities. There are also plenty of nearby activities like boating, water sports, and golf.
One disappointment was that the hot tub—my personal favorite—was closed during our stay.
We’ve stayed at both the Hilton and the Westin at Lake Las Vegas. The Hilton feels a bit more upscale, but the Westin offers more fun. The Lake Las Vegas area itself is absolutely gorgeous, though it’s quite a distance from the main Las Vegas *****.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic escape—perfect for families or couples—this is a great choice. Just be ready for a bit of a drive for door and dining runs and if you’re planning to explore beyond the lake.
Beautiful property. Loved the lobby area, room and amenities. There is also small cafe inside hotel which serving nice coffee. Will definitely plan to visit again. 1 point less for the allocated deluxe room. Expected a room with a better view.
