There were several fees that I didn’t expect such as $31 resort fee. $15 early check in fee for checking in at 2:00 rather than 4:00 and $10 for parking.
The place also needs updating. Two beds were standard size not queen size.
Al things considered I would not be inclined to go back.
The location is very convenient, right off route 1 south. We arrived very late and with the incorrect booking date. The lady at the service desk was extremely helpful and managed to rebookd a room at the spot. Thank you to trip.com.
They also allowed us to have a late check out. Again have to praise the friendliness of the service desk.
The room assigned was not set up properly so we got an upgrade.
Room is clean by there are no slippers, no shower cap, tooth brush etc. Kind of disappointed.
The hotel has improved a lot over the last few years. Daily housekeeping to tide up things is a nice touch for me. Most hotels have stopped since the pandemic years. Breakfast is decent. Offerings are fresh and adequate for business travelers and family. The bathroom is a little small but the king bed and pillows are very comfortable. Nice AC thermostat keeps the room nice and cool during the heatwave this week. Staff members are very friendly and helpful. Will go back when I am in the area next time. Thank you!
The room needed vacuuming when we first got there also one of the bellboy men he was very rude to us very rude to my husband and I he was very dismissive did not acknowledge us, and I did not appreciate that everybody else was very friendly, cordial and kind but the room was the crumbs on the floor when we entered into the room
CCRodOk so first let me just say for the price we paid on the days we went. It wasn't horrible. I would go back BUT YMMV so this was my experience.
Location was great. Right on the boardwalk and an easy walk to Hard Rock when we went to the concert.
Service was meh. The only time I had a friendly anyone in the establishment was the woman who checked us out. Everyone else that we interacted with were either disinterested or perfunctory. No help on where to find our rooms, no help on any services offered. We didn't even get the annoying (did you want to sign up for our card?) that you get in ****** hotels. I guess that was a plus.
From my understanding we were on the ”older side” of the establishment. But regardless, staying on an entire floor that says non smoking it smelled of smoke. both cigarettes and ****. I don't care if you do either but I do care to smell either in my room or right outside my door (defeats the whole purpose of non smoking). Everything is dated which is whatever. but the blinds didn't work the coffee maker wire was too short for the ”dresser” so you had to keep moving it to the nightstand to use it. The room itself was relatively clean although the back of the nightstands hadn't been touched in a long time with all that accumulation of dust. Its design is just...weird. like so much random open area. I guess you can dance there lol. The ”dresser” didn't have drawers it had...like cubby holes. We didn't use them seemed pointless. I didn't even bother with the tv it was too far away and faced away from any sitting area (again weird layout).
The ****** itself was ok. Nothing crazy although I did like that rotating bar they had. But again. EVERYWHERE just reeked of smoke. To use a comparison, at Hard Rock when you were on the ****** side sure people smoked there (i get it) but the hotel side of things smelled clean refreshing and airy.
In the end, manage expectations and you'll be fine. If you are a smoker I am sure you will be fine too. If all you plan to do is sleep there its fine (although we were on the 7th floor and could still hear the music bumping below but the music was good so w/e lol) It works, again its not horrible. Its definitely 2.5-3 star range.
Ssherj102This quick overnight trip was to celebrate the birthday of my husband. We like staying at this hotel as the amenities and the close proximity to everything on the boardwalk is exceptional. The staff was nice and our room was nice as well. We had no issues.
MmarinkiEven though I arrived around noon, I was able to get my room right away. The staff were very pleasant and never made me feel uncomfortable with any overly attentive attitude. Their service felt natural and genuinely kind.
The price was higher than other airport hotels, but I chose this one because it is located inside the airport and I had read that the shuttle buses run frequently. In reality, this part did not meet my expectations. The shuttle bus from the airport took quite a long time to arrive, and the shuttle to the terminals was divided by terminal, which caused additional waiting time. Compared to other airport hotels, it felt like everything took more time.
Since you can actually see the terminal from the entrance, I found myself wishing it was possible to simply walk there
ผผู้เข้าพักThis is the second time we've stayed at this hotel. It works out well for us because it is close to Newark liberty airport. There are a few places to eat around this hotel but not much. There is a very large mall within walking distance and it has a few restaurants in it as well. I'm talking IHOP, tgi Friday's and the like. As for the hotel, it's somewhat average but OK for at nights sleep prior to flying out, or just before a cruise. In our room, just like before, the USB ports at the bedside don't work, and the water pressure is fairly low. On this particular trip they even ran out of paper plates for the morning breakfast. I thought this was a easy fixable problem by just sending somebody to go buy some. It was somewhat inconvenient for the guests as they only had bowls for your eggs and sausage. Not necessarily a deal breaker, but I felt like somebody should have taken care of this. The coffee is good they have free transportation to the airport running on the quarter hour, 24 hours a day. When we stayed there prior to taking a cruise, they also provided transportation to the cruise port costing$36 per person. They also offer round trip transportation from the cruise port if needed.
Would we stay there again? Probably not. There are several other hotels that are right across the street and I think we'll give them a try next time.
ผผู้เข้าพักI didn’t like the room because it was a conjoining and the other guest next to mine was very loud all night. Didn’t get any sleep. And also when I opened the closet it was a roach in there I killed it.
MMarkAPOne of the nicer properties in Atlantic City. Modern decor and spacious rooms. Very comfortable. Of course lots of food choices and plenty of amenities. A short stay for business so didn’t enjoy all of the extras. Nice view from the 30th floor.
