The receptionist was extremely helpful, kind and attentive!! She noticed my disability and even offered me a handicapped room and removed the 10.00 parking lot charge something I was totally unaware of Their rooms are always clean, nice and nothing more or nothing less than the traveler would need!! The bar was nice with live music but I had to get a barmaids attention after waiting for about 15 minutes in a practically empty bar. Margarita was OK. They only offered one kind.

There were pros and cons. Hotel not in a convenient location for tourists visiting. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Air-conditioner and refrigerator need to be switched off to sleep as they are too noisy. Mould in the bathroom. Service was good though.

Staff was okay — some were a little snippy. We asked if they had a cot and the lady looked at us like we were dumb. The rooms were okay. This was our 3rd time to stay and just over all our least favorite experiences.

There’s not a lot (if any) of nice options in Grand Junction, but I stayed at super 8 the night before, and it was a complete mess. I was hoping for a better experience here, which I did get. But I was still unimpressed with the outdated furniture and bathroom, my ice bucket had the old bag of ice from the previous guest with water still in it. The front desk crew was super nice, so I appreciate that. I feel like at the price point, every room should have a refrigerator, luckily they were able to store my cold food downstairs in the community refrigerator. It wasn’t a bad experience, but I feel like Doubletree should do better even in a place like Grand Junction.

Very clean and stylish room with decent view of the city. Responsive and helpful staff as well.

The room size is relatively small compared to other hotels in the same area, but overall it’s clean and comfortable. The breakfast options are quite limited, which was a bit disappointing. However, for a short stay, it’s a decent choice.
