I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel.
The restaurant was excellent, and every meal was delicious and well prepared.
The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made it easy to relax.
Most of all, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, always making me feel welcome.
Thanks to their hospitality, my stay was truly enjoyable, and I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.
Excellent Stay and Warm Hospitality at Mercure Kathmandu
This was my first time visiting Kathmandu, and Mercure Kathmandu truly left a wonderful impression. From the moment we arrived, the service and hospitality stood out.
A special mention to Paras, who picked us up from the airport and helped us with check-in. He was exceptionally kind and professional, and even shared some very useful information about getting around Kathmandu — which really helped us make the most of our trip.
We had booked a room with breakfast for only one person, but the hotel kindly extended complimentary breakfast for both of us — a gesture we truly appreciated.
The room itself was awesome — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The toiletries were complete, even including a razor and shaving cream, which was a nice touch.
Overall, the staff throughout our stay were consistently helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Highly recommend Mercure Kathmandu to anyone visiting the city — great service, comfort, and warm hospitality all around!
Awesome! Very very satisfied with our stay at Pomelo. There’s location is great, we are just a few minutes walk from Thamel, 20 minutes walk from Sayambhu, 10 minutes taxi from Balaju… Now the service, it was the best part in the inn, the staff is really very friendly and accommodating, thank you Gyanu and Kamal who helped us for everything during our stay. We booked two rooms as a family, but we got one big family room with separated rooms, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was big and proper to use. The breakfast is the best one we had in Kathmandu, fresh and simple. There is a rooftop, from where we took a bowl of air in the evenings and mornings, really nice.
We booked Deluxe Room via Trip.com because it is mentioned as ”Mountain View” room. But in actual , there is no mountain view room in hotel and hotel did not aware about that information. (May be the gap between trip.com and hotel). Well , as for me, it is not hotel fault and i observed that almost all of the mid-range hotels in Nepal don't have Mountain view rooms. But , you can enjoy the mountain at the roof top of the hotel and it was very nice.
Breakfast ,European style ,is quit ok for us. The hotel have separate restaurant and can order the food also.
Since it is mid-range price hotel , don't expect for room cleaning and facilities. (For example , TV and AC are old but functioning well , no elevator, Wi-Fi unstable sometime .)
Hotel Staff are warmly welcome always and always ready to support. We stayed total 3 days there and we had good times.

DDDamianSuperb stay a little iff the trouble of the main street. Sunaj and his family go out of their way to make you feel at home & helping you! Would recommend 100% 😌
ผผู้เข้าพักThe skyline restaurant is the best at sunset in this hotel. They have a transparent glass floor to watch everything under your feet. Many locals also get dressed up and come here to enjoy the million-dollar-worthy sight. You can also enjoy the buffet breakfast at the same restaurant if staying here.
I used the swimming pool and sauna on 9 floor. The staff there are very attentive and friendly. Feel like a queen being there!
The room is super clean and smell nice! I am amazed by the A.C. System. Believe me that’s very rare to find in Kathmandu!
All is very good from the beginning of check-in and till the end. They have free drop-off transportation to airport. So I would highly recommend to book the last nights in Nepal and enjoy a relaxing evening of here!
BBernard VoonThe hotel is conveniently situated right behind of the Garden of Dreams. Just a short walking distance to the busy Thamel area. The vicinity has convenience stores, cafes, eateries and pharmacy.
The room is quite small but it's alright for a short stay. The bed wasn't quite as comfortable as other hotels that I've stayed. Very basic fitness facility in the hotel, do wish that they would make the gym bigger and better equipped.
The breakfast buffet is good enough for some fuel before heading out to explore. Omelette could definitely be improved but I do like the mushrooms and bacon with my omelette. They also have a soup station which you can pick what you want to go into your soup. The soy latte was nicely done. Some day they serve the chocolate cake which is a must try.
Staffs are very well trained and speaks good english. I'd definitely recommend staying here for the value for money, fantastic location and good hospitality.
KKrishmon DangolHotel Country Villa was a great stay with some disappointments.
The location is perfect with a great view from all around the hotel.
The service and staff were great all around with some exceptions.
I booked 3 rooms for a total of 5 people with non non-refundable plan but due to a decrease in the number of people from 5 to 4, the hotel agreed to cancel 1 room for free for us. Although the process took some time and some pushing from Trip.com agent I am grateful for the free cancellation.
One of the rooms I booked, the Junior Suite was for my partner and me for a short honeymoon kind of stay. The room was well designed and had great views but the in-room Jacuzzi needs maintenance.
The outdoor pool and Jacuzzi were also great and the pool staff let us use them more than the closing time.
The disappointing part of the stay was during breakfast. The buffet was amazing but the glass I used for juice had lipstick stains which I noticed after drinking from it. I am a male who doesn't use lipstick so it was clearly not mine. When I complained to a staff member who seemed to be a supervisor of some sort, instead of an apology, he laughed and asked us ”Are you sure that it's not yours?” After that, he took the glass away and brought a new glass of juice but the juice was different from the one I was drinking.
We were completely shocked by this as it was not a rookie staff that did this but rather a supervisor.
Overall, we are satisfied with the whole stay but the lipstick on the glass has left a bad aftertaste.
