โรงแรมตั้งอยู่ในทําเลที่ดีใจกลางเมือง ใกล้กับ Melrose Abbey ซูเปอร์มาร์เก็ต และป้ายรถเมล์หลายป้าย ทําให้สะดวกมาก ห้องพักมีอ่างอาบน้ํา น้ําร้อนก็เพียงพอ ถือเป็นโบนัสที่ดี อย่างไรก็ตาม อาคารดูเก่าและมีเสียงดังเอี๊ยด เมื่อแขกท่านอื่นเดินไปตามทางเดิน เสียงก็สะท้อนเข้ามาในห้อง และฉันก็ได้ยินการสนทนาจากห้องข้างๆ ด้วย

The location has a great location, room was spacious but I am afraid it was almost sleepless night because the bathroom fan was too loud (no less than a hoover running with intermittent thud sounds) not only in our room but in room above. In the middle of the night above room turned the bathroom fan on for more than 30 minutes at couple of times and it was too disturbing with the loud noise. Breakfast was good but not great.

The Coach House is in a quiet secluded location between Chirnside and Allanton. It's extremely peaceful and a great place to relax and unwind. The cottage is spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you need for your stay. Liz is very helpful and was available to answer any questions. It's a perfect place to stay for the Jim Clark Rally and I highly recommend it!

Lovely room, brilliant location, staff were friendly and welcoming. Place to store bikes and sunny outdoor space. Only minor flaw was not being able to order my favourite cocktail from the bar (despite it being stocked with all the ingredients to make it). Will definitely be back.

Had a great 4-night stay at the Tontine. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Food was delicious and there was a good choice. Our favourite place was in the lounge on a comfy sofa with a cocktail. Hope to stay again.
