Bahar Restaurant Review

You struggle to find this place, tucked in a courtyard opposite one of the many small mosques surrounding the Grand Bazaar, but it's worth the search. A shop owner told me of this place and I stop for lunch everytime I'm in Sultanahmet. The meals are typical cafeteria-style Turkish & Ottoman entrees and the variety of fresh veggie sides make even the simplest entree into a full lavish Turkish spread. Quick & delicious and without having to step far from the major sites.

It's a great place to eat Mezze and sea food. the food is delicious, fresh and tasty but a bit expensive. the staff is very professional

A great place to grab a real Turkish lunch just outside the bazaar - to the left of the Nurosmaniya Gate. Lots of hot meat and vegetable stews in a big glass case inside - just point and it is rushed immediately to your table.
