The Hotel is VERY AFFORDABLE, clean and has nice environment. It feels cozy, and the staffs are nice and accomodating. The food in the resto is also affordable and yummy. Best for travelers lodge in place with family or friends. They also have videoke spots and events place. Highly recommended!
Review of Proxy Hotel, Alaminos
We had a very pleasant stay at the Proxy Hotel. The location was excellent—being so close to Lucap Wharf made it very convenient for exploring Hundred Islands and the surrounding area. The rooms were impressively clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable environment overall. The only minor drawback was that the bed felt a bit too firm for our preference, but this did not take away from the overall positive experience. The combination of convenience, cleanliness, and comfort makes Proxy Hotel a solid choice for travelers visiting Alaminos.
Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff are accomodating. The place has good open areas. View is good. The sea is just nearby. Can be improved by installing a more modern tv, quieter split type airconditioners. Overall experience is excellent.
Maybe the best hotel in Bolinao area. Excellent landscaping, swimming pools, garden, kids area.
The only drawback and really a little one is the staff service. I give this mark because they are really not helpful for giving touristic information for landmarks around, and especially for the Giant Clams - for me the real treasure around in this area.
Other than that, it is really a place to go and stay - there is no hotel around that can compare.
They are only open until 10pm not like what there page says ”always open” or until 12mn, you wont be able to enter if you arrive late.. The place is quite far from the plaza, but the room is clean. Staff is also approachable. I might still consider the place though on my next visit..
First off want to say that the hotel was very clean and overall our stay was pretty good. I would stay here agian but definitely ask for a quieter room. The air vent outside our window was very loud and woke me and my wife up multiple times throughout the night.
The beds are very hard so either bring a mattress topper if you can, our be prepared to sleep on a super hard mattress. Also pillows were very hard for me but my wife was okay.
Free breakfast was nice and had a good selection.
Thank you so much to The Happy Grey Hotel, Vigan, for such a wonderful stay. Everything was lovely, and we truly enjoyed our time there. The hotel is very nice, and all the staff were incredibly accommodating, kind, and always ready to help. You made our Vigan trip even more special and comfortable. We’re very grateful and would definitely love to stay with you again. ✨🏨
I was with my sister, booked a suite room and everything is so clean. The staff are so friendly, ifnyou need anything theyre attentive. All smiles whenver they serve food. It was a great stay, would recommend this hotel. Its a nice place to watxh the sunset too, the pool has no obstructed view if you love sunsets.
Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city! Balai Balatong is located inside a barangay and has kubo/hut theme with a touch of modern elegance. The rooms are well designed and are really clean.
We were lucky to book the place for our own on that day as it is a weekday for a very inexpensive price. We got the pool and entire place literally for our own for a day which is great! It could be priced double or triple for its current state of the rooms.
As the place is relatively new, just opened last 2024, there is no in house reception available. Works like an airbnb. No in house-resto yet. These two might be the reasons why they are holding on to pricing the rooms higher. Would have given them a perfect rating if these are available. There is a good restaurant though just in front of the place called Pha Ramen which is an aesthetically good restaurant serving good Pinoy dishes (and accepts credit cards).
Staffs are friendly and accommodating. We had an early flight the next day and they were able to arrange for our transfer to the airport.
We will surely come back!
ผผู้เข้าพักGood -Met owners of BnB, Ice cream, bar and dining available on site (Italian / local food), good breakfast included. Air-conditioned room, phone and satellite tv (requires load by site). On site generator to support power blackouts. Nice garden like feel, gated and fenced. On site parking (minimal). Christmas lights set up for the season. New three-story expansion currently being built (but no impact to stay). Stocked in room mini bar. Shower water flow good. Nice on site pool (3-4 ft deep). Nice ocean views, Koi pond and sitting areas. Dogs and cats (3 ea) live on site.
Bad -Food order ~3 hr in advance, prices are a bit higher than normal, breakfast night before. Some items on menu not available. Room is very small mostly bed and small area to walk around. Bathroom local size challenge for larger people (toilet to wall space). Plumbing not support flushing of TP, place in holding bin. Shower heater wall switch should be labeled. Switch is in same stack of switches as bath lights. Refrigerator and mini bar stocked. (bug spray recommended for foreigners as mosquitoes can get in the room). Located on main roadway. A short drive to other things in the area. No beach (small gravel area), surf can be strong at back of property. Kayaks appeared usable but life jackets were questionable (suggest replacing) unless experienced seemed more like yard art. Amenity kit provided (bar soap was crumbled and could not be used, shampoo was barely enough for one shower (suggest abandon and provide home made or none at all).
Ugly -Local purified drinking water provided in plastic pitcher (not enough for two people per/day and no way to know where from), can ask for more but not convenient. Spouse incurred sickness from bad (other) water during stay.

ผผู้ใช้ไม่ระบุชื่อThe place was very beautiful and peaceful, and our experience for the entire stay was far beyond the price we paid. The staff was also very accommodating, they even dropped us off at the nearest station for commuters after our check out when they realized we only commuted our way there. The beach was very serene and private,. You can see the crowd growing at the other side of the shore while we were the only ones in front of the resort. The only thing we wish they'll improve is the bad smell coming from the water of the sink and the shower. But overall the place is really nice and we will surely come back there with more company next time.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe truly enjoyed our stay at Villa Minerva Eco Farm with my family. The place offers a peaceful and refreshing environment, perfect for quality time and relaxation. The natural surroundings and eco-friendly atmosphere made the experience even more special. It was a great escape from the busy routine, and we appreciated the calm and welcoming ambiance. Overall, it was a memorable family getaway that we would happily recommend.
ผผู้เข้าพักLocation 180 is just a couple of minutes walk from the beach. It is very minimalistic and has a nice cozy garden which allows for nice quiet mornings. It's a basic room with a private toilet and bath and it is kept very clean. Our host, Jeff, was very accommodating and friendly and was very easy to deal with. I'd say its good value for money.
AArmando SantillanVery professional and polite customer services. Accessible to Lingayen market. Good location.
I will definitely stay in this hotel again.
Thank you so much for your very good service and hospitability (From Security Guards, Room Cleaner and Front Desks). Kudos to all of you!
