The check in process is very unfriendly for foreigners. The instructions are unclear. The 24/7 contact will be answered on the 5th or 6th call. It took us an hour to get the key and correct location for the room. The key and the room are two different places.
Other than that, the room is very nice for a family. Cozy and spacey. Very nice location. 10 mins walk to the station. If the check in instructions can be improved, it is a nice place.
I caught the RV train from Helsinki, which was relaxing and a brilliant way to see the countryside. Arriving into Rovaniemi at 21:20, it was a short cab drive to the hotel, and with 24/7 reception checking was a breeze.
Twin room 410 was well appointed, clean, and beds were comfortable; the room safe was easy to set and use. I appreciated the door chain for extra security and peaceful night sleep.
Santas Hotel central location was excellent ,with the padestrian mall, shops, restaurants, and bars literally around the corner.
Taxis could be found out front, and the santa/airport bus was only a short walk up the street. Though do pay attention to santa express pickup and drop-off times as they do not run that regularly.
The buffet breakfast had something for everyone to enjoy! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the Christmas decorations throughout the hotel made my inner child smile.😊
There are many attractions, so be sure to give yourself enough time to experience everything.
I will definitely choose to stay again next time I travel to Rovaniemi.

Had a short stay here because we had an early morning flight. Room was cosy and clean. Hotel location was great. Did not go for breakfast as we had to leave early to the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great place!
The hotel is on the top of ski slope, in winter time driving there could be challenging for first timer, but over all is good, maybe the room needed more improvement, but the lobby and parking is very nice
Great experience, the staff we exceptional and so helpful . Rooms were well equipped and we even had a view of the slope …
Breakfast was nice too with lots of choice and accommodated my dairy free diet with no issues .
We will definitely stay here again

JJon LiangWe stayed at Pyhalinna and overall found the apartment itself to be decent. The facilities inside the unit were quite complete and convenient. However, the cleanliness was disappointing — the bed sheets were not clean when we arrived. The funny (and slightly frustrating) part was that after we reported it, someone came to do a light cleaning of the room (even though we were previously told mid-stay cleaning required an extra fee), but the sheets still weren’t changed.
The property is ski-in/ski-out and located next to the “family slope,” but there are many areas that really need improvement. First of all, for beginners without a car, it takes around 30 minutes to walk down to the base area to rent equipment(experienced can use the shop on the mountain), and the path is quite unsafe. Honestly, this alone almost made me give a one-star review. Secondly, the so-called family slope wasn’t fully open, and the upper section was surprisingly steep — definitely not what we expected for a family-friendly run. Returning the rental equipment was also inconvenient; you must ski all the way to the bottom because the shop on the mountain doesn’t accept returns.
After returning our equipment, we were very lucky that the ski patrol officer Markus kindly offered to take us back up the hotel. We really appreciated his help — without him, it would have been another long and difficult walk.
There are simply many practical issues that should be improved. I truly hope the resort can learn from more established ski destinations to create a safer and more beginner-friendly experience.
The positive interactions with the staff were the main reason we didn’t give this place a one-star rating — they truly made a difference despite the other issues. Really thank you, Coach Joni, Peter, Markus, Joonathan and the other staff I didn’t get your name.
TTan SMThe Glass Igloo was great but you have to walk to the guesthouse for your showers. The breakfast was great and the restaurant provided good options for lunch and breakfast. For the adventurous, you can go to the nearby supermarket and cook your meal in the sheltered fireplace. Don't forget to experience either the traditional or the electrical sauna during your stay! Most importantly, participate in the guided activities with hot drinks and roasted sausages such as husky sled rides, aurora hunting, and ice skating.
ผผู้เข้าพักI've only spent one night with my son, and we've been taken care of very well, it's very familiar. They offer you everything you need, it is located at the door. the only thing it does not have is private bathroom, and the beds are fine, the only thing I put a fault is the pillows. but I recommend it is my very nice, quiet, and good place to see aurora bowling, because it has 200 meters a perfect lake to see them.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe cottage was what was promised in the description. It fit 2 adults + 2 teenagers and 2 dogs just fine. The kitchen equipment was good, everything you needed was found. We will definitely come again
