We are so happy and satisfied with this hotel until the day we checked out. We were accused of taking the laundry bag which is worth 300k Uzbek SUM. I went up with 2 staff and it turned out it was in the drawer all the time (the funny thing is I never even touched it.) I don’t blame these 2 staff as I know it is their responsibility to make sure nothing was missing/stolen (though next time it would be appreciated if they can check it more thoroughly.)
What truly pissed me off is the attitude from another female staff at the reception named Zarifa. From the moment we checked out, she just looked grumpy and when my friend said “we never used it”, she reacted with “I am sure you did” in a very rude way! Even later on, it turned out to be in the drawer in the room, she was not even apologetic (the other 2 staff at least said “sorry for the mistake.”
This is one of the 2 five star hotels in Samarkand and I just hope what we paid at this hotel is equivalent to the amount of respect you show to your customers. The hotel really NEEDS to put more training in your staff’s service.
By the way, we had a really nice chat with another staff named “Firdav” at the first floor bar (if I remember his name correctly, he is tall and bit skinny). He had worked in Hilton for 2 years and the professionalism and politeness he demonstrated is just another level. PLEASE LEARN FROM HIM THAT HOW A STAFF AT 5 STAR HOTEL SHOULD BEHAVE AND TREAT THEIR GUESTS!!
Останавливались в начале января, отель понравился. Номер с теплым полом в ванной комнате, работает отопление - ночью спали с открытым окном, нам было даже жарко. Посторонних запахов в номере нет. Завтраки отличные, каждый найдет что ему нравится, есть терраса, предположу что в теплое время года там тоже можно позавтракать. Отдельно отмечу сотрудников отеля - очень добродушные, готовы помочь в любой момент.
Останавливалась в отеле с 22 по 27 ноября 2025, осталась в полном восторге . Отличное расположение отеля рядом со всеми достопримечательностями Самарканда, через дорогу знаменитый Шахи-Зинда. Все в пешей доступности ,до площади Рагистан 15 мин пешком, Сиабский базар 5 мин,прекрасная транспортная развязка .Рядом есть супермаркет Комфорт, прекрасная пловная.
Ребята администраторы отеля на 5++, всегда на связи, помогали в решении абсолютно любого вопроса👍
Прекрасно говорят на русском/английском языках.
Отель чистый, современный , с элементами национальной стилистики, уборка в номерах ежедневная. Есть завтраки, не вау , но разнообразные, поесть утром вполне достаточно, есть каши, выпечка, овощи, фрукты , йогурты и тп.
Я очень довольна,что остановилась в отеле Khan , обязательно рекомендую к проживанию 👌
Great 3 nights stay at Movenpick hotel with all amenities. Very convenient and close to the Gour Emir monument (4/5mn by walk) and the Registan square (15/16mn). A lot of cafe and restaurants around the hotel as we didn’t book the hotel breakfast. As we are lazy to dine out, we enjoyed twice diners at the restaurant Caramelle (really juicy manti and tasteful somsa & soups) We tried the sauna (hammam was under reparation) and the fitness. We had pleasant drinks at the pool bar. So we can recommend the Movenpick hotel at Samarkand. And the room rates are very affordable for a 4,5/5* hotel.
Nice room and varied breakfast buffet. Great Spa area with pool, sauna and hamam. The aircon in our room unfortunately was quite loud, blasting at full force, and it wasn’t possible to adjust it or turn it down. We gave feedback and they said they would send a technician to fix it while we were out, but the issue remained. Overall a pleasant stay.
I strongly recommend not to select this hotel. The decoration is good, the room is very clean and comfortable, but the breakfast is a little simple. However, the mostly impressed is, it looked not like a hotel, it turned out to be a party center. I stayed for three nights, for the first night, there was a party made the whole hotel very noisy. I complained but nothing changed, the party finished at about 11:30PM. The second night was quite, while a party came again the third night, this time, it finished until about 1:00AM.

Вкусные завтраки, но очень много мучного, хотелось бы больше белкового, но выбрать есть из чего.
Ванная протекала после душа весь пол в воде, из-за этого в ванной стоял неприятный запах сырой воды.
Номера чистые, хорошее, мягкое постельное белье

As a female solo traveller I felt very safe and secured throughout my stay. as I arrived before the check in time, I wanted to leave my luggage at the hotel and proceed with sightseeing and was offered if I would like to partake on an 'excursion' to help the students who will be future tourists guides experience and how they may improve. there were no extra costs incurred and we only need to pay for the entrance fee to the tourist attraction. it was a great experience for me as they were all very accommodating and cheerful.

ผผู้เข้าพักI have to say we will give the reception guy 6 stars up to five. We have to catch up the train in the early morning around 1am, so that we need to stay in the lounge for around 4hours.The reception guy, with my great respect and grateful, stay up the whole night with us, no rest and give water and turn on for us. In the end, support us for communicating with the driver and carry the luggages for us, with no tips(sorry we dont have change cash at that moments)
also breakfast nice and room is clean and tidy
