A lovely traditional country house hotel. The public rooms were just what you expected, old world charm, the food excellent but the best asset  was the friendly and helpful staff. Unable to comment on bedrooms as we were in an accessible room which wasn’t great, good parking though. Needs attention to basic customer requirements, overall a great few days

Absolutely wonderful. Id stayed at Durham Royal County before with my girlfriend. However she didn't come with ne this time due to reasons that she had. The staff at the hotel were lovely about it and made me feel better about tge situation and a lovely note and complementary drinks for me to come back to in my room. All I can say is thankyou and I'll look forward to staying with you again soon. Thanks Matthew

การตกแต่งห้องทันสมัย สะอาด เป็นระเบียบ ทําเลดีมาก อยู่ในย่านบริการ มีแมคโดนัลด์อยู่ข้างๆ และมีคอสตาที่แผนกต้อนรับของโรงแรม สิ่งเดียวที่ไม่พอใจคือห้องมีเครื่องปรับอากาศที่อุณหภูมิคงที่ซึ่งดังไปหน่อยและอุณหภูมิต่ําไปหน่อย เครื่องปรับอากาศควบคุมโดยแผนกต้อนรับ โหมดอัตโนมัติของเครื่องปรับอากาศในห้องเล็ก ๆ พัดลมเย็นตลอดเวลา ฉันลงไปที่แผนกต้อนรับกลางดึกเพื่อปรับ แผนกต้อนรับมีทัศนคติที่ดีและช่วยปรับโหมดความร้อน แต่อุณหภูมิโดยรวมไม่สูงในตอนกลางคืน

I have been to Hartlepool many times in the past stayed in different places over the years but the Grand Hotel I liked nice staff spacious rooms location ideal I did come across one rude customer that was not very nice despite the staff doing g everything they could for her so I just had to tell her off fo being so rude definitely will stay again and also o e mention to the curry house in the same building excellent food and again nice staff

พัก 4 คืน สบายมาก สะอาด ถูกหลักอนามัย มีร้านอาหาร มีย่านการค้าขนาดใหญ่อยู่ใกล้ๆ มีป้ายรถเมล์ไปใจกลางเมือง ฉนวนกันเสียงโดยรวมของโรงแรมไม่ค่อยดีนัก แต่พอรับได้ เพื่อนบ้านยังเงียบอยู่ ทิวทัศน์ระหว่างทางสวยงาม

Bags of character, they play up to the castle theme and that's a good thing! I normally hate single rooms but was made up with this one. So comfy...PS it's *******

Room old and outdated - hotel needs refurbished in older areas - new spirts bar disappointing expensive and not that clean - nenus dirty with fingerprints and sticky - considering brand new they beed higher standards tho mains in Fusion were good but prawn crackers at £5.95 were awful

Hotel was very clean and the staff are very helpful and attentive, however, their kitchen appears to be understaffed. The breakfast served by a waiter/waitress but on the first day,(Saturday), after ordering our breakfast we waited one hour before it came, on the second day we waited 45 mins before it arrived. By this time the toast and tea were cold.

A great stay. Staff were lovely and super helpful. A problem with my room meant i had to switch, but staff addressed this as soon as possible. Pool was an added bonus as were the sauna and steam room. Will def stay there again when visiting Durham.
