Great hotel for short trips to Vilnius We stayed at the hotel in April 2026 with my mom. Very positive experience. · Service: very polite and responsive staff — both at the reception and in the restaurant. · Cleanliness: the room was clean and tidy. · Wi-Fi: worked well in the room and throughout the hotel. · Breakfast: tasty food, fresh products, good selection. We especially liked the salads and fresh cottage cheese. · Location: excellent — just a couple of minutes from the train and bus station, about an 8-minute walk to the historic center. There’s a grocery store 2 minutes away. · Facilities: luggage storage is available — very convenient if you arrive early or leave late. We will definitely come back — the hotel is perfect for our short trips. Highly recommended.

It was slightly away from the streets, very quiet, breakfast was good and staff were friendly. The bus 3G to the airport was just at its doorstep. Super convenient. This is not at the old town, it is a bit far from the old town but I enjoy walking so it was ok.

Die Lage? Einfach unschlagbar. Wer zentral wohnen will, ist hier goldrichtig – direkt an der Kathedrale, mit perfekter Anbindung an alle Sehenswürdigkeiten. Vom Flughafen kommt man bequem mit dem Bus in die Stadt, und ab da ist alles Wichtige in Laufweite. Verschiedene Bushaltestellen sind 5–10 Minuten entfernt, aber oft braucht man sie gar nicht – man ist quasi mitten im Geschehen. Gerade für Alleinreisende ist das perfekt: Man kann jederzeit mal zurück ins Hotel, sich frisch machen, kurz ausruhen, umziehen. Diese Flexibilität ist Gold wert. Der Check-in läuft etwas anders als gewohnt: kein klassischer Empfang, sondern ein Info-Schalter, an dem eine Person am Laptop sitzt. Man nennt seinen Namen, trägt E-Mail und Telefonnummer ein und bekommt dann per Mail zwei Codes – einen fürs Zimmer, einen für den Haupteingang abends. Das klappt unkompliziert und ist ziemlich praktisch, weil man keine Karte braucht, die man verlieren könnte. Anders als bei manchen anderen Bewertungen war dieser „Empfang“ bei mir durchgängig besetzt. Das hat zuverlässig funktioniert – auch spätabends war jemand da. Trotzdem: Etwas mehr Atmosphäre oder Struktur (z. B. ein kleiner Empfangstresen oder wenigstens ein Pult) würden dem ersten Eindruck guttun. Was in der Mail fehlt: ein kurzer Hinweis zum Check-out-Prozedere. Die Zeit wird genannt, aber wie genau man auscheckt, bleibt unklar. Gerade bei einem Hotel ohne klassische Rezeption wäre das hilfreich. Das Zimmer: sichtbar in die Jahre gekommen, aber zweckmäßig. Für mich als Alleinreisender war die Größe absolut ausreichend. Es gibt genug Ablageflächen, die Klimaanlage funktioniert, das WLAN ist stabil und zuverlässig, und im Bad hängt ein großer Spiegel. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Ich hatte einen Silberfisch im Badezimmer – kein Drama, aber eben auch nicht optimal. Der kleine Fernseher machte anfangs keine Anstalten zu funktionieren, tat es dann aber doch. Mein persönliches Highlight: Zimmer im vierten Stock mit kleinem Balkon und direktem Blick auf die Kathedrale – ein echter Glücksgriff und in dieser Stadt eine Rarität. Das Frühstück hat mich zunächst sehr positiv überrascht: super Auswahl, geschmacklich wirklich gut, und der Frühstücksraum bietet eine fantastische Aussicht auf den Kathedralenplatz – besonders schön, wenn es nicht zu voll ist. Aber genau da liegt auch der Zwiespalt: An meinem zweiten Morgen war der Raum deutlich voller, Teile des Buffets schon leer, und das Abräumen der Tische klappte nur schleppend. Auch wäre es wünschenswert, wenn unter der Woche das Frühstück bis 11 Uhr möglich wäre. Trotzdem bleibt das Frühstück für mich ein Pluspunkt – wenn man früh genug da ist, ist es sogar ein echtes Highlight. Was man unbedingt wissen sollte: Es ist laut. Die Kirchenglocken hört man auch nachts (wobei man sich über sowas natürlich nicht wundern darf, wenn man direkt neben der wichtigsten Kirche des Landes übernachtet). Tagsüber kommen dann Geräusche vom Flur und angrenzenden Zimmern dazu – sei es von anderen Gästen oder vom Reinigungspersonal. Am zweiten Morgen wurde ich unsanft durch den Wecker meines Zimmernachbarn geweckt – er selbst offenbar nicht. Erst nach zweimaligem Klopfen an die Wand war Ruhe. Wer empfindlich ist, sollte definitiv Ohrenstöpsel einpacken.

Really beautiful interior's, amazing views of the city on the higher floors, was easy to get to - I took the 3g bus from outside the airport 10-15 mins later I could see hotel from across the river. Could easily walk to most places from the hotel but there was bus stop stop nearby that made it great and easy to get around. Staff were really friendly and helpful, very professional, high quality breakfast service.

С одной стороны, вестибюль и ресторан действительно радуют глаз: они новые, стильные и создают приятную атмосферу. Особенно понравился завтрак, который был разнообразным и вкусным. Однако номера, к сожалению, немного подуставшие. Ощущается, что им не помешал бы небольшой ремонт или обновление. Также стоит отметить, что в номере было довольно жарко, и кондиционер невозможно было включить самостоятельно, в нем был установлен таймер. В целом, отель Congress — это неплохой выбор для остановки в Вильнюсе, особенно если вы планируете проводить много времени вне номера.

Mi sono fermata per una notte. Buona colazione. Stanza un po' fresca, avrei preferito la temperatura più alta di uno /due gradi. Dispenser sapone nella doccia era vuoto. Non è stato controllato dallo staff della pulizia che è importante. Per il resto andava bene

В этом отеле я останавливаюсь не раз. Завтрак хороший, выбор есть. Номера простые , но большего не надо . Чайник есть, ооочень это удобно. Напротив Lidl- особое удобство . Я очень довольна и вернусь вновь. От а/п близко, цена такси 6-8 евро . Рекомендую!

I stayed only one night, and walked from the airport to the hotel. I would say that the distance is walkable but not convenient with luggage. The reason is that the pavement is not smooth, and will result in abrasions and damage to your luggage wheels for the distance that you have to drag it along. For the hotel itself, it had a very high ceiling and industrial vibes, which is nice to some and perhaps not so great to others. However just a note that I couldn't figure out how to get the heating to work. Wifi speed was good, though there is a bit of a weird limitation in that some services like steam did not work, which isnt a problem for most.
