By far the nicest room I stayed in, Bed was very comfortable, Room was very quiet, clean and well equipped. Excellent value for money. What really elevated the experience was the wonderful staff who were all incredibly helpful and welcoming. A little far out from the city centre but easy to access on the metro, the area is very peaceful with great restaurants nearby. Genuine 5 star review from me I was very satisfied with the stay.
This is a decent hotel located right by the riverside and near two mountain parks, including Maanshan, as well as two bridges. My room was spacious, clean and attractive. The only issue was that the shower head handle and the bathroom light switch were loose. I got free breakfast and night snack coupons and the food selections, while not amazing, are decent. The restaurant is also large and clean. There is also a laundromat and a free gym.
ผผู้เข้าพักAlthough property is bit old and not well maintained, room size was exceptionally huge with huge bathroom and jacuzzi, which wasn't working thiugh. Location was excellent near river, we could see river right at doorstep of balcony and veranda. It's close to city center and near Elephant mountain, getting around was easy.
Breakfast was decent(3.5/5) and It's antique place(4/5) , not bad with price offered and location (5/5) ,if you can compromise on cleanliness (3/5) and maintenance (3/5)
ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel advertises as having an all-year-round open pool and it's not true. During our stay at the end of April with maximum temperatures above 30°C there was no pool to cool off, and the staff told us it was because it was still too early in the year. This was very disappointing as having a pool was the main reason for our choice of hotel, so I'd say this hotel didn't meet our expectations and they should state this clearly on Trip to avoid future confusion of guests. Other things to improve are the storage space in the rooms (there's barely any room to place suitcases etc) and the soundproofing (we were woken up several days by loud guests at 7am or earlier). On the positive side, the beds were comfortable (average hardness of mattress for westerners standards) and the shower was the best we've had in our whole trip through China: very modern, with good water pressure and no fluctuating temperature. The room thermostat worked really well and the hotel has some nice amenities for guests to use such as tea, massage chairs (a bit worn out but still working) and a vintage game console. The staff helped us with luggage, gave us information and even a small present at the end of our stay, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel is in a quieter part of town, ideal for sleeping but still close enough to streets with lots of restaurants, cafes etc (try Heytea in west street if you can!).
Overall it's been good value for money, although the hotel could do some clean up/refurbishment work and the pool availability should be advertised accurately.
