Our second stay at the outback lodge was just as good as the first. The amenities are all great and we really like the outdoor bbq area which was a good way to spend the evening. Very good overal
Stayed 2 nights in May 2026. Location is walking distance to supermarket plus F&B places. Room is clean n breakfast provided is continental which suffice for me. It starts at 5.30am which facilitates having a quick breakfast before you get picked up for day tours to Litchfield Nature Reserve or equivalent. The pick up times are around 545 to 6am. Service staff are friendly n helpful. There is a small pool good only for dipping.
It was okay. The lift is working well which is a big plus. It was a bit noisy in the night as there is loud music outside on the deck and drunk ppl screaming at night on their ways back to the rooms.
The hotel itself is a bit old and not very clean. The thing makes me surprised is the restaurant which offer excellent food and is even better than the restaurant that I had in other big cities. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner and all high-rated
Best location near Esplanate , and easy access to downtown with walking distance. We enjoyed the best sunset view here. Bike and scooter rental service (Beam) can't reach out here and this was challenging when we tried to return.
Perfect for what I needed... a one night stop over to visit the Kangaroo Sanctuary!
Staff were polite and friendly. Check in and out with seamless. Had the best night's sleep in good quality and spotlessly clean bedding.
Ate dinner in the restaurant, too, which was reasonably priced.
Its ok. A bit strange service from one of the receptionists, the only treadmill was out of order and bring your sunglasses because the light in the room is brighter than anywhere in the world (no soft light is present in the room).
Breakfast was a la carte (maximized budget) and no fresh juices.
Besides that it a nice suite with great balcony and pretty much most things you need.
I stayed 5 nights, I didn’t like the room in 4th floor at the start (as I requested a higher floor room and quiet room, but I got a room next to the elevator) the TV wasn’t facing the bed. I then changed to another room in 8th floor, room was great but the shower room door couldn’t be closed so the water was everywhere and it wouldn’t dry; also cleaner told me cuz it was public holiday they are not able to change my sheets.
The last night I stayed, fire alarm went off at 4am everyone went to the lobby, it was a false alarm but I got very scared.
RRip RipWas expecting more given the price we paid, apparently already considered low season.
The pool lagoon was disappointing and expected higher standards, more staff and cleanliness.
Hotel restaurant food expensive unless ******** and apparently would have great discount.
Room service was good and value for money.
Expected small amenities like free bottled water to be more generous given the heat. Apparently just 2 bottles per check in although we stayed 2 nights .
Bathroom and toiletries reasonable although bathroom door had a drum which made it inconvenient to open as door swung closed automatically ..
ผผู้เข้าพักThe cabins are excellent, spacious with a vaulted wooden ceiling, comfy bed, good shower and spotlessly clean. It is quiet and 20-25 mins walk from the centre of Alice Springs. The reception staff were very helpful and there is a locked room for luggage storage.
ผผู้เข้าพักPerfect hotel location for our needs since it is very close to the airport and the Marrara sport complex (10-15 min walk) in which our event took place. What we love most: very clean hotel room, convenient park ing spot right in front of our unit at an extra cost, great pool facility and some restaurant and coffee shop option on site. The room we booked was really spacious. We had a very pleasant stay.
HHuzaifa EssajeeI was travelling with friends and this was the only suitable option in the summer if you wanted to hike Kings Canyon as Kings Creek was closed. There is a kitchen with a fridge and freezer where you can store your food, with kitchen equipment available for hire from reception. It's nice to cool off and relax in the swimming pool after a long drive from Alice Springs. You'll be able to see a bunch of wildlife if it's nice and quiet. We could see the Field of Lights from outside our room which was an added bonus. Showers are comfortable, however they could provide soap like other places to make it convenient. Check-in and check-out was smooth. Fuel is cheaper here than other fuel stations enroute so it's best to top up before you leave to avoid being stranded. I'd happily stay here again in the height of summer as it's a good rest point.
ผผู้เข้าพักBest features: we had a ground floor unit. So we had a door out to the garden. The bathroom was clean and medium size. Beds perfect. Space-not cramped. Room additions fine for making your own breakfast microwave and fridge included also a table and chairs outside on concrete great for washing dishes. The hotel is located away from passing traffic. Air con and fan worked well..
Downside: if you’re staying a while and want to go shopping you have to get to Casuarina shops to get a local bus to city centre. Otherwise it’s approx 30min drive.
Casuarina Is an air-conditioned Westfield type shopping mall. We liked it and would stay again
Didn’t get s chance to try the restaurant and pool but the menu look good a pond seemed welcoming.
