SSpanish LatteMy family and I had a splendid stay here in Marriott Hotel Downtown Abu Dhabi. We were greeted with beautiful smiles, not on our 1st day only, but every single day. Their warmth and hospitality tells you, you're coming back here again! Special shout out to Syeda from our breakfast and Tere too. They were simply amazing people who made our holiday even special. They would help in every way they could to make our experience amazing. The hotel management even gave us the space to wash up after our desert stay! That was such a help as it meant a lot to my family since my parents, who are quite elderly, needed a comfortable space to freshen themselves! Ouh wells, they're not as adventurous as us😉 On our last day, the breakfast team even presented a full chocolate cake to us. It was such a heart-warming moment.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe had a very enjoyable stay. Upgrade the room for better track view and got the room at 9am. The breakfast is superb. The location is so convenient and close to all the attractions. Highly recommended.
KKazzy travelerConrad- stayed for two nights in Feb as part of our wonderful UAE holiday. I originally booked a king studio with sea view via a trip.com ”partner” deal. Worried that it might be a scam I tried to contact the hotel directly and through trip messages. It took several emails to the hotel, and over a week, for the hotel to confirm it was a real booking. I asked for a high floor if possible. On arrival we were upgraded to a huge two bedroom, two full bathroom apartment on the 10th floor of the 62(?) floor east residences bldg. Check in was reasonably quick. There are three separate buildings with the tallest having 74 floors. It can be challenging navigating to your room as the lift buttons have odd names and wait times for the slow lifts can be long. We also had to transfer lifts to reach our floor. The beautiful, east facing corner apartment was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and very quiet. It had excellent electric blockout curtains and sound proof double glazing. My only negatives with the apartment were the faulty Bose sound system in the lounge room, the low water pressure in the apartment and the really bright sensor activated ”night” lights that come on when you enter the bathrooms in the dead of night. We we also surprised that the toilet seats were not soft-close. We loved the huge international buffet breakfasts but they can be really noisy and busy. Having Billy, the Harris Hawke, and his friendly handler on patrol to keep sparrows from stealing unattended food on the restaurant balcony was very special. Free access to the observation deck was a nice bonus. We would easily stay again.

Our Room was impeccable. In the morning, we decided to have a light breakfast at ”The Lounge”: we ordered, among coffee and other items, a smoked salmon bagel, which was delicious and served by our host Osman, whose demanour, knowledge, and overall attitude and customer engagement was outstanding - six stars for him! One word about the smoked salmon bagel: as a bagel connoisseur, and despite the dish's excellent taste and presentation, I'd like to note that the dough used for the bagel is not the typical stiff, high protein, yeasted dogh normally used when baking bagels. I recommend to use the correct dough in the future, slightly toast the bagel before serving, and also add a bit more cream cheese as well as a sprig or two of dill - otherwise, the dish was top notch, and as I already mentioned, the service was exceptional!
ผผู้เข้าพักWe booked through the Trip website and were offered a great deal.
The hotel did not meet my expectations, despite being one of the most expensive hotels on Yas Island, affiliated with Hilton, and located in the capital of the UAE, Abu Dhabi. Although the room design was beautiful and the hotel opened in 2018, we encountered several issues.
First, the bathroom had multiple problems, as shown in the attached photos. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, and there was dust on the shelves and tables. Additionally, the receptionist, an Egyptian employee whose name I do not recall exactly (I believe it was Kirillos), was not as welcoming or courteous as the other staff members.
Karolos offered us a free upgrade to a room with a bunk bed for children, rather than a room with better size or view as one might expect. The room was not in good condition, and we even found leftover chips in the upper bunk bed. He also tried to convince us to take a suite for an additional charge, which was not something we wanted to discuss after a long flight. Moreover, no welcome gesture was offered to us or our child.
On a positive note, the breakfast staff were exceptionally attentive and provided outstanding service with great kindness.
However, I will not repeat this experience, as the price paid does not reflect the level of service or comfort provided.
RRicky_CThe Emirate Palace Mandarin Oriental Hotel in the Abu Dhabi is the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in. I want to take pictures of every detail 😅. The bed and pillows are just right – nice and firm for me, while the bathrobe is super soft. The service at this so-called 8-star hotel is truly excellent. On the day of check-in, I didn't pick up my room, but I could still use the hotel facilities. The staff are very attentive; they even brought me a towel at the beach because they were worried I might feel cold. The Mandarin Oriental really guarantees a great experience. It’s much better than the Burj Al Arab. The beach is beautiful, the night views are stunning, but just touring the hotel took a long time 😂. The gold-flaked coffee is really just for the Instagram post; it’s nothing special. The breakfast is outstanding with a wide variety.
ผผู้เข้าพักBeautiful internally the hotel comprises of different ample sitting areas and small cafes scattered around the hotel. The bath had a crack in it and the shower wasn't great.
The staff all around the hotel were great and courteous. The resort is great but a bit far from the hotel and to walk in the sim is difficult, i think an overpass would be better and convenient. Ps the Zipline activity is never available when I have tried to book it the last year or so. Lazy river is really lazy so keep that in mind lol. Generally it's an okay resort could do with an update to trip.com advertising with new pictures etc.
