NNanookleskimoThe house is easy to find thanks to the neon sign, it is peaceful and located 15 min away by walking from the shopping and restaurants area. It's an old traditional house very well maintained with a beautiful Korean garden in the midst of a scooter repair shop neighborhood, which makes it quiet at night. The rooms have AC and have beautiful wooden panels. The bedding is comfortable with a double futon. The pillows are a bit too hard though on the neck. The bathroom is clean. They provide shampoo and soap amenities. Coffee and tea you can help yourself with in the shared kitchen. The owners work quite hard to make it welcoming and were helpful in providing touristic information about the city. We had a wonderful stay and recommend it to any families looking for a soothing and peaceful stay in a traditional yet modern setting.

The hotel is in an excellent location for taking the Express Bus to access sightseeing points outside the city, while also being convenient for exploring the city and shopping areas by Metro. Eastern Hotel meets tourist hotel standards; my room with two beds was huge, spacious, clean, and tidy. The air conditioning was just right for the cold weather. I was surprised to find a Samsung Digital Inverter Washing Machine, which allowed us to dry-clean our down and wool jackets after a whole day out in the countryside. Overall, the hotel is friendly for non-Korean-speaking tourists. Highly recommended.
AAngela KatreenaThe location of this apartment is excellent and incredibly convenient. It's right near the subway station, with countless cafes, restaurants, a mall, and attractions within easy walking distance. The room itself is comfortable and feels like home, equipped with useful appliances like a microwave, washing machine, and dryer.
However, the major issue is security. We had an alarming incident where someone tried to lock our door from the outside while we were inside. This raises serious concerns about safety, especially for solo travelers. While we enjoyed the comfort of the space, this incident was very unsettling and needs to be addressed immediately.
ผผู้เข้าพักI gave 1 extra star because the man at the desk kept my bag safe when it needed to be. So he did the job well. Otherwise, zero stars will be given for the service of the old lady at the desk. She was unfriendly and insulting!!! First, she doesn't speak English, so she should use a translator to communicate with the customers. Instead, she started talking in an unfriendly way in Korean when she knew I couldn’t speak Korean.
Second, because I don't understand and she doesn't understand me, I have to ask my Korean friend to talk with her. She is still not friendly. And not try to understand for me, because I don't know what my friend and her were talking about. So she showed me that she got annoyed with my misunderstanding of her.
Third, and the most horrible of all. She was very rude the next day. I came to her desk, because I needed something. I have just shown my face and wanna say hi, with a friendly look at her. But she started to behave rudely right away before I could say hi. By saying something loudly in Korea and weirdly using both hands and looking angry. So I felt very uninvited to ask something. So I go away from her. Back to my room. I found my stuff (toothbrush and other things of mine) that I forgot in the other room. That I forgot to take with me, on the floor!!!!!! The worst there is a desk for face washing next to the door. So she could put it in there. It's so onhygien with my toothbrush without a cover put on the floor. I have never gotten that horrible service before. Even when I go the a very cheap hostel!
I was in a good mood to discover this city. And these are bad memories I got from her. She has just ruined my good mood for the holiday there. My friends suggested that I go to this Motel. Now my friends know how stupid this service I got from this lady. They won't come anymore in the future!
If the old lady doesn’t like foreigners then she shouldn't work there. So it won’t ruin someone's holiday. I hope the manager of their company does something with the service that the lady gave to the customer. I don’t complain usually. But this is unacceptable! I am planning to go regularly to Daegu because my friend lives there. This motel is in a perfect location for me. But now I would rather go to a hotel that is far away than this Motel. So you have just lost 1 regular customer because of this stupid service. I am still angry if I think about this service with my toothbrush on the floor.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel was good enough for one night. However, the check in process was quite difficult for a foreigner who doesn't speak any Korean, so make sure you have your translation apps handy!
The room itself smelled a bit like cigarettes. I'm not sure if I accidentally booked a smoking room, but I assume I didn't since my reservation didn't say as such.
There was also no natural light in the room. While there was a window, it was covered in some kind of plastic film. The hallway was also completely dark.
The bathroom and toilet were excellent, and so was the little bag of amenities offered.
Bed was clean and comfortable.
Good enough for a one night stay, but wouldn't come again!
