The hotel has an excellent location — it’s close to the beach, tourist infrastructure, and places for walking, but at the same time not in the very center, so the hotel grounds are quiet and peaceful. The room itself is a spacious apartment with a large living room-kitchen, two separate bedrooms, and two bathrooms (each with a shower and toilet). It was very convenient to have two showers in the room (actually, there are two showers and one bathtub, but we didn’t use the tub). Because of the hot tropical climate (it stays warm even at night) and the salty sea, everyone wants to take a shower one or two times a day. Having two showers meant no one had to wait. Hot water was provided by boilers with a sufficient reserve, so we never had to save water or wait for it to heat up. It was also very convenient to have a personal washing machine and a place to dry clothes in the room, since in this climate you need to wash things more often. All doorways have screened doors with latches, which allow constant ventilation without letting mosquitoes in. There is also a built-in air conditioning system, but we preferred to ventilate with fresh air. The beds in the rooms are comfortable and of good quality. There is plenty of storage space for clothes, as well as bedside tables. There are enough surfaces in the room where you can set up a laptop and work if needed. The room has universal sockets that work with both Chinese plugs and European plugs, and the Wi-Fi, as far as I could tell, provides access to the global internet without a VPN. The kitchen has a large refrigerator — very convenient for storing fruits, coconuts, and food, especially when planning a long day trip to attractions the next day. There is also a gas stove in case you want to cook something familiar. Although the local cuisine is very tasty, sometimes you crave more familiar food. The kitchen has a large table and the basic necessary dishes and utensils. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped and make for a pleasant short walk if you wake up earlier than the others. I would especially like to thank the staff. In particular, a very attentive and responsive woman. There were no issues at all with late check-in. She was always very kind and friendly, always available, and ready to help with any questions.

However, we were not aware that the activities we wanted—like swimming in the ocean or taking a short, affordable yacht trip—were much farther away. You cannot swim in the ocean anywhere near Kamei or Atlantis due to safety restrictions. 🌊 Plan Your Activities Wisely If ocean time is important to you, plan ahead: • Head to Wuzhizhou Island for diving and proper beach activities • Look for yacht trips or water sports in other parts of Sanya • Enjoy the hotel pools and walking areas nearby instead of expecting a beach experience 📝 Final Thoughts Kamei Hotel is a solid, practical base for travelers who want comfort and convenience near Atlantis without the premium price tag. It has quirks—slow elevators, distant ocean activities, and a maze‑like parking garage—but with the right expectations, it offers good value and a relaxed atmosphere.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The best part is the location. You are on a main road with many shops, restaurants and bus stops as well as the beach. I also liked the pool despite it being a little too shallow. The view from my balcony was also great. One problem was cleanliness. Never walk around the room barefoot cause your feet will get dirty. It also looked like the crockery and kitchen utensils were not cleaned before I arrived. As you can see some of the utensils were dusty! Hot water was another issue. Obviously you need hot water to properly wash your hands and dirty dishes. However I only had hot water in the shower, not in the kitchen nor bathroom sink. This leads to my next issue which is service. I told the staff about the lack of hot water on the Friday and they said they would fix it at some point during the day while I am out with my friend. I come back at roughly 9pm to find out there is still no hot water. On Saturday morning I remind them to fix it before I go out again, hoping when I return I will have hot water. While I'm at the beach I miss a call from them. Turns out instead of fixing the issue, they want to move me to another room with hot water. When I return from the beach I saw the message and told them I am ready to move to the new room. But they replied saying I was too late and they gave the room to someone else. (If I did take that room, does that mean the other guest would have my room and have to suffer with cold water instead of me?) Instead of taking responsibility for not providing hot water or trying to fix it, the staff tried to blame me and said I can't get hot water cause I was too busy to answer their calls. When I pushed back on that comment their next excuse was that a lack of hot water is a common problem in Hainan? But then they said they would check if there was a free room with hot water the next day (Sunday). However, they never contacted me about that again so I just gave up trying. If they couldn't fix the problem, they could have at least offered me compensation but they didn't. This experience made me feel dismissed and unimportant as a paying guest. To sum up, I wouldn't stay here again based on my experience. If they were to give me a room with hot water in the shower AND in both sinks, that's great. However, I would still have to deal with dirty floors and cookware + tableware. It's definitely not the worst place I've stayed in but regardless it didn't meet my standards so I still wouldn't stay here if I return to Sanya. Disappointing.

По приезду нас сразу встретили у входа и проводили до апартаментов. Вообще на протяжении всего отпуска, если у вас есть WeChat, можно писать свои вопросы и пожелания стафу отеля, лично нас отвечали почти сразу же. Сами апартамента шикарные, у нас открывался вид на бассейн ( в котором очень классно плавать ) и небольшое озеро, внутренняя территория очень красивая и живописная. Каждый день у нас убирались, выбрасывали мусор, меняли полотенца и приносили воду- считайте отельные условия. До пляжа мы ходили один раз пешком- довольно быстрым шагом вышло 40 минут. Гораздо лучше прокатиться на такси, его легко вызвать и стоит всего лишь 8 юаней. Очень недалеко находится красивый национальный парк, советую сходить. Одним словом за такие небольшие деньги мы получили условия дорого отеля, если будет возможность вернусь сюда еще!

I was suprisingly positive about friendlies of staff. Doesn't expected that free taxi to airport drop off. Many thanks to the staff and owner of the hotel. I specially decided to stopover during tranzit due to the access to the rooftop with airport view and plane spotting. Recommendations to all aviation lover and short stop during tranzit. Airport 5 minutes drive.

Администратор отеля очень хороший парень , меняли белье по запросу , сразу , Но номер я выбрала номер не очень удачный , окно в коридор оно реально было в коридор , ни когда с таким не сталкивалась , но админ поменял номер на такой же маленький, но с окном , было конечно шумно очень , но расположение отличное море близко 2 мин , бассейн платный 20 ю, ребенок 10ю
