"Everything was going well until I had to deal with one of the hotel's receptionists during the evening shift. When I asked for a replacement room key because I had accidentally left mine in my room, she was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional.
I first tried to get a new key using the self-service kiosk, but it didn't work. I then asked for her assistance, and she reacted rudely from the start. She walked away, visibly annoyed, and returned to the reception desk. I followed her and provided all the necessary information, including a copy of my passport and my reservation, which was under my name. Despite having all the information, she kept asking me the same questions I had already answered several times and repeatedly told me, in a condescending and abrupt tone, that she couldn't find my reservation.
Her attitude was completely unprofessional and extremely impolite. This experience completely changed my impression of the hotel. Customer service is my top priority, and unfortunately, this hotel failed to provide even a basic level of courtesy and professionalism. For that reason, I would not recommend this hotel."
"The hotel is in an accessible location with shops and restaurants within walking distance. The staff was attentive to our needs, and the breakfast options and drink station were decent. However the elevator should be fixed as soon as possible, as it was inconvenient during our stay."
"I recently stayed at this hotel and while it had some redeeming qualities, my overall experience left a lot to be desired. Here's a breakdown of my stay:
Pros
1. **Affordable Price**: The room rates were budget-friendly, making it suitable for travelers looking for a cost-effective option.
2. **Staff**: The staff was polite and tried to be helpful, though they seemed understaffed at times.
Cons
1. **Amenities**: Basic amenities like toiletries, fresh towels, and a working air conditioner felt subpar. The Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected.
2. **Noise**: The walls were thin, and I could easily hear people talking and walking in the hallways, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep.
Overall Experience:
It might be a decent option for someone on a tight budget and just to stay for one night, but I would recommend spending a little more to stay somewhere with better facilities."
"This hotel is a little older than we have experienced with other Double Tree hotels. Could use some updating. The escalators were not working from the garage. And there is no elevators. So climbing the two stories of dead escalators was no fun. No need to hit the gym. No water bottles in the rooms. Quality of room coffee is super poor. Service was very good. Location is good. Entering the garage is a nightmare. Very complicated."
