Villa Grassina is that place you've seen in movies set in Tuscany. The good ones. Up a ridiculously steep winding road, through dense trees and a field of olive trees, you find a rustic mansion overlooking the valley. The beds are not the softest, nor the showers the biggest, but the place has soul and is unquestionably worth the trip. The grounds are well kept and the buildings remarkable, preserving a heritage dating back to the 1100's. And they've added a sizeable pool area for mid-day relaxation as well. Thus, you don't really have to leave at all during your stay. We went there for a wedding, but it would do equally well for a couples getaway. The food is local and top grade, so is the wine. The view is fantastic, especially during sunset, and all the staff are super friendly and helpful. The village Pelago is also only a couple of minutes drive away, and among other things boasts a bus connection, a grocery store and a quality Bistro should you desire take-away. I will recommend Villa Grassina to anyone visiting Tuscany for a romantic holiday. If I return to that neck of the woods I know where I'll be staying.

Absolutely fabulous location! Authentic rustic Tuscan feel and very relaxing. Valentina and her staff made you feel welcome from the start, giving a homely feel with a laid back atmoshere. With a swimming pool and tennis court, there is plenty to keep the kids occupied. We also enjoyed the treks in the hills behind the villa. We were sad to leave at the end of the holiday.

La villa è veramente bella, la gestione impeccabile, gentilezza cortesia e disponibilità per qualsiasi cosa. Gli appartamenti sono belli e adatti per passare un weekend fuori in più persone. Posizione fantastica per visitare Firenze. Sicuramente torneremo.

Antica villa tra le colline toscane a mezz'ora da Firenze. Proprietari e dipendenti molto gentili, ristorante buonissimo e a buon prezzo. Ampio spazio verde con piscina, giochi per bambini e campo da tennis. Gli appartamenti sono arredati in stile antico. Possibilità di fare colazione pagando solo quello che si prende.

Séjour au top pour le Grand prix d'Italie ! Accueil excellent, cadre authentique tout a été parfait. Nous conseillons ce lieu sans aucune hésitation 😊 Les paysages sont magnifiques, la piscine vraiment agréable, les gites sont grands et propres, le parc est superbe, le restaurant vraiment parfait 👍 nous vous conseillons vraiment cet endroit !

Purtroppo non ho avuto una buona esperienza in questa struttura. Mi dispiace perché il luogo merita tantissimo.Immersi nel verde in questa struttura storica dov’è si fa un tuffo nel passato lontano da tutto. Certo però siamo nel 2023 e quando paghi una vacanza non ti aspetti un appartamento che all’arrivo puzza di chiuso ed era pure freddo,il riscaldamento non l’hanno mai acceso.Camere da letto da raggiungere con una rampa di scale che se avete bevuto un bicchiere di vino in più è facile cadere,in pratica è una soffitta con un lettoe se si soggiorna in giornate di freddo e pioggia la finestra di spalanca all’improvviso facendovi sobbalzare dal letto.Il bagno era veramente brutto e la biancheria e le coperte in dotazione più che antiche direi datate neanche fossero storiche pure quelle .Il divano nel soggiorno era un letto chiuso quindi non aveva lo schienale e comunque avevo schifo a sedermi. Ciliegina sulla torta appartamento invasato dalle cimici sia morte che vive che sbucavano da ogni angolo con contorno di scortesia da parte dei proprietari al nostro appunto. A parole loro la disinfestazione era stata fatta ed eravamo noi esagerati.Direi che se avevano deciso di farla qualche problema c’era. Sconsigliato
