The hotel is geared only to Russian guests. At the reception they can only say a few words in English. The hotel service, although only Russian speaks it, is very nice and helpful! Restaurant food poor and repetitive, only soups very good. All animations for guests and children only in Russian or in sign language. 95% of all markings are also in Russian. The behavior of most of the Russian guests leaves much to be desired. When you go to breakfast, you can see 80% of the sunbeds occupied by towels, and during the day all sunbeds are occupied in this way.

This is the first time I have experienced something like this. The story began when my partner and I decided to skip breakfast and rest after a tour. It was around 10 o'clock. I went to the bathroom and heard someone swiping a card on the door's card reader. I thought it was the cleaner, so I put up the ”do not disturb” sign and went back to sleep. About an hour passed. We had the door locked with a latch, and suddenly the door flew open along with the door frame. A lady barged in and shouted, ”WHERE ARE MY THINGS, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!” Dealing with that woman was a whole separate story, but to summarize: it turned out she was moving from one room to another and forgot that she was not in room 612 (our room). She told the receptionist room 612, and THEY JUST GAVE HER A CARD! We tried to explain to the administrator that it is not normal to hand out room keys based solely on someone's word. I said to the administrator, ”So, if anyone comes up to you and tells you my room number, you would give them a card?” To which this unpleasant individual clearly and firmly replied, ”Yes.” After that, we asked for this manager to be called because it was not just unpleasant that this woman broke the door, but also that the administration not only failed to apologize but also acted rudely. In response, the administrator at the reception said, ”I am the one in charge here. If you don't like it, there's the door, you can leave.” Overall, if it weren't for the negligence and rudeness of the administrator (who, of course, doesn't wear a badge and apparently prefers anonymity in their statements), this would have turned into a funny vacation story. But it was precisely the way they responded to us and ”helped” that ruined the whole impression of ”customer care.” If you plan to stay at this hotel, everything will be fine until an unforeseen incident occurs, which the administration simply couldn't care less about. This hotel is beautiful and we were staying in a nice suite 405, it had a gorgeous big Jacuzzi tub and Sauna (We didn't need a sauna in July, just had to sit outside) There are 3 pools, one indoor, the main outdoor pool, and a smaller pool with slides. It's located high on a hill which means that the views are amazing. The reception staff were truly lovely, especially a brown-haired lady that couldn't do enough. We also had a very nice Waiter called Pedra who did his best to speak English to us and really looked after us on our stay. There are some cats that stray in looking for food which made my son's holiday. The hotel also provides a shuttle to and from the beach daily and there's dedicated seating for hotel guests on the beach. Some improvement points on this hotel, the pools are not ideal for smaller children, while there is a small paddling pool for the real smallies my 5 year old was struggling to play comfortably in the pools as the main pool only has a very short shallow end and he couldn't stand at all in the pool with slides which meant that he had to be held at all times in the water and couldn't play. Also I was expecting a kids club, games room and ice skating, all of which were closed for the full duration of our 2 week stay, this meant that there was very little for him aside from the pool. There is no place to buy snacks such as fruit, crisps, chocolate or anything for pool activities like floats snorkles etc. There is a market at the bottom of the hill where you can buy all of these things however, the hill is EXTREMELY steep and torture to walk up in the heat. I did find out on our last night that if you go to a diff gate you can ring for someone to collect you from the driveway. There's no bar area to sit and relax in in the evenings but again you can go into town quite easily. I didn't to experience the spa as I was traveling alone with my 5yr old but it did look amazing. Overall I'd recommend it to couples and older children but not so much for young children.
