"The hotel is decent, though I’d say it’s a 3-star property rather than a 5-star one. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast at all. The rooms are spacious; we booked a family suite and were told it included two large beds and two small ones, but we were disappointed to find only one large bed and two small ones. As for the reception staff, some were helpful while others were not—they lacked a friendly demeanor."
"Staying at The Wings Hotel in Istanbul was overall a very pleasant experience. One thing I really liked about the hotel was how spacious and comfortable the room was. Compared to many city hotels, the room felt large, cosy, and relaxing after a full day of exploring Istanbul. The interior design was modern yet comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt welcoming.
The location was also quite convenient, with many restaurants, cafes, and attractions within walking distance. It made getting around the city relatively easy and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay as well, which added positively to the overall experience.
One thing visitors should take note of though is that the hotel is located on a very steep slope. Walking up and down the hill daily can be quite tiring, especially for elderly travellers or anyone with heavy luggage. While it was manageable for us, it is definitely something worth considering before booking.
Other than the steep uphill walk, everything else about the stay was very enjoyable. The spacious rooms, comfortable environment, and good location made it a nice place to stay while visiting Istanbul."
