The room was great and very spacious. The staff were also courteous and helpful. One thing however, was that I was billed twice. Although it was my mistake that I forgot that I paid online initially, but they still asked me for payment upon check in, which again, I totally forgot that I paid online. They said there was something wrong with their billing department. Anyway, had a good time. Will definitely visit again.
Location is great and convenient to every famous location.
Lobby is big and artistic. Staff was helpful on all request.
However room is quite old.
Overall the stay was ok. Bit overpriced for the breakfast.
I must commend the hotel for maintaining the highest standards of service over the many years (20) I have been staying there on business. A lot of this is down to the dedication and attention to detail provided by the staff - especially those who have loyally worked in the hotel for years. I want in particular to highlight the personal attention and service that Mr Aslam provides not just to me but to every customer. He is a real ambassador for the hotel. A star!

Nice hotel, each room has separate bedroom, living room and bathroom. AC work well, stuff is friendly and helpful. Some rooms to East Side has bad view, west side is good view. Gym and indoor swimming pool floor B1 is nice. Food is good, just if will be better choice range during longer stay will be perfect. For the time being the food spectre has not wide range and is repeating in 2-3 days same.
Hotel is pretty good but just far from everything. Food to be honest is better than expected. Mohammad Shinas - who manages the breakfast is fantastic, Wonderful service and attention to details. Housekeeping team do a good job and are very attentive. If you want to relax and rest with no crazy outside noise this is the place to be. Thank you.
Hhend AThe staff lacks professionalism in working and solving problems. I travel a lot and have stayed in the largest hotels, but unfortunately the hotel lacks in finding solutions or compensating the guests in any way that satisfies the guest and relies only on his name, but I will definitely not book again.
ผผู้เข้าพักI stayed for 4 days in this hotel as part of quarantine package in the month of feb 22. Amazing room with all digital controlled circuits be it curtains, room lighting, cooling system. Beautiful decorated spacious rooms. Food was better than expected. Being vegetarian, I know my options were going to be very limited but chef really helped me by making veg pastas and falafel sandwich etc. I would like to stay here again, for sure not under quarantine package, to explore more on the available facilities. Here I would like to give special thanks to the reception team (sorry I forgot the name of the lady and the guy on the reception ) who were always ready to helped me and assist at each and every steps during quarantine. A will surely stay again in this hotel.
The Aluya Hotel is situated in the Al Hamra area of Jeddah and a perfect position for getting around both in a taxi or walking. The location is very close to Palestine Street which is full of shops, cafes and restaurants and leads to the middle corniche. As soon as I entered the hotel I was impressed. There was a beautiful aroma in the air and the entrance way and ground floor area well presented. I have to say that a stand out for me about this hotel is definitely the staff. They are all delightful, welcoming and eager to make your stay the best it can be. I would like to thank all the staff but in particular Naif, Nadia, Samar and Ahmed Bin Afif (the owner). They are clearly all working hard to make this hotel the best it can be. The facilities of the hotel are superb. I reserved a deluxe king room and on arrival for one night I was upgraded to the executive suite. What a wonderful treat that was. The hotel thoughtfully provides all the traveller may need. There are nice toiletries, a hairdryer, tea/coffee and water, good air conditioning, entertainment and if required an iron on request. The rooms are exactly like the pictures on the hotel website. The king sized bed was wonderfully comfortable and I was afforded a nice view from the room. My room was at the front of the hotel. Breakfast was included and was served on the 6th floor. The choice was very good. They have traditional breakfast items and then also continental breakfast items. There is plenty of tea and coffee and juice to accompany the breakfast and the restaurant is really pleasant and provides a fantastic view. They also encourage guests to visit this area of the hotel at other times of the day to enjoy tea or coffee. While I was there I was served Saudi Arabian coffee by Hamid. He took the time to explain to me how the coffee was made and it tasted delicious. All in all I cannot recommend this hotel enough. If you are looking for a hotel in a great area, with really nice facilities, at a very reasonable price and that is staffed by wonderful people, look no further than The Aluya.
___Zainab_PThe room was really clean and extremely comfortable, and definitely helped given that we had a long layover.
However, the service is really bad. We had to wait in a queue for about an hour just to get to the reception desk. Apparently it’s always like that so I don’t really understand the value of making reservations ahead of time. They definitely are understaffed. If they can’t hire anyone else then the least they could do is issue out tickets and have enough seating to accommodate guests so that people aren’t frustrated.
Amenities are decent but there’s no dental kit or even a bin in the bathroom.
