Staying at Jiuhuli·Siheyuan Guesthouse (Ancient City Drum Tower Branch) 玖合里·四合院民宿（大同古城华严寺店） was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The location is absolutely unique — being inside the ancient city walls of Datong and staying in a traditional Chinese courtyard house made the entire experience feel authentic and unforgettable. It is much more than just a hotel; it is a cultural experience. The decoration and design are impeccable: elegant, refined, and beautifully done with incredible attention to detail. The rooms are extremely comfortable, with high-quality products, premium facilities, and a very peaceful atmosphere that made us feel at home immediately. What made our stay even more exceptional was the outstanding service. The staff went above and beyond in every possible way. They helped us arrange an excellent private driver at a very reasonable price, which allowed us to enjoy a perfectly smooth and efficient day visiting three major attractions outside the city: the Hanging Temple, the Yungang Grottoes, and the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda. Everything was organized flawlessly, making the trip completely stress-free and enjoyable. Overall, the service was simply amazing from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Datong who wants not only comfort and beauty, but also a genuine and memorable local experience. 入住玖合里·四合院民宿（大同古城华严寺店）是我们这次旅行中最难忘的体验之一。民宿位于大同古城城墙内，住在传统四合院里，让人真正感受到浓厚的历史文化氛围。这不仅仅是一家酒店，更是一种非常地道、特别的文化体验。 整个民宿的装修与设计都无可挑剔，审美非常高级，细节精致优雅，处处体现用心。房间非常舒适，配备的用品和设施品质都很高，环境安静温馨，让人一入住就有宾至如归的感觉。 最值得特别称赞的是这里卓越而贴心的服务。工作人员非常热情专业，真正做到了超出期待。他们还帮我们安排了一位性价比非常高的司机，让我们能够非常顺利、轻松地在一天之内游览大同周边三大景点：悬空寺、云冈石窟和应县木塔。整个行程安排得非常顺畅，让我们完全没有压力，玩得特别开心。 总体来说，这里的服务真的令人惊艳。从住宿环境到服务体验，一切都非常完美。强烈推荐给所有来大同旅行、希望体验传统文化与高品质住宿的游客！

โฮมสเตย์ (บีแอนด์บี) นี้น่าทึ่งมาก! มาจากสหรัฐอเมริกาและไม่สามารถพูดภาษาจีนได้ เราแค่วางแผนที่จะไม่ใช้ประโยชน์จากการเดินทางในโรงแรม โรงแรมนี้ติดต่อเราผ่านการแชทบน Trip และประสานงานการรับส่งเมื่อสองสามวันก่อน ช่วยให้เราใช้แอพแปล รถไฟของเรามาถึงก่อนกําหนดการเช็คอินที่โรงแรมไม่กี่ชั่วโมงก็ไม่เป็นปัญหาเลย การเช็คอินรวดเร็วและเราได้รับสินค้าท้องถิ่นและตะกร้าผลไม้ สิ่งอํานวยความสะดวกในห้องนั้นน่าทึ่งมาก ตัวห้องเองเป็นอิเล็กทรอนิกส์และทันสมัย เครื่องเป่าผมคือ Dyson! เราวางแผนที่จะไปทานอาหารกลางวันพวกเขากรุณาให้เราขี่ฟรี อาหารเช้าก็ยอดเยี่ยมเช่นกันและอาหารท้องถิ่นบางอย่าง สดใหม่ทั้งหมดไม่ใช่บุฟเฟ่ต์ โฮมสเตย์แห่งนี้อบอุ่นและน่าทึ่งมากมันทําให้เราเสียใจที่เราวางแผนไว้เพียงคืนเดียวในต้าถง

Great location, easy to find, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Comfortable and modern room, good breakfast. Great value for money, warmly recommended!

เลือกโรงแรมในเมืองเก่าเป็นพิเศษ บรรยากาศโบราณและเงียบสงบดีมากค่ะ อยู่ในเมืองเก่าก็สะดวก เหนื่อยจากการเที่ยวก็กลับมาพักผ่อนได้ตลอด ชาร์จพลังแล้วไปเดินเล่นและทานอาหารต่อได้เลย อาหารเช้าสะอาดและอร่อย บริการของเจ้าของก็ดีเยี่ยม มีบริการรถรับส่งฟรีให้หนึ่งครั้ง ตอนกลับยังได้น้ำส้มสายชูเป็นของที่ระลึก 2 ขวดด้วยค่ะ จะแนะนำให้เพื่อนๆ มาพักที่นี่แน่นอนค่ะ

ครั้งนี้ฉันพักที่ No. 7 Mansion ซึ่งเกินความคาดหมาย สไตล์การตกแต่งโดยรวมมีระดับและมีสไตล์ คุณภาพของเครื่องนอนดีมาก ความสะดวกสบายสูง ทัศนคติการบริการที่แผนกต้อนรับดี ตอบสนอง และมีผลไม้และกาแฟต้อนรับให้เพลิดเพลิน สถานที่ตั้งอยู่ใกล้กับกําแพงเมืองเหนือซึ่งสะดวกมากในการเล่น มีที่จอดรถเฉพาะในโรงจอดรถใต้ดินและคุณสามารถชาร์จได้ อาหารเช้ามีคุณค่าทางโภชนาการและครบถ้วนและมีสุขภาพดีโดยเฉพาะบะหมี่ที่ตัดด้วยมีดรสชาติดีมาก ความรู้สึกโดยรวมนั้นยอดเยี่ยม

The auntie manning the hotel is very friendly. Although meals are not included in the booking, she still made us welcome fruits & drinks and even breakfast. Also trying to help us with our tours with a local tour guide. The price for the local tour guide is very reasonable.

I can’t stop raving about this inn. It is a B&B style three stories tall inn located inside the Datong Ancient City. Complimentary shuttle service between the airport or railway station made it really convenient for out of town travelers. The guest room was clean and equipped with modern facilities like automatic toilets, coded entry, projection screens, etc. The inn is located near the north gate of the city amongst other accommodations. Within minutes of walking is access to the top of the city wall where bike rental is available to ride along the wall. The inn is very quiet at night. The inn is family operated and everyone was very hospitable. What sets this inn apart from other accommodations in the area is their dedication to service. The owner knew I was a tourist and new to the area, she offered to pick me up if I got lost wandering the ancient city. The breakfast came with my reservation. When the owner found out I had to depart before breakfast serving hours, she went above and beyond to prepare food and served me 30 minutes ahead of schedule. The food tasted amazing and came with abundant varieties and huge portions. It was definitely not part of the service to drop off at another venue, but the owner took me to my next accommodation 2km away. I truly appreciate everything this inn and its staff has done for me. I am so glad to have chosen to stay this beautiful little inn on my first night in Datong. I will definitely stay here again without a doubt on my next visit.

這次到大同旅遊，選擇入住聖雅居民宿，真的是最明智的決定！從預訂到離店，全程體驗無可挑剔。 地理位置： 民宿位置鬧中取靜，去古城牆、華嚴寺、九龍壁等核心景點都非常方便，步行即可到達。周邊生活便利，但又不會過於嘈雜，晚上休息非常安靜。 環境設施： 一進門就被深深吸引！裝修極具特色，完美融合了古典中式美學和現代的舒適感。房間打掃得一塵不染，床品柔軟舒適，躺上去瞬間卸去旅途的疲憊。設施更是滿分，高清投影、品質一流的洗浴用品，細節處處能感受到主人的用心。 服務熱情： 老闆和工作人員的熱情好客讓人有回家的感覺。房間內介紹了遊玩攻略和美食地圖，幫忙預訂門票，省心不少。 特色體驗： 不得不提的是他家附近的早餐！地道的山西特色，乾淨又美味，為一天的遊玩注滿了能量。 總之，聖雅居不僅僅是一個住宿的地方，更是旅途中的一份美好回憶。下次來大同，絕對會再次入住，也會毫不猶豫地推薦給所有朋友！

Ok so here is my Honest review of this brand new hotel in Datong. I understand this is a brand new hotel so I hope this could help as a honest review. -Staff are helpful even for foreigners. They do their best to accommodate your questions and are very friendly. -Rooms are clean with all the necessary amenities. -Rooms dont smell like cigarettes/smoke unlike gmost other hotels. -Rooms are fairly spacious. -location is good, its still a fair 15-20min walk to alot of the sights such as the wall or the drama play but it is close to the fortress wall down south. -WIFI is very good, great signal. Things that i think need working on - The hotel is a little bit difficult to find, i dont recall seeing a sign, maybe becsuse it is brand new. I had to go into a neighbouring hotel to ask if it was the correct one and they helped me call this hotel and actually guided me here. - Although it says I have a courtyard window it is actually facing inside (as the rooms are undeeground) and the window is facing the hall way lol. - my biggest complaint is the lack of toilet roll, i was given one roll (which is fine) but the next day they didnt replenish it resulting in me running out...luckily I always keep tissue with me (A must in china for the public toilets) - As its basement level its hard to pick up reception on your phone. Overall, value for money I think is great for the location and the cleanliness. A few things to work on but its understandable for a new business.
