Our stay at Bo Yuan’er Platinum Courtyard Hotel in Datong was outstanding. The hotel enjoys an excellent location right in the heart of Datong’s Ancient City. Being situated in the pedestrian zone means it is wonderfully quiet at night with no traffic noise, yet it still offers the convenience of an underground parking garage for guests arriving by car. The hotel is newly built with beautiful traditional-inspired architecture, and the rooms are luxurious, spacious, and finished to a very high standard. Everything felt modern, elegant, and exceptionally well maintained. The Chinese breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious dishes. Every morning was a pleasure. What impressed us most was the genuinely warm hospitality of the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, professional, and always happy to help with any request. They kindly offered us a late checkout, which made our travel plans much more comfortable. As a final surprise, we even received a thoughtful gift when we left—a wonderful gesture that perfectly reflected the hotel’s exceptional service. We highly recommend Bo Yuan’er Platinum Courtyard Hotel to anyone visiting Datong. It combines a perfect location, beautiful accommodations, outstanding breakfast, and truly first-class hospitality. We would gladly stay here again.

I had an amazing stay at Yunzhong Traditional Courtyard in Datong! This hidden gem offers a traditional Chinese courtyard experience with a cozy and authentic vibe. The location is ideal—just a short walk from Huayan Temple and Nine Dragon Wall. The rooms were immaculately clean, making it easy to relax, especially after staying at a larger hotel that wasn’t as spotless. The bathroom amenities were incredible—featuring a wooden comb, two electric toothbrushes, Sensodyne toothpaste, a high-quality nail clipping set, a shoehorn, Listerine, and lingerie soap, all beautifully packed in an embroidered red pouch, free of charge. Breakfast was delicious, with a carefully prepared set menu. The thousand-year congee was unbelievably good! The hotel even has a small exhibition room, adding to its charm. There's no complaint on anything here. It's all perfect to me! Overall, Yunzhong Traditional Courtyard is a fantastic blend of tradition, comfort, and thoughtful hospitality—highly recommend it!

เลือกโรงแรมในเมืองเก่าเป็นพิเศษ บรรยากาศโบราณและเงียบสงบดีมากค่ะ อยู่ในเมืองเก่าก็สะดวก เหนื่อยจากการเที่ยวก็กลับมาพักผ่อนได้ตลอด ชาร์จพลังแล้วไปเดินเล่นและทานอาหารต่อได้เลย อาหารเช้าสะอาดและอร่อย บริการของเจ้าของก็ดีเยี่ยม มีบริการรถรับส่งฟรีให้หนึ่งครั้ง ตอนกลับยังได้น้ำส้มสายชูเป็นของที่ระลึก 2 ขวดด้วยค่ะ จะแนะนำให้เพื่อนๆ มาพักที่นี่แน่นอนค่ะ

If we could design a perfect stay for us, this would be it. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel has a beautiful warm feel to it, our room was charming, very comfortable, soft bed, lovely linen and pillows, plenty of room for our luggage, places to sit, great tv and even a warm loo seat and great shower. Plus a magnificent breakfast spread and laundry facilities too. They even have their own special tea. Great location - close to the wall entrance across the road and not far to walk to good restaurants. Close to public transport also. Thanks for having us. We won't hesitate to recommend to our family and friends.

Very pleased with my 3-night stay at Radisson RED Datong (大同). Overall, a great experience: • 🏨 Modern & stylish — clean, comfortable and well-maintained hotel. • 🛏️ Room upgrade — if I remember correctly, I was kindly given a complimentary upgrade to a larger room. • 🪟 Large window — the room had a fairly large floor-to-ceiling window, which I found quite rare in China and really enjoyed. • ✨ High-quality amenities — Dyson hair dryer and TOTO bathroom fixtures. • 🚭 No cigarette smoke smell — a big plus and quite rare in China. I really hope the hotel maintains this standard. • 🙏 Excellent staff service — when I had an issue with my flight, a staff member kindly lent me her phone so I could call the airline using a local number. I really appreciated her help. Overall, a very pleasant stay. I booked two rooms for 4, and we were given rooms beside each other. We arrived late at night around 9.30pm and check in went smoothly. Rooms were very comfortable and were equipped with SMART tech with voice activation! We were also able to check out a little later upon request since our train left later in the afternoon. I also had packages delivered to the reception and had no issues. Location was great and easy to explore the ancient city and also to see the main wall itself. One thing to note is that there isn't a formal drop off point but you can definitely get dropped off and picked up along the side of the road. The room layout was slightly different than the images on Trip.com (I booked a Double bedroom with courtyard view with a stay voucher), but the room was good too although I would have preferred the toilet configuration in the photos. Overall, a great place to stay and I'd definitely stay here again if I get to come back to Datong. They also have a bakery at the lobby and it gets sold out pretty quickly!

1. ทำเลที่ตั้งดี มีร้านค้าเล็กๆ ตรงข้ามตลาดสะดวกซื้อ ซุปเปอร์มาร์เก็ต และร้านขายยา 2. ไก่เกอและเหอลาวลาวอันโด่งดังอยู่ห่างจากกันไม่เกิน 1 กิโลเมตร อยู่ฝั่งตรงข้ามและสามารถไปถึงได้ภายในห้านาที 3.มีห้องสวีทเดินทางกับผู้สูงอายุและเด็กได้สะดวกมากและสามารถดูแลได้ 4. พนักงานบริการมีความกระตือรือร้นมาก มีสไลเดอร์อยู่ที่ชั้น 5 และ 6 ที่เด็กๆ สามารถเล่นได้ 6. สะอาด ถูกหลักอนามัย กันเสียงได้ดี

ประสบการณ์โดยรวมที่โรงแรมนี้น่าพึงพอใจมาก ทำเลที่ตั้งดีเยี่ยม ใกล้กับจุดชมวิว ทำให้ไม่ต้องตื่นเช้า ห้องพักสะอาดเรียบร้อย มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครัน พนักงานเป็นมิตรและเป็นมืออาชีพ มีผลไม้ให้ทานด้วย อาหารเช้าหลากหลายและมีเอกลักษณ์ ฉันประทับใจกับสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกในห้องพักและคุณภาพการบริการมาก แถมยังมีของที่ระลึกให้ตอนเช็คเอาท์อีกด้วย ขอแนะนำเป็นอย่างยิ่ง!
