KKMSI recently stayed at the Sofia Novotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to unwind after a busy day. The beds were perfect—not too firm and not too soft, ensuring a great night’s sleep.
The hotel’s location is fantastic, situated just across the street from a shopping mall, which made it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile.
The breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day.
The only downside was the gym, which is quite small and lacks heavy free weights and a pull-up bar. While it’s fine for a basic workout, those looking for a more comprehensive fitness setup might be disappointed.
All in all, Sofia Novotel is a great choice for its location, comfort, and service, but fitness enthusiasts might find the gym facilities limited. I would definitely stay here again!

CCagbacovVery Disappointing Service – Not Worth the Price
I recently stayed at Hotel COOP Sofia and had an unpleasant experience with one of the receptionists, Mariana. When I called the reception to request some ice for my room, she informed me ,in a rather rude tone ! That the hotel does not deliver ice to rooms and that I had to come downstairs to collect it myself.
As I tried to explain that I had received ice in my room the previous evening, she abruptly hung up the phone. When I went down to the lobby to clarify the situation, I told her that her behavior was unacceptable and that an apology would be appropriate. Instead of apologizing, she claimed she was “too busy” and that there were “too many guests,” although the lobby was completely empty at the time.
She then asked, again in a dismissive way, whether I still wanted the ice. I requested to speak with her supervisor, but she pretended not to understand what I meant. Eventually, she brought me a small amount of ice in a paper cup. Only after I insisted did she return with an ice bucket and tongs.
This level of service is far below what one would expect from a four starts hotel of this category. The experience left a very negative impression, and I will certainly not stay here again.
Aside from this, the hotel’s facilities are average at best and do not justify the price. The only real advantage is the availability of parking, which also comes with an additional charge of €12 per day.

(Told them it was my birthday for example and not even a happy birthday) Rooms are very spacious, spa and gym very nice and the Adore restaurant has very good food.

The self check-in and check-out process was seamless, and the keyless Bluetooth door entry made coming and going effortless. The rooms are huge — perfect for setting up a comfortable workspace.The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful whenever I needed anything.
While the hotel isn't located in the city center (so it may be less ideal for travelers looking to explore Sofia in just a day), it's absolutely heaven for remote workers. The surrounding area is alive and booming with shops, bars, and restaurants, giving off a young, productive vibe.
Highly recommended for digital nomads and anyone looking for a comfortable, modern stay!

JJoyceWas extremely disappointed that the wifi in the room wasn’t working at all. This is very bad considering that this is supposed to be a business hotel. Furthermore, no attempt at compensation was offered at all, even though i paid for the wifi which was advertised. Staff also did not bother to update on the status after checking and I had to call the reception again to check on the update of the wifi. That said, the room was adequate and all the staff were still nice (by Bulgarian standards).

Its prime location in the heart of Sofia, just a short walk from the Mall of Sofia and Saint Nedelya Church, made exploring the city effortless. The room was a perfect blend of comfort and functionality, featuring a cozy memory foam bed and a well-designed desk that was ideal for my work needs. The complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi kept me connected without a hitch. The staff were incredibly attentive, offering top-notch service that made my stay even more enjoyable. With modern amenities like an LED TV and a luxurious rainfall shower, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Central Hotel Sofia to anyone visiting the city!
