Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel 6 notti con mezza pensione io, mio marito e mia figlia di 9 anni. Già da subito l'hotel e Tamer, che ci ha accolto (l'unico che parla italiano e inglese), ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. Per quello che può offrire questa città l'hotel è abbastanza sopra la media. Buon cibo, pulizia e confort in generale all'interno dell'hotel. La zona è quello che è, molto povera e sporca, ma com'è d'altronde tutto il resto della città e di queste zone... Ma una volta dentro l'hotel è tutto ok per quanto riguarda pulizia e altri servizi. Wi fi gratuito. Saletta ristorante e una bellissima terrazza vista piramidi dove bere thè, fare colazione o cena. Il personale tutto cordialissimo e sempre disponibile. Organizzano anche gite ovunque sempre con guida e autista, anche se sono un po' più care rispetto a quelle trovate su TripAdvisor. Nel complesso il prezzo dell'hotel invece è stato molto buono considerando anche la mezza pensione. Se dovessi tornare al Cairo ci tornerei sicuramente. Grazie a tutti voi ☺️

I was fasting, and when the time came for breaking my fast, they would not let me use my complimentary breakfast entitlement to break fast in the hotel restaurant. I spoke to the duty manager, but to no avail. Very bad guest service.

PParadise29219317280ภรรยาของฉันและฉันหยุดพักอย่างรวดเร็วในไคโรและต้องการดูปิรามิดและสฟิงซ์และผ่อนคลายก่อนเดินทางกลับบ้านไกล โฟร์ซีซั่นส่งในทุกวิธีที่เป็นไปได้ เจ้าหน้าที่อํานวยความสะดวกจัดให้มารับเราที่สนามบิน (บินจากชาร์มเอล เชค) แล้วเช็คอินเราไปที่ห้องก่อน 9:30 น. จากนั้นเราก็มีเวลาที่จะสดชื่นเพลิดเพลินกับอาหารเช้าที่ผ่อนคลายจากนั้นพบกับคนขับรถและไกด์นําเที่ยวของเราเพื่อเดินทางไปเยี่ยมชมสถานที่ คนขับรถของเราและไปกลับจากสนามบินคือ Mohsen Ahmed เขายอดเยี่ยมมาก ไกด์ของเรา Ash Saad Saghloul ก็ยอดเยี่ยมเช่นกัน สุภาพบุรุษทั้งสองดูแลเราเป็นอย่างดี ไม่รีบร้อนเลย และทิ้งทริปข้าง ๆ เพิ่มเติม (สําหรับการช็อปปิ้ง) ไว้ให้เราอย่างสมบูรณ์ ให้เรากลับไปที่โรงแรมในช่วงบ่ายเพื่อให้เราสามารถผ่อนคลาย จากนั้นเราทานอาหารเย็นตอน 8 โมงเช้าซึ่งดีพอ ๆ กับความคิดเห็นที่แสดงให้เห็นว่า ใช่เราทานติ่มซําและอาหารจีนที่สามารถมองเห็นแม่น้ําไนล์เป็นอาหารค่ําอําลาอียิปต์ ห้องพักของเราสะดวกสบายมากและทิวทัศน์ของแม่น้ําไนล์และปิรามิดจากระเบียงทําให้เรารู้สึกพิเศษมาก พูดได้คําเดียวว่ามันเป็นชั่วโมงที่สมบูรณ์แบบในไคโรซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่เราต้องการ ขอบคุณทุกคนที่ Four Seasons ที่ทําให้มันเกิดขึ้นและทําให้มันง่ายและสะดวกสบาย

ผผู้เข้าพักI love Hilton and tend to stay at them due to status but this one my goodness. The hotel looks so nice on the inside you arrive go in the Lobby and its like wow but the outside look especially by the pool area looks terrible. The only good service we had at this Hilton was Martina Naeim whom emailed us before coming to this Hilton she helped by accommodationing us with early check in. The check in desk isn't really traditional its just common deskz which throws you off. Ola was our front desk person and she waa great and helpful she explained the policy and procedures as we checked in early from the airport, dropped our luggage in our room and went for an excursion for the day. We got back around 3pm and went to the pool area. As soon as we got to the pool area some man with a life guard shirt started asking us about a $1 stated we owed money and to pay our bill. We just back got to the hotel after our day excursion and we were only here for one day so we were supper confused and this interaction and the man never came back so it left a sour taste. Next after this experience we wanted beer from the pool bar which for some reason the bar was out of most of there beers. We did get one and hung out by the pool area but 20 mins after getting our beer the bartender comes with a check stating he is closing in 20 mins so we asked for another one which he got one and we signed the checked. We thought that the area must close soon. It started getting loud in the pool area due too 2 weddings in the area. Well 30 mins after the bartender brought out the 2nd beer this same bartender walked back and forth asking if we wanted another beer. We assumed he be closed by now since he told us he be closed 30 mins prior so we were definitely not gonna order another one as we were upset that he lied and then the pacing back and forth was not very pleasing. Plus the noise from both parties began to make it unbearable to be outside. Definitely don't get a room facing the pool this was terrible. Two weddings were going on outside and the pool area was not relaxing so went to our room. This was even worse the noise from both parties made the room vibrate and was so loud, it was very hard to get sleep. The good about this place was the lobby which is gorgeous, the beds were super comfortable and I loved having the complimentary airport shuttle to the airport every hour. But this is not Hilton I suggest. No shuttle service from airport, no complimentary breakfest bags(we had early flights so didn't get to enjoy breakfast), and no happy hour deals. Not a place I would come back to. Hope they come back with Hilton standards.

Tôi được đặt tùy và sau đó tôi được thông báo rằng họ không thể gọi ai từ khách sạn, họ sẽ thử lại và sau đó họ sẽ gọi lại cho tôi khi họ có thể đến họ. Above all, I would like to express my gratitude to the staff's efforts to manage the City Hostel clean which is too old and out fashioned building.
* Location & Transportation
Without noise, it is the best location to stay. It is located at 2 2-minute walk distance from Attaba subway station that connects to the Ramsis Railway Station and the Egypt Museum, only 1~3 stops away, charging 6 EGP per way. Of course, you can go to both by walk in 20 minutes. It means you can also enjoy the Nile riverside which is close to the museum.
And it is a 2-minute walk distance from the Attaba market which is the biggest public market in Cairo and so many locals visit to buy their livelihoods stuff at a cheap price.
In addition, you can also walk to the Al Azhar Mosque and Khan El-Khalili traditional market in 30 minutes, and St. Marc Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in AL Azbakeya in 10 minutes
Two problems I experienced are firstly the noi⁹sy from 8 am to 3 am outside the building due to market area and cars' horns. It took 3 days for me to adapt it. Any room in the hostel cannot escape it without changing the windows to soundproof ones. If you are sensitive to sound, it is better to find other lodges in a residential area or modernized ones.
Secondly, its location on the Uber taxi map and other maps is not accurate, so drivers have some problems in finding the city hostel. I have to meet them in front of the KFC next to the Attaba subway station. The signboard of the hotel is too small to recognize it.
* Building and room conditions
Like many other buildings in Cairo, the hostel building is old and shabby. The interior design and facilities are also outdated. However, the staff manages it so clean, particularly a common toilet and shower room.
It is quite convenient a washstand in each room.
However, it is bad there is no electronic kettle to boil water in a room or a common space. I could not enjoy my tea or coffee time at any time. I have to ask for hot drink water every morning when receiving breakfast, and store it in my tumbler.
It will be better to provide a tea or coffee service area in the hostel.
* Cleanness & Safety
Cleanness and safety are very good. I have no issue with this.
* Services
There is no basic service that most guesthouses provide in general: toilet paper and drink water.
Wifi is too weak to use the internet.
Other services like laundry are satisfied.
* Others
During my stay, I couldn't enjoy having an exchange time with other travelers. I think it is because there is no reason to stay in a common space where only sofas and a table are. Largely guesthouse provides a commonplace where guests enjoy better the internet or drinks including tea or coffee and foods, which makes guests meet each other naturally and structurally.
In conclusion, if the hostel provides basic services like toilet paper and commonplace with drink water and electronic kettles, it will be much better.
And it is necessary to change its signboard so that is more recognizable.
Except issues I mentioned above, it is a very good budget lodge.

ผผู้เข้าพักThis hostel has a good location and I would say that it is pretty walkable in the early morning and very late at night but the walking infrastructure is not the best in Cairo. Mid day the traffic makes it very tricky to walk around even though there are many good restaurants and attractions nearby.
Finding it is a little tricky but it is down an alley that doesn't allow cards and it is located on floor 2 of an older building. There is an elevator but all doors and gates need to be closed in order for it to work and we found guests at the hostel weren't good at closing after themselves. The staff are very kind and welcoming but we got a bit hung up on the payment. We booked on Trip with the ”Pay at the Hotel” option for 3100 Egyptian pounds for three nights in a private room but they were asking for 3600 when we were checking in. After a little back and forth they let us check in and gave us the keys so we could rest and wait for the manager's answer. The manager said no to our booked rate, we were told we booked on Expedia and we now had to pay 3900 Egyptian pounds. I'm at a loss of words for this discrepancy between Trip and the hostel but there weren't better deals in the area we wanted to stay and we very reluctantly paid.
The room was just a place to sleep with a box to the side where our shower and toilet were. The box had no ceiling or ventilation so there were smells throughout the room from the drains. The beds were comfy but were not completely clean when we arrived - there was hairs in the bed sheets. The room cleanliness overall could have been better. The area is quiet at night and we got a good night's rest to spend our days exploring Cairo.
The breakfast was ok but there wasn't much room to eat in the common areas during our stay so we asked for breakfast in our room during our stay. We had a simple breakfast with a fried egg, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, banana, tea/coffee and Arabic bread. It is enough to get you through until lunch and is served starting at 8 pm. There is a convenience store close by that offers fairly priced snacks and drinks which you might want to seek out because they do not provide water at this hostel.
We hope this property improves because it seems like it used to be really good and the location is good as well.

โรงแรมมีบริการรถรับส่งฟรีจากโรงแรมไปยังสนามบิน (ไม่แน่ใจว่ามีรถรับส่งฟรีจากสนามบินไปยังโรงแรมหรือไม่) หากคุณเดินเท้า จะใช้เวลาประมาณ 15-20 นาทีจากสนามบิน ฉันจะไม่แนะนำหากคุณถือสัมภาระหนัก

ผผู้เข้าพักWe stayed in a renovated room so bathroom was newly done and the walls were freshly painted. Nice light options to relax with softer light. Curtain and carpet were also new and inviting. Bedding was clean. Bathroom was clean. We enjoyed our stay. It seems that rooms are being updated since other reviews were written. Many reviews seem harsh considering the price you pay. It's a higher end budget stay after all. We got soap, toilet paper and towel. You can't expect everything for a budget price. Reception area was nicely decorated for Ramadan and staff were friendly. Location is great and a fun part of Cairo to explore. Nice night markets! Typical city noises but not too loud to sleep considering its the centre of the city. Balcony sliding doors are new and close but there is no view to mention. Other guests we saw seemed content as they socialised in public area. I prepaid with hotel.com to avoid payment issues. Public areas do need some more renovation and some repairs but again, it did not reduce the comfort of my stay and it was acceptable being dusted and clean.It's good for Cairo. We enjoyed using the quaint art nouveau gilded style lift! A good experience overall.
