After flying 12 hours or so to a city we'd never visited, in a country we'd never visited, to a hotel we'd only ever seen online, we were excited, tired, and a little apprehensive. But all our concerns went flying out the window within minutes of arriving at Hotel Vitrum. The staff were (are) able to flip to English in seconds and were ever so friendly and helpful. There was a warmness and authenticity to their interactions that can't be taught in any customer service manual. We felt welcomed as people, not just guests, or nights or whatever profit units’ hotels use for occupancy. Our suite was roadside yet quiet, modern and almost spotless. And I can recommend the bed as we slept 12 hours straight. The time zone difference between BA and Auckland is not favourable to eastbound travellers. The location for us, was fantastic. Palermo is walk-able, eclectic, hip, raw, historic and funky. And the dining (with craft beer) - oh my - so many quality choices near or even far. Asado, alfajores, empandas, choripan and all the milanesa one can eat. Throw in the wine and walking it all off becomes essential. Luckily Vitrum is within an easy walk of the subway, so all of BA is your oyster. What a pearl of a city it is. We can't wait to go back. Special mention must go to the Venezuelan concierge who made us feel most welcome. If you ever make it to New Zealand there is a seat at our table for you.

From the moment we arrived, Natalia was so accommodating. We arrived mid morning after a long flight. She offered us refreshments and a place to put our luggage. By noon, our room was ready. Throughout our stay, Natalia and the rest of the staff offered us restaurant ideas, arranged a great tango show and helped us with taxis. Our room, while in the front of the property, was quiet and very large. I will definitely staff here next time I am in Buenos Aires.

Es un excelente alojamiento. Departamentos tipo estudio, todo nuevo. Cuentan con anafe eléctrico, tostadora y microondas. Vajilla y algunos utensilios de cocina. Pava eléctrica. (Cafetera no) La ubicación es inmejorable en zona oulets y la edificación de un antiguo convento es hermosa. No le doy 5 estrellas porque la ventana de mi habitación daba justo al bar de abajo y la música y el ruido en fin de semana fueron insoportables. Deberían solucionar ese tema mejorando las ventanas porque realmente es muy molesto. Rescato que cuando les avise a los encargados del alojamiento lograron que se bajara un poco la música. Si se soluciona eso es excelente. Muy amables todos en su atención. Volvería seguramente

O hotel é muito bem localizado, no meio de tudo em Palermo. Os quartos são muito bons, limpos, novos e espaçosos. Gostei muito do café da manhã também. Recomendo muito!
