The hotel is not close to Dogo Onsen street and you will need to drive or get a taxi if you want to go there. There are no restaurants or shops nearby the hotel. There is a walk nearby the hotel you can take which offers nice scenery in the woods. The hotel looks a bit dated particularly the bedrooms and the corridors. I asked for a quiet room facing the mountain instead of one facing a busy road and had to pay an additional 2200 yen. The hotel has a number of onsens and I like the outdoor ones best. The buffet dinner and breakfast offer good selection and I particularly like the dinner which offered nice teppanyaki beef and sushi. The hotel reception staff spoke very little English and the hotel did not reply to an email I sent them asking for transportation information to get to the hotel. There are buses near the hotel which go to Matsuyama and Imabari but they run infrequently.

The place is good, walking distance from the station & amenities are free to acces like the onsen, massage chair on the 1st floor that can only be used for 15 minutes, low-temperature sauna on the 2nd floor etc. You can also drink coffee or tea while reading manga & relax at the lounge. I & my friends also had massage which we were satified with. We weren't able to eat at the restaurant, but I tried it before. The food was good, but the service was long because there was inly 1 pwrson serving at that time. I could sleep well because it was quiet, but the pillow is a bit hard, so it was a bit uncomfortable for me. Overall, I like the place because of the services they offer & the amenities available.

We wanted to experience Dogo Onsen and this was a great choice (albeit expensive because it was a holiday weekend). The hotel is lovely and the service is beyond excellent. The staff was super kind as we are English speakers. Plus, we really enjoyed the hotels onsens better than the ones in town (the Dogo Onsen is being renovated and only one room was open for each gender; the same was the case with the Annex). The hotels onsens were lovely and the private outdoor onsen was a really lovely experience. We also took advantage of their convenient bus service into town although it’s only a 10 minute walk and we walked multiple times. Highly recommend!

Room is clean and comfortable. Their staff are generally friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic. Onsen facilities is great.

เข้าพักแบบ half-course plan แต่อาหารเย็นอร่อยตั้งแต่อาหารเรียกน้ําย่อยไปจนถึงของหวาน ฟินมาก ตอนอาหารเช้า งงๆ กับชามอาหารทะเลที่เสิร์ฟไม่อั้น ไม่สามารถไปถึงขนมได้ ต้องการความรวดเร็วจัดสรร!!!!! ฮ่าๆ บันทึกไว้ว่าสามารถไปอาบน้ําสาธารณะขนาดใหญ่ได้โดยไม่ต้องใช้สิ่งอํานวยความสะดวกใดๆ แต่การแต่งหน้าไม่ค่อยดีเพราะเป็นรูปแบบของการทําความสะอาดและล้างหน้า ผมว่าถ้าแค่ทําความสะอาดก็ดีใจ

เป็นโฮสเทลที่สวยมาก บ่อน้ําพุร้อนที่แนบมาก็ใหญ่มาก รู้สึกดี

The hotel is super suitable for those who who aim for running away from modernization. And enjoy a peaceful moment of your own. Do remember you have to make reservations so that the staff will prepare dinner for you otherwise you need to drive a few miles to search for food elsewhere. The facilities are a bit aged but at least it doesn’t bother us from enjoying the stay.
