Very good stay. Room was clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. They greeted us every time when we passed by the reception. We were not come for the light show but good to have it. Free car park was included but it could be challenging for big car. We didn’t try breakfast nor dine in their restaurant. You may opted for not having the room cleaned and get 5€ voucher in return. Bear in mind that you have to order something more than 5€, one voucher each time.
Everything was perfect! Me and my sister was only there for a 3 day trip to Lisbon and had the Twin Room including breakfast, which was perfect for us. The rooms were as pictured, very spacious, interior is modern and service was immaculate (all staff spoke English which made it a little easier!). Thank you Pedro especially as he was very attentive throughout and also got sorted one of the lights that kept turning off itself.
Thank you Pedro for letting us also know we could leave our belongings with them (FOR FREE) on the last day even if we've checked out so we could go by our last day without any heavy loads! Highly recommend staying here as its also quite close to the centre, though we did uber most of the time.
Overall, I will be visiting again!
Excellent hotel! I made sure before booking a hotel for short stay, I read all the reviews whether good or bad. This hotel has an excellent reviews and I did not make a mistake on my decision! Lutecia has an excellent service, very clean, food is fab and room is very nice, bed is very comfortable and staff are so friendly and helpful. Everything is excellent on my point of view. Location is the best too and the place is easily accessible to shops and Metro! This hotel is highly recommended and if we will visit again Lisbon, Lutecia Hotel is my number one choice!
Things I love about this hotel:
1. Location - 1million/10 - super central, walking distance to everything, near all public transpos, shops and restaurants everywhere all within less than a min or 2 mins walking
2. Staff - 1million.1/10 - friendly, very helpful, attentive. One thing I could not forget is that I had an early morning flight and their breakdast buffet doesnt start until 7:30AM. The hotel staff had prepared a breakfast box for me to go to bring to the airport.
3. Check in - 1000/10 - their check in isnt until 12nn, but thankfully for me, my room was ready and they let me in early. I opted to roam around and leave my luggage and upon return, they had already put my luggage in my room.
4. Breakfast spread - 7-10 - good selection
5. Aesthetic details - 8/10 - garden, themed floors and rooms
6. Welcome gifts - cute/10 - a letter, a free drink, and a discounted lunch meal
What could be better:
1. Bathroom - a little bit tight especially the shower area. Its the typical European bath tub. Shower is great though, strong pressure and easy to use, and doesnt run out of hot water, but space is a bit small. Might be a problem for elderly people.
WWariyukiI won’t recommend this apartment though it is only less than 10 mins walk from the Martim Moniz metro station and the city centre.
The apartment is located at the back alley of some old buildings. There were a lot of homeless people and wanderers at both ends of the alleys. The most unacceptable thing was that the alley was stinky with the very bad smell of urine and garbage. Since the apartment is inside the alley that car cannot go inside, even we took Uber, we still need to walk 2-min from either end of the alley to the apartment.
Unfortunately we were assigned with a room on the ground level of the 4-storey apartment. To be exact, the room was slightly below ground level, meaning that we could see the feet of the people walking on the street through the 2 windows of our room. It was also a bit noisy when people talked on the street, parked their bicycle right at the windows of our room. Obviously we couldn’t open our windows or curtains, meaning that it was like staying in a room without windows. We have asked for a change of room. Since we were staying there for 7 nights, we also didn’t mind to change for only a few nights in the middle of the stay, however we were not provided with any option to change our room even though we booked this apartment 4 MONTHS ago (not the last minute customers).
Besides, the sound proofing of the apartment was bad. We could hear everyone talking outside. Since it’s the ground floor unit, there were more people passing by and going up to different floors and in and out the building, all sounds were quite annoying especially during the late night. Among the 7 nights, there were also 2 nights having some sorts of alarm in the mid nights for over 30 minutes. All these issues were very disturbing too.
Adding to it, the bed and pillows of the apartment were too hard and not comfortable to us. We didn’t have any good sleep unfortunately.
Nevertheless the interior of the apartment was fine, spacious and clean. Decoration was modern, daily house-keeping was also fine. There were aircon, washer and dryer, a basic coffee filter machines but not Nespresso coffee machine.

TTravelTime11Nice hotel with friendly staff particularly the young lady at the spa reception. Nice sauna, jacuzzi and gym for use. Quiet area close enough to the heart of lisbon. Totally recommending this place.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe had a pleasant stay at Masa Hotel spa combo grande collection .The breakfast was really nice and great way to start your day, and the amenities were excellent — guests can use the spa, gym, sauna, and bath facilities, which made the stay more enjoyable. Although the location is a bit far from some of the main attractions, it is still reasonably convenient since they can be easily reached by metro.
Cleaning was generally okay, but the shower drain in our room was not working very well, which was a bit inconvenient.
AAlbi LisboaImportant Considerations for Travelers:
- If you book a room with breakfast included and have an early flight on your departure day, consider purchasing breakfast separately. The hotel does not offer a refund for unused breakfasts, and in my case, they neither refunded nor provided any form of compensation. This policy, though minor for the hotel, can leave a negative impression, as a small gesture of goodwill would go a long way in enhancing guest satisfaction.
- The hotel does not provide bathrobes, which may be inconvenient for guests accustomed to using them after a shower.
- Nighttime temperatures can be quite low, so it is advisable to turn on the air conditioning in advance to ensure a comfortable sleep.
- The rooms are compact, making this hotel a better fit for solo travelers rather than couples or families.
- While it is rated as a four-star property, the breakfast selection is quite simple and limited. Guests can expect pastries, a small assortment of sliced meats and cheeses (1-2 types each), yogurt, toppings, scrambled eggs, ciabatta, a modest selection of sliced fruit, juice, and some alcoholic beverages.
Hotel Perk:
- Unlimited coffee is available in the lounge, which is a nice bonus for guests.
- The hotel is situated in a district neighboring the city center, offering convenient access. Guests can reach the embankment and historic center within a short walk.
- Upon my arrival on the first night of check-in, I received a welcome kit that included complimentary access to the in-room bar. I’ve attached a photo of the bar below for reference.
