My sister and I just finished visiting my son in Toronto and we decided to visit Montreal. We booked 2 rooms. We had a terrible experience at Royal York Fairmont . We got kicked out from the lobby lounge by Karen over there for voicing our concern for the service being slow. For we had absolutely low expectations for QE. When we checked in there were 3 staff at the counter. 2 of them were engaged in their friendly conversation and one of them stepped up to help us. I thought that was totally unprofessional for the staff chatting among themselves in front of guests. Rooms are basic and clean. The location is central. The staff has showed no warmth and attention. In Asia a hotel of this level will greet u warmly and the better one will remember your name. Services at restaurants in Montreal are top notch. We visited some with long history and the staff took pride to explain to us the history. It is a shame Fairmont has some of best historic buildings in Canada and the staff showed no interest to highlight the history of the buildings. I travelled a lot for me to earn a diamond member here. I will avoid staying at Fairmont and any of their member hotels from now on.

Tout le personnel était très courtois. Les installation très bien( spa, piscine). Le restaurant est très classe. La proximite avec le ****** offre une expérience d’exception.

Impressive hotel However the hot tub was not working and looked like it been out of order for a while They told me it broke last week and would be fixed by next week but based on others reviews I’m not sure that was truthful The restaurant was a hard pass - they are over crowded and could not accommodate me as a hotel guest

โซฟิเทลเป็นสถานที่ที่น่าตื่นตาตื่นใจ! เรามีความสุขกับบริการต้อนรับ ทําเลที่ตั้งสะดวกพอสมควร โรงแรมสะอาด และอยู่ใกล้กับสิ่งอํานวยความสะดวกและร้านอาหารพอสมควร ฉันหวังว่ามันจะดูสวยขึ้นทั้งภายนอก ภายใน และมีล็อบบี้ที่ยิ่งใหญ่กว่านี้ บริเวณล็อบบี้ก็โอเค และรู้สึกไม่หรูหราเกินไป

We believe it is the brightest gem in the Montreal region The accommodation is: - immaculately well maintained; - located in a vantage point shrouded in tranquility; - nice and comfortable house that puts it on the pedestal in the same league; - squeaky clean; - very comfortable mattresses. You are mollycoddled, from the very first moment you hit the sack; Simply one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed!

回程最後一天又訂了這家酒店，房間設施、衞生、環境依然很好，就是這次安排的樓層較矮，朝向沒有上次好，房間窗户也沒上次大，對着一面大白牆，之後和前台聯繫了，給調換了一間。還有一點不太理解的是這個房間裏所有的沐浴露洗髮水潤膚露的瓶子都是空的，打電話給前台後，派人來補貨了，還算及時。衹是做為高端酒店，不該犯這種錯誤。
