My recent stay at Shangri-La Nanchang was truly delightful. From the moment I arrived, the friendly concierge welcomed me warmly and provided me with a lovely room featuring a stunning river view. The sumptuous dinner that followed was a highlight of my visit.
When I inquired about a room upgrade, I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable price offered. This marks my sixth stay at this hotel, and once again, it proved to be worth every penny. I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for a blend of comfort and enjoyment!
This was our second stay at this hotel, and everything was still perfect. We want to express our appreciation for one of the staff members at check-in, Yuki. She remembered us—perhaps because of our limited Mandarin skills (haaaa....haaa.....)—and went out of her way to ensure we understood everything we needed to know. Yuki also reminded us to reach out to her or her colleagues if we needed any assistance. Her efforts made our stay even more enjoyable!!
We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff was very polite and helpful and the check process was very efficient as well.
The room is specious and clean and we had a beautiful river view.
The breakfast and amenities are good. We could use the wasmachine for free which was great. Also parking was very convenient.
We can recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Nanchang.
We loved our stay at this hotel. The rooms were spotless and modern, with extremely comfortable beds that ensured perfect rest. The view from our window was absolutely breathtaking.
What really stood out was the wonderful staff - always friendly and eager to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our visit extra special.
We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Nanchang. Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!
10/10 - Perfect in every way!
The Sheraton Nanchang Hotel is a highly-rated luxury property known for its modern design, comfortable accommodations, and excellent amenities. Located in Nanchang’s Honggutan District, it offers stunning views of the Gan River and convenient access to the city’s landmarks, including the Nanchang Star Ferris Wheel and Pavilion of Prince Teng.
Guests frequently highlight the spacious and well-appointed rooms, featuring plush beds and large bathrooms. The hotel’s dining options, especially the Chinese restaurant, are well-regarded for their variety and quality. The fitness center and indoor pool are appreciated for their cleanliness and maintenance.
Service is often praised as attentive and professional, although a few reviews mention occasional language barriers. Overall, it’s a top choice for both business and leisure travelers seeking comfort and convenience in Nanchang.
JJamesHarrisI am afraid to say, this will be the last time I stay in a Wanda hotel anywhere in China. This specific hotel, like every other Wanda hotel, was clean, comfortable, had beautifully appointed rooms, a great shower, good WiFi, friendly and professional service(although I was surprised no English was spoken at check-in) and a good location. However, all of this is completely redundant when the room is simply too hot to sleep in. It’s a problem I have faced in at least two other Wanda hotels elsewhere in China. My friend and I didn’t turn the air conditioning off once during our two night stay, we also didn’t open the curtains at any point and, despite being set to the lowest possible temperature, the room never once got below 25°c. When you are paying for a five star hotel you should be able control the temperature of the room as one of the most basic requirements.
SSean XSLove this place! First they upgraded my room to a river view, without additional fee, what a beautiful scene! Excellent breakfast buffet! Very friendly front staff, service staff, and banquet servers. If you have any requests they deal with them super fast. Very nice facility, close to everything - tourist high points (wanshou gong, bayi museum, pedestrian street, tengwangge) all are within walking distance, night street food market is like 20 meters away, convenient transportation option, subway station is a few minutes walking away. Overall, very happy for the staying experience with Oriscene garden hotel!
DDarren24Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting Nanchang during National Week. A decent stay all in all. The decor is a bit old fashioned and the walls a little thin. But the room was large and comfortable, the service was very good, and it’s right next to a metro station, making travel easy. Best of all, the windows are very thick which drowns out the city noise well (Nanchang drivers seem to love blaring their horns)
Breakfast was a little disappointing. We were told it was open till 12 but when we went down at 9:30 there were very few options left. If you’re a late riser it might be best to get takeaway.
ผผู้เข้าพักEasy for an overnight stay close to the west train station but very relaxing and quiet at the reservoir. Good location for a walk but dinner finishes early and it was 7km before I found a small shop. Very helpful reception and good choice for breakfast. Unfortunately the swimming pool seems to be run by a separate entity and gets booked out for children's swimming lessons so it wasn't possible to go at a convenient time.
JJoMi SilverVery good hotel, very comfortable bed and the staff super friendly even not speaking a word of English we communicated very well using translator and they were so professional in assuring I will get the best experience.
The shower had frear pressure, hot water, room was huge and clean!
The hotel is in front of the subway station which was very convenient too!
ผผู้เข้าพักA wonderful experience in Nanchang! The Jing Feng hotel was excellent, large rooms, really nice service, very clean facilities, and good lunch and breakfast.
And the manager, King, was really helpful and friendly. He spoke Eglish fluently and recomended us where to go see .
We will go back to Nanchang for sure!!
