You cannot swim in the ocean anywhere near Kamei or Atlantis due to safety restrictions. 🌊 Plan Your Activities Wisely If ocean time is important to you, plan ahead: • Head to Wuzhizhou Island for diving and proper beach activities • Look for yacht trips or water sports in other parts of Sanya • Enjoy the hotel pools and walking areas nearby instead of expecting a beach experience 📝 Final Thoughts Kamei Hotel is a solid, practical base for travelers who want comfort and convenience near Atlantis without the premium price tag. Our family of 12 (8 adults and 4 children) from Singapore recently stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate the New Year. As our first trip to China, we were blown away by the beauty of Sanya and the hospitality of this villa. Exceptional Service & Elderly Friendly The service was immaculate from start to finish. The complimentary railway station transfer was a lifesaver. The manager, who was also our driver, was incredibly punctual and went above and beyond to assist with our heavy luggage and my grandfather’s wheelchair. A special mention to our young housekeeper; despite the language barrier, his warmth and professionalism made our check-in effortless. The villa is perfect for multi-generational families—the ground-floor bedroom was ideal for my grandfather’s accessibility. Fun for the Whole Family The basement was the highlight of our stay. Our children spent hours learning pool, while the arcade machine in the bedroom brought back great memories for the adults. Outside, the back gate leads directly to the beach. We were right next to the Crowne Plaza, where they have buckets and shovels prepared for kids to share and a kiosk selling a great variety of popsicles to enjoy by the sea. Location & Travel Tips Haitang Bay is stunning. It features the world’s largest duty-free mall and arguably the best beaches on the island. For Muslim Travelers: Halal food is more concentrated in Sanya Bay and Yalong Bay, so plan your meals accordingly if staying in Haitang Bay. Guest Discounts: Be sure to ask the staff about yacht charters! We enjoyed a great discount on a private boat trip just by staying here. Weather: For those coming from Southeast Asia, the weather here is perfect in late December—dry, sunny, and very comfortable. Helpful Notes for Future Guests Room Layout: The top-floor bedroom has a unique open-bathroom design and no wardrobe. It’s a stylish arrangement, but good to know for privacy planning. Skin Sensitivity: A few of our family members have very sensitive skin (like eczema) and reacted to the swimming pool water. This is just a note for those with similar skin types, and perhaps something the villa can look into for the future. The Beach: The waves can be quite strong and the wind can be high, so do check the tides before heading out. Conclusion Watching the 1.1 New Year fireworks and drone displays away from the usual crowds was worth every cent. Sanya is a clean, safe, friendly, and beautiful city. This villa is a hidden gem that we would recommend to anyone. We could actually see ourselves living here!

This is a huge villa with a huge pool, the rooms are large and amenities are what are advertised. The only disappointment is that the wear and tear are very obvious. It is such a shame as this villa could be amazing. The rooms are neat and clean, although inside a wardrobe there was mould and a missing clothing rail. Also cleaning of the outside spaces wasn’t great. There was also a room full of junk in the basement rooms, it made it feel like the villa was used for a dumping space, not a space prepared for paying guests to stay. The staff however, were amazing! So helpful and happy to come and sort out any issue straight away. Thank you to all the staff, you were lovely! We really did like our time at this villa as we are only a small family and would come again just for the pool and the lovely staff.

We stayed here with our newborn baby. The hotel was nice and the grounds were well kept - it had lovely gardens which we enjoyed walking round with our baby. We booked the pool access room which was quite dark and smelt of damp. Although this room has pool access and a lounging area it was taken by other guest leaving their towels to reserve the beds at 7am! Other guests were also smoking in this area so it was impossible to use our own balcony. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, Jane, Anne and Emily from the hotel lobby were great when we told them about our issue with smoking around our baby. We changed to a villa which was great and definitely worth booking over the other rooms. It was bright and clean with a great big bath and lovely private pool. We ate elsewhere most of the time as during breakfast I found glass from a chipped plate in my food which I unknowingly chewed and cut my mouth. The staff offered us a free buffet dinner which we declined as we were totally put off eating there and hadn’t enjoyed the dinner when we ate there - wouldn’t recommend the food at all.

เป็นการดีที่จะออกไปเล่นในช่วงเทศกาลฤดูใบไม้ผลิ ราคาถูก และประสบการณ์พูลวิลล่าก็ยอดเยี่ยม! สระว่ายน้ําลานแยกต่างหากก็สะอาดและถ่ายรูปก็ดีมาก ห้องพักกว้างขวางและเป็นระเบียบเรียบร้อย พร้อมสิ่งอํานวยความสะดวกครบครัน และพ่อบ้านก็เอาใจใส่และเอาใจใส่ ทําเลสะดวก เดินไปชายหาด เล่นน้ําระหว่างวัน ชมพระอาทิตย์ตกในตอนเย็น สังสรรค์ในลานตอนกลางคืนสบายสุดๆ เหมาะมากสําหรับวันหยุดพักผ่อนของครอบครัวหรือเพื่อนฝูง และจะกลับมาอีกในครั้งหน้า

Очень хороший хозяин. Всё услуги, которые нам нужны были, были предоставлены. Несмотря на другой язык, хозяин держал с нами связь. После тайфуна хозяин оперативно пришёл, исправил то, что пострадало. Расположение отличное, 700 метров до моря. По дороге есть магазин и ресторан. Вилла в тихом, очень зеленом месте. В огороженном жилом комплексе. Бассейн был очень востребован детьми. Всегда чистый, циркуляция целый день. В жилом комплексе также есть большой бассейн с глубиной 1.5м. Бильярд и маджонг каждый день развлекали нас. Уборка каждые 2 дня, дом чистый. Замена полотенец и белья по требованию. Мы очень довольны, что поселились в этой вилле! Это был замечательный отдых!! Самый лучший хозяин!!!
