You cannot swim in the ocean anywhere near Kamei or Atlantis due to safety restrictions. 🌊 Plan Your Activities Wisely If ocean time is important to you, plan ahead: • Head to Wuzhizhou Island for diving and proper beach activities • Look for yacht trips or water sports in other parts of Sanya • Enjoy the hotel pools and walking areas nearby instead of expecting a beach experience 📝 Final Thoughts Kamei Hotel is a solid, practical base for travelers who want comfort and convenience near Atlantis without the premium price tag. It has quirks—slow elevators, distant ocean activities, and a maze‑like parking garage—but with the right expectations, it offers good value and a relaxed atmosphere.

Our family of 12 (8 adults and 4 children) from Singapore recently stayed here for 5 nights to celebrate the New Year. As our first trip to China, we were blown away by the beauty of Sanya and the hospitality of this villa. Exceptional Service & Elderly Friendly The service was immaculate from start to finish. The complimentary railway station transfer was a lifesaver. The manager, who was also our driver, was incredibly punctual and went above and beyond to assist with our heavy luggage and my grandfather’s wheelchair. A special mention to our young housekeeper; despite the language barrier, his warmth and professionalism made our check-in effortless. The villa is perfect for multi-generational families—the ground-floor bedroom was ideal for my grandfather’s accessibility. Fun for the Whole Family The basement was the highlight of our stay. Our children spent hours learning pool, while the arcade machine in the bedroom brought back great memories for the adults. Outside, the back gate leads directly to the beach. We were right next to the Crowne Plaza, where they have buckets and shovels prepared for kids to share and a kiosk selling a great variety of popsicles to enjoy by the sea. Location & Travel Tips Haitang Bay is stunning. It features the world’s largest duty-free mall and arguably the best beaches on the island. For Muslim Travelers: Halal food is more concentrated in Sanya Bay and Yalong Bay, so plan your meals accordingly if staying in Haitang Bay. Guest Discounts: Be sure to ask the staff about yacht charters! We enjoyed a great discount on a private boat trip just by staying here. Weather: For those coming from Southeast Asia, the weather here is perfect in late December—dry, sunny, and very comfortable. Helpful Notes for Future Guests Room Layout: The top-floor bedroom has a unique open-bathroom design and no wardrobe. It’s a stylish arrangement, but good to know for privacy planning. Skin Sensitivity: A few of our family members have very sensitive skin (like eczema) and reacted to the swimming pool water. This is just a note for those with similar skin types, and perhaps something the villa can look into for the future. The Beach: The waves can be quite strong and the wind can be high, so do check the tides before heading out. Conclusion Watching the 1.1 New Year fireworks and drone displays away from the usual crowds was worth every cent. Sanya is a clean, safe, friendly, and beautiful city. This villa is a hidden gem that we would recommend to anyone. We could actually see ourselves living here!

The hotel is located within a golf field, giving a nice break from the usual urban life in China. Very quiet, nice personnel, and full service. Can't really put a finger on anything. We lived in the Valentine Pool Villa, which was beautiful. The pool was bigger than expected, and the water was very clean, even though we didn't ask for it to be cleaned during our 5-day stay. The dining here is also very good. We enjoyed the dinner buffet on the first day, which was tasteful and abundant in different cuisines. Similarly, the morning buffet was filled with nice options. One nice bonus to the breakfast was the hall/restaurant. It was really beautiful, and the acoustics were wonderful, which was quite important, as foreigners (like us) are quite sensitive for loud eating noises :) One negative point. The gym/fitness was really underwhelming. The machine(s) were really old, and the equipment was generally lacking, especially at a resort in this caliber.

По приезду нас сразу встретили у входа и проводили до апартаментов. Вообще на протяжении всего отпуска, если у вас есть WeChat, можно писать свои вопросы и пожелания стафу отеля, лично нас отвечали почти сразу же. Сами апартамента шикарные, у нас открывался вид на бассейн ( в котором очень классно плавать ) и небольшое озеро, внутренняя территория очень красивая и живописная. Каждый день у нас убирались, выбрасывали мусор, меняли полотенца и приносили воду- считайте отельные условия. До пляжа мы ходили один раз пешком- довольно быстрым шагом вышло 40 минут. Гораздо лучше прокатиться на такси, его легко вызвать и стоит всего лишь 8 юаней. Очень недалеко находится красивый национальный парк, советую сходить. Одним словом за такие небольшие деньги мы получили условия дорого отеля, если будет возможность вернусь сюда еще!

This is the third time for us to spend a week at Pullman and we are always happy to be back. The resort is always well kept, with a fantastic park surrounding the villas. What we like most is the silence and the quietness. It’s one of the few places in Yalong Bay where you can actually enjoy nature without being forced to join noisy “entertainment” events. The staff has always been very helpful, especially Felix and Anne who speak very good English and have been very supportive. We’d like to especially thank also the two housewives Qin Guiyun and Sun Youhui, two smiling ladies who kept our villa super clean and every day left a nice handmade puppet on our bed. Good and fast service and quick to respond to queries via WeChat. The property is within walking distance of the beach and some places to eat, but you'll need to walk for 10 minutes if you're younger and 15 minutes if you have kids/older folks. It was easy to catch a 6-seater or 4-seater car via DiDi app from this location. Sometimes these cars are just parked outside and you have to negotiate with them directly. Over the years, the property seems to have been damaged by various guests, with heavily chipped wall edges and walls. Also, the humid weather has warped the outdoor decking. Overall, none of these things impact the enjoyment of the property. The property is equipped with very basic Asian cooking utensils and crockery. i.e. no microwaves, no pots, but there's a wok and steamer. There are chopsticks, but no fork or spoon. If you plan to eat out this is a non-issue. Overall, I would come back if I am travelling with a large group (6-8 people).
