Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama

There are strict rules for interacting with monkeys, and you need to follow these rules, such as not making eye contact, not bending over, not touching their faces. You can buy peanuts or apples for monkeys. There are many cute monkey babies and naughty young monkeys. There are 200 different types of macaques in the world, but this macaque is unique to Japan.

It’s not in our must-do list. But we ended up playing here for a few hours, we were here for a beautiful spring, and we had a great time with the monkeys. It’s fun to interact with the monkeys, but be careful, it takes a long walk.

The monkey park that is close to Lushan Station can be reached by walking. It is a well-known attraction here. Many tourists will come to this tour. To go to the monkey gathering area on the top of the mountain, you have to climb the mountain road for 20 minutes first, because it is in the forest, so it will not be too hot.．

The scenery is good, the fun is strong, and the price is relatively high.

门票貌似约合20人民币/人，售票处位于山脚下，但猴子们是呆在山顶上的，买票的时候工作人员会特意用英语提醒你“20minuteswalking”，实际上就是沿着弯曲的小道花20分钟左右爬上山顶，还是需要一定的体力的。到了山顶，一是可以看看散养的猴子们，二是可以自上而下远眺京都的全景。另外，游玩当中也会偶尔遇见当地换上和服的年轻女生，下山途中还有一个比较长的滑梯，经过的大人小孩的兴致很高的，上去滑个2下体验一番。总体评价，这是岚山的一个比较平凡的景点，没什么缺点，也没特别突出的亮点，时间充裕的朋友可以去，时间不够的话还是略过吧。
