I did feel that the breakfast and room decor could have been of a slightly higher standard. While the stay was comfortable, a bit more attention to detail in these areas would have made the experience even better.
I have stayed at this hotel many times, and it has consistently been a convenient choice for me. The location is excellent—right next to the metro station and situated within the Solna shopping center, which makes getting around and accessing shops very easy.
The breakfast is fairly standard, but it’s sufficient for a comfortable start to the day. Overall, the hotel offers great convenience for my stays and travels. I will definitely return again in the future.
The hotel had a variety of pillows to choose from, which was a very thoughtful touch. The breakfast selection was average, though not particularly extensive. However, the pool was disappointingly expensive for a family of four, costing around 600 kr per person. In most hotels I've visited, the sunroom and jacuzzi are free to guests, and their hours are extended, rather than just 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Very nice hotel with the convenience of being able to park outside the hotel and take a 15 minute ride by commuter train into Stockholm city, perfect if you do not want to drive into town and worry about tolls and parking.
ผผู้เข้าพักEtt hem was part of the reason that we came to Stockholm!! We were very excited to come stay here as we have heard such great things from friends.
The whole concept is that it’s a home, and it really did feel like that! It felt as though we were staying at a friends home, where we can roam around all of the shared areas and spend time anywhere, in the living room, lounges, library, garden etc. The space was designed by a famous interior designer. Our room was an attic room that was quite beautiful. We also opted to have dinner at the house; the menu changes daily depending on what the chef orders in, and on our night it was delicious. We also used their spa room / sauna which was very enjoyable.
My only comment is that while the staff were all very friendly and nice, they were not always available to be found. At times I would need something and go to the main check in counter and there wouldn’t be anyone there, and I would have to roam around the house looking for someone. Same goes for the entrance. You have to ring the bell every time you come back to Ett Hem and on a few occasions, no one answered the door bell or they answered but didn’t follow up / open the door / or come to get us. I understand it’s a part of the casual home feel, but for a luxury hotel I would have preferred a little more availability…
Great stay overall though!!
PPanagiotisThe hotel is in a perfect place, right next to the metro. The windows are really big and the rooms very clean. They make you feel like being at home.
