We had an amazing stay at Funny Lion Puerto Princesa! From check-in until we left, the service was excellent and the staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They made us feel welcome the entire time. We also appreciated the little extras — the complimentary minibar items and snacks were such a nice touch and made the stay feel even more special. Overall, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable experience here, and would definitely stay again on our next trip to Puerto Princesa. Highly recommended!

We only stayed one night but elsewhere for 6 nights we would liked to have found this place earlier and stayed for the whole week very nice staff nice food lovely room and a great view will definitely stay here when in Puerto galera next 👍👍

Our stay at Badladz Beach and dive resort was amazing. From the moment we arrived till our departure. We stayed there for 5 wonderful days. We had initially booked a room and when we got there decided to upgrade to a fully furnished condo. Which was excellent choice, the staff was really helpful and assisted us with all our requests. The cleanliness of the resort and rooms was satisfactory, the food was well prepared and delicious Kudos to the Chef, we did eat outside however i personally did not find the food a enjoyable as at the resort. They gave us great tips about where to go for activities such as Jet Ski, parasailing and snorkeling. People on the island are friendly and helpful. The tricycle rides are 50 pesos, they have fix rates for rides and activities at Minolo Port. One of the things i liked is the water was more clear and less dep at Badladz Resort compared to White Beach. For kids is better and more fun. We recommend this resort for friends, family and for hosting events, It is the right place to enjoy your stay while in Puerto Galera.

From check-in to check-out, the staff provided excellent customer service — always warm, attentive, and eager to help with a smile. They truly made me feel welcome and valued throughout my stay. The room was immaculate, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, the linens fresh, and everything—from the bathroom to the minibar—was spotless. I also appreciated how quiet and relaxing the atmosphere was, perfect for unwinding after exploring the beautiful sights of Palawan. One of the highlights of my stay was the morning breakfast buffet. It offered a great variety of local and international dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. From tropical fruits and made-to-order eggs to Filipino favorites and good coffee, it was the perfect way to start each day. The dining staff were equally wonderful—friendly, efficient, and attentive. Considering the high level of comfort, cleanliness, and service, the affordability of this hotel is truly impressive. You get a 5-star experience at a very reasonable price, making it one of the best values in Puerto Princesa. I highly recommend Best Western Plus The Ivy Wall Hotel to anyone visiting Palawan. Whether for business or leisure, it’s the perfect mix of luxury, convenience, and Filipino hospitality. I’ll definitely stay here again!

It was okay I guess, despite the lack of exterior windows and bad carpet smell. I came here because there was more space in the rooms compared to competing, similarly priced hotels in Puerto Princesa, and a desk to work at. If you haven't researched the location, the hotel is very close to the airport and minor city attractions such as museums and cathedrals, but far from natural attractions such as wildlife conservations and clean beaches. And really, the latter is the main reason most people travel to Palawan. The buffet breakfast may have been adequate for the non-vegan, but that didn't include me.

We had a pleasant stay in this hostel. The bathroom is nice with warm and cold shower. They had free drinking water from a dispenser located outside the rooms but within the vicinity. The ambience is wonderful with a touch of nature such as plants and small pond with some fiahes. It's affordable and we will come back to this hostel in the future.

We stayed for 5 full nights and our whole experience was more than great to be honest. All the staff from front office to dining to room and facilities did great except for Anna, a front desk associate who manifested her arrogance when I requested to have our breakfast packed instead. She was very firm in denying the request and offered zero options to the point of even pointing out that the breakfast was complimentary even if we chose to pay extra if we wanted to have breakfast included. She called to apologize after i talked to her supervisor, Joni. The other minor issue is the proximity of the place to the business centers. It was a bit off the business district but it was close to the beach. Other than these, everything was okay. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
