Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to be as informative as possible and share the information I would have liked to know before booking. This was my 5th trip to Marrakesh and my first stay at Savoy Le Grand. I was quite nervous booking after reading some negative reviews, but overall I had a very pleasant experience. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, we were warmly welcomed by Salah (concierge) and the Moroccan tea man in reception. From check-in to check-out (4 days later), all staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we encountered spoke Arabic, French, and English, which made communication very easy. The foyer is beautiful, and the grounds are extremely well cared for—even more beautiful than expected. That said, there is ongoing construction and upgrades, which are not mentioned on the website. This is currently their quiet season, and the main construction is above the reception building, which is being extended upwards. Noise started daily around 9:15am, drilling around 9:38am, and finished around 6:30pm. Estimated completion is 1 May 2026. If you request a room near the second smaller pool, the noise is much less noticeable. The noise is louder and echoes more around the main pool due to the square layout. The hotel has four pools: two outdoor and two indoor. One indoor pool is heated and includes jacuzzi jets. There is also an additional indoor jacuzzi at the spa, charged at MAD 250 per person for one hour. There are three à la carte restaurants on site: Moroccan, International, and Italian. Directly outside the hotel are a supermarket, Paul, Chilli’s, and Papa John’s. Please note that outside food is not allowed inside the hotel. There is an ATM in reception and direct access to Menara Mall, which closes at 10pm. Special thanks to Nabil at reception, who did an excellent job checking us in. He listened carefully to my needs and arranged early check-in to a ground-floor room close to the restaurants, spa, and gym, with a garden and pool view. Soundproofing from the pool area was good, although hallway noise does travel. The grounds are beautiful, but the ground-floor rooms occasionally had a sewage smell, which I’ve also experienced at other Moroccan hotels. We did experience a few issues with our first room (heating not working, leaking fridge, slow-draining sink). Without us needing to complain, Soukayna from guest relations came first thing the next morning and immediately arranged for us to move to a beautiful suite. This level of customer service, care, and attentiveness is exactly what you expect from a 5-star hotel. In the evening there’s live entertainment music in the bar and outside a light & water fountain display. The suite was stunning—very spacious, with a separate living area, two balconies, lots of storage, mini fridge, large sofa, king-size bed, two TVs, kettle, coffee machine, safe, bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom had two sinks (standard rooms have one), plenty of toiletries (no washcloths), a large shower with both handheld and waterfall options, and excellent water pressure. There wasn’t much space to hang items, and there is a bidet hose beside the toilet. Thank you to the head cleaning lady for the final touches and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. I’d like to thank all the staff for providing us with a wonderful stay. I love the Moroccan people—they are humble, kind, and always willing to help. Despite the construction, I achieved my goal of relaxation and a short break. This is now my new favourite hotel in Marrakesh, and I will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like part of the family. A huge thank you to Aziz at reception and El Houssaine, who were both absolutely exceptional. Their kindness, warmth and genuine care made our stay so special. They didn’t just provide great service, they made us feel like we were staying with family, and that’s something we’ll never forget. We came to celebrate our anniversary, and without us even asking, they surprised us by setting up a beautifully romantic dinner table. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our celebration incredibly special. It’s the little touches like this that create memories that last a lifetime. One evening, we got back from the Medina in the early hours after an adrenaline filled adventure exploring the bustling streets and markets. We mentioned that a nice cup of tea and some biscuits would be perfect to help us unwind, and by the time we arrived back, Aziz already had everything waiting for us with a smile. It was such a simple but incredibly thoughtful gesture that perfectly sums up the level of hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. A special thank you also goes to Yousara, for her warm greetings every single morning. The breakfasts were fresh, delicious and prepared with so much care. Starting each day with wonderful food made every morning something to look forward to. Thank you as well to another wonderful Aziz (who served us in the restaurant). Every day he looked after us so well, and when he realised our phone charger wasn’t working, he kindly lent us his own charger without us even having to ask again. That level of kindness and generosity says everything about the people who work here. And to the wonderful gentleman who welcomed us each morning at breakfast with a big smile and great energy, you made every breakfast feel special and set the tone for the day. We never forgot your warm welcome. Thank you for always making us feel so at home. The lunch and dinner deserves a special mention too. The chef is simply outstanding! Every meal was fresh, beautifully prepared and full of flavour. Honestly, the food here was far better than what we had at several of the rooftop restaurants in the Medina. We’re already missing every meal! The rooftop is something truly magical. Watching the sun set with the Atlas Mountains stretching out on one side, while the moon slowly rose above them as the sun disappeared on the opposite horizon, was breathtaking. No words, and certainly no photographs, can do that view justice. It’s something you simply have to experience for yourself. The hotel itself has everything you could want, stunning views, wonderfully comfortable beds, peaceful surroundings and an atmosphere that instantly helps you relax. It truly felt like a home away from home. To Aziz, El Houssaine and the entire team, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You didn’t just make our anniversary special, you made our whole trip unforgettable. Your kindness, professionalism and genuine hospitality are what make this place so unique, and you are all a huge credit to the hotel. This wasn’t just a hotel stay, it was an experience we’ll treasure forever. We already miss everyone and can’t wait to return. In fact, we’re already looking at booking our next trip, and this time we’ll be bringing our friends and family so they can experience this incredible place and meet the amazing people who made our stay so memorable. 非常值得的酒店，可以説是整個摩洛哥之行的高光時刻，每個房間都是一個獨立的Riad 庭院，服務親切但不過分熱情，除了餐食一般，環境可以説是無可挑剔。馬拉喀什其實整體都比較臟亂差，酒店內和酒店外可以説是兩個世界，如果下次再來馬拉喀什，仍舊考慮住在這裏！

My stay at Riad Belikoss was OK, but not totally satisfying. The staff is friendly, the check in was OK. The guys at the reception (Larbi) and the boys at breakfast (rooftop) were very friendly. But the welcome drink (mint tea) was not hot. Hmmm. The room itself was not that bad, but for the price paid, the cleanliness was doubtable (see photos). Hopefully this can be cleaned better in the future if the management reads this. The breakfast was reasonable, with Orange juice, an omelette, a few pieces of fruit, a Moroccan pancake (msemmen) with chocopaste, honey and jam. I missed 2 things: yoghurt and Amlou (Moroccon peanut butter). This should be improved. And very important: my coffee was cold! They serve you black coffee in a small thermos can, but still it wasn't hot! Coffee should be really hot. Also, they served me back coffee only, and after asking they provided milk. It should be there in the first place. No salt and pepper on the table for the eggs. The amount of bread served at breakfast was small. Not too bad, but there are things to be improved. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was like 'where is the pool'? Is this it? Can't really call it a pool. Positives: The Air-conditioning was good. Room design and Riad decorations are nice. Room door (see picture) is old and green with mold. Should be replaced urgently. Curtains are not blackout, you will still have light coming in the room. Room is not sound proof but at night it was quiet There are only windows facing the inside of the building, no outside-windows, so no fresh air coming in, causing a lack of oxygen at night. If you get a very cheap room price (like less than 20 euros) it's acceptable, it's too much for this Riad. Conclusion: it's a beautiful Riad, but there are things to be improved. But Larbi is great, thank you my friend.

The location is tolerable, the service is good, only the administrator tried to impose expensive tours, it's better to book them yourself on booking and not listen to them. There were not enough hooks in the bathtub for hangers. Breakfast is delicious and wonderful

I booked this hotel especially as a keen fitness enthusiast, I liked the photos of the gym on the trip.com site and wanted to keep up with my running and weight training. On arrival I was told there hadn’t been a gym there for a long time (years). This wasn’t a good start. The receptionists change often at the hotel and they make a big difference when we needed help. A few of the receptionists spoke excellent English and were so helpful. For example, a tour bus didn’t arrive one morning and the receptionist phoned the tour operator and was really helpful. I wish they had all spoken good English as it was quite stressful at times to understand them and versa versa. The rooms are in need of some TLC and an upgrade. Considering the entrance of the hotel looks so nice, the rooms are quite dismal. However, there was hot water for showers and the rooms were mostly cleaned each day. The breakfast was great with lots of choice and western options as well as Moroccan offerings. The chefs make omelette to request and another lady made delicious flat bread fresh in the morning. The photo is a view from our room. The staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming which we found is typical of Moroccan people, genuinely nice people overall.

Stayed at Riad Mama for 5 days and 4 nights, and it was an unforgettable experience. The riad itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated, but what truly made the stay exceptional were the people and their outstanding service. Dunya went above and beyond, helping me with my large luggage to the lobby and keeping my room spotless at all times. Farid prepared Moroccan tea for me on my first night on the rooftop and generously shared great restaurant recommendations. Nour, the director, and her sister greeted me with warm smiles every time they saw me and provided truly fantastic service. They offered warm, genuine hospitality and consistently went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. I genuinely felt like a welcomed guest rather than a tourist. When I unfortunately had food poisoning on my second day and didn’t leave my room at all, they noticed and checked on me to make sure I was okay. That level of care meant so much to me. Lastly, the riad itself is literally just 2–4 minutes away from Jemaa el-Fnaa and the Medina, which made getting around incredibly easy. I would definitely come back again without hesitation. Thank you Riad Mama! I can’t recommend Riad Mama enough this is hospitality at its finest. The rooftop view facing Koutoubia mosque.

The location was 15 minutes walk from Marrakesh station, and 10 minutes drive from most locations like the market (medina), the food was amazing, the staff were also nice, with good tea being served at the reception
