"Very comfortable stay at Mercure Berau. The room was clean, spacious and modern, with a comfortable bed and well-maintained bathroom. The hotel facilities were good, especially the swimming pool, and the overall environment felt new and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. Location was convenient for our short stay in Berau. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable experience. Would stay here again when visiting Berau."

"A big modern hotel in Samarinda. The location is a bit far from the city centre (20 mins driving while the traffic low and 30-35 mins in the rush hour). Although it’s located just above the Big Mall, the hotel has poor accessibility, especially for pedestrians and online food couriers because they have to go through the car ramp to get into the hotel’s front door! The room is modern, clean, and have great amenities. But, the noise from outside the room could be heard easily since it has poor soundproofing. When i checked in, it took more than one hour since i have to lined up into the queue and the process itself took a long time. It was the longest time i spend for check in! The queue is only five person in front of me and they opened all the check in counters."

Check in and check out was seamless. Breakfast was bit hectic with nobody show us where to seat so we had to wander around. The variety of breakfast was OK, their tempe goreng surprisingly was the best in my pov. Room was basic, small bed compared to other hotels with the same price, no in-room minibar.

Great location for business trips, very strategic and easy to access. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for resting after meetings. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Amenities were sufficient and everything worked well. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay for business travelers. Would definitely consider staying here again.

A big modern hotel in Samarinda. The location is a bit far from the city centre (20 mins driving while the traffic low and 30-35 mins in the rush hour). Although it’s located just above the Big Mall, the hotel has poor accessibility, especially for pedestrians and online food couriers because they have to go through the car ramp to get into the hotel’s front door! The room is modern, clean, and have great amenities. But, the noise from outside the room could be heard easily since it has poor soundproofing. When i checked in, it took more than one hour since i have to lined up into the queue and the process itself took a long time. It was the longest time i spend for check in! The queue is only five person in front of me and they opened all the check in counters.

Book the location because of the location, next to mall and use the gym. Facilities provided are all there, nothing to pick on. Especially love the gym location. the breakfast is great, love the coffee and tea brew in the 'sock'. Good selections. Staffs in front desk to fnb, etc are polite and kind. Room is of decent size, basic for the price paid. It is clean in general. The toilet needs serious renovation. Taps, showers are OLD, accumulated rust, layers of molds at back of sink. The shower walls are all dirty between grout lines. It is clearly years of accumulated dirt and moisture that cannot be removed anymore. It needs serious revamp. I should have taken pictures of the shower, afraid I didn't think of it.

pertama dapat kamar ada kecoa, bau dan super lembab😢 padahal dah 2x nginap disini dpt unit yg aman tapi minta ganti resepsionis dan untungnya bisa diganti terus kamar yg sudah di ganti bermasalah di ac kamarnya yang ga dingin sama sekali😢😔 tapi untungnya lokasi apartemen strategis jadi mudah kalau mau kemana mana

This is my second time staying here, and once again, I had a pleasant experience. The room and bathroom were clean, and the facilities were excellent. The breakfast offered a good variety of food, though I hope to see improvements in flavor in the future. Additionally, I noticed that some of the beds are a bit worn and no longer as firm as they should be—hopefully, this can be addressed. Overall, it's still a great place to stay
