Really lovely stay at the Malmaison for a few days. The location is excellent for a Birmingham trip, great cafes, restaurants and local sites all in walking distance. Birmingham New Street station is a very short walk. We used the car park for one day when we hired a car, if you prebook it with the hotel discount it’s £20 for 24 hours. I can highly recommend Digbeth for some quirky places to eat, the jewellery quarter is lovely for a walk around too.

Curtains were undersized for the room so was woken up at around 05:00 by daylight light coming through did complain the night before and in the morning was informed that someone would come up to have a look but no body turned up

Booked here through trip.com for twin room. Arrived at hotel who said been booked as king room. Were very helpful and changed room and put single bed in with double as no twins left. Receptionist stated frequently have this issue with agents booking hotel.
Issue resolved easily. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean, beds comfy. Great location for NEC, BP PULSE LIVE AND AIRPORT.

We had a wonderful stay at Fairlawn Hotel. The Spa facilities was great and staff were nice. Would recommend!

Overall good, the room looks a bit dated and the AC was not working so had a warm evening. The shower took about 5 mins to work but overall good for the money.

Another fantastic stay at the Hyatt Birmingham. The service from all of the staff was exemplary, kudos to the restaurant manager at breakfast who always ensures his team delivers the very best. This is the only hotel to stay at in Birmingham

ผผู้เข้าพักAll staff were excellent always very helpful, facilities need refreshing hotel needs sprucing up, gym equipment tired and ripped Pool small.
Chairs in the bar area either dirty or broken, very busy hotel trying to be too many things to too many people. Tried to book Spa on Saturday or Sunday both full.
Breakfast basic to say the least.
It was a shame, as once again the staff made our stay.

ผผู้เข้าพักLovely hotel in an amazing location ruined by ‘sauna like’ hotel room, due to broken air con (which apparently had been broken for several months). Disappointing that we weren’t told in advance of this, then we would have had the choice to book another hotel. When we complained shortly after arrival we were told a maintenance guy would come up and fix it. He fiddled with the air con settings and we were told that it had been reset and would work in an hour. We went for a walk and came back to a just as hot room. When we questioned the reception staff they said the hotel was fully booked and we couldn’t change rooms, and that we weren’t the only people having this problem. I think this was a lie as the hotel seemed quiet, why not be honest? What I didn’t understand was how come there was air con in reception but not in the hotel rooms?
The restaurant at breakfast was empty, but the food was lovely and the staff were really helpful.
Shame as there is so much potential for this hotel, but I won’t be staying there again until the hotel owners make some changes and put the customers first.
