The hotel is an incredible building which must take some maintenance. We booked a double room for one night and arrived at lunchtime with the intention of sightseeing in bath for a couple of days. The hotel was happy for us to park all day both days which was great. The check in process (after 3pm) was very easy and we had a very clean room with plenty of towels, 2 robes and slippers for the spa/pool. The double room had a king size bed which was very comfortable. The hotel pool was crowded and looking a little tired but was as expected. The outside heated pool was very nice and relaxing. We didn’t have any spa treatments or use the gym but both looked well kept and the gym had good modern equipment. We didn’t eat in the restaurant preferring to find a restaurant in bath itself. Breakfast was a bit of a chaotic affair with several hotel staff doing various jobs with no apparent coordination. The wait for a table, then coffee was long and then we had to wait again to order breakfast. The whole process of breakfast took well over an hour which is poor. It was clear that there was no clear process as some tables were getting their cooked breakfast before us even though we were taken to our table 30 mins before them. The little waiter man with his paper pad was a bit useless. When the ‘full English’ breakfast came it was a small plate of well cooked food but not really as described in the menu. In terms of portion size it was more like a kids breakfast. We weren’t served any toast either and had to ask for it unlike other tables who received it with their drinks order which seemed a bit weird. The continental buffet was a bit scarce with no bowls or spoons so we had to use our fruit juice glasses for the yogurt and fruit. The whole thing could be improved with a breakfast buffet under a hot plate if they haven’t got enough staff to serve it.

We booked 2 nights for a relaxing spa weekend. Based on it being a spa hotel. We planned on staying in the hotel for the whole weekend.  When we arrived we were told there was no restaurant or bar we can use as it’s only used for events.  We then had some lunch in the spa cafe. Food was ok. Service was terrible.  We then went to the room as we were able to check in. The cleaner was still there. Very apologetic extremely polite and lovely. The room was absolutely wonderful. Large bedroom bathroom and living room.  We went out and found a pub for food. When we returned to relax in the room we found the party was directly below us and in full swing. Very loud and noisy and the smoking area was right outside our window. We called reception but they were fully booked. Glad to say it all stopped at midnight.  We went down to breakfast at 9.30. Not much left and the full breakfast was cold. When we questioned it we were just told”well it has been there since 7” it had just sat on the side in silver trays for 2.5 hours, no heat or option to reheat. It wasn’t edible.  We skipped breakfast that we paid for on the second day.  We then thought we would spend some time in the spa. Ha! Well the pool is small, no where to relax just a couple of plastic chairs, not a spa at all. It had a very small sauna and steam room. The jacuzzi didn’t work it was just a pool of cloudy water with a few bubbles.  Would not recommend. Seems it used to be and could be a wonderful place to be but has been taken over and lost its sole. Such a shame as the building and grounds are wonderful.  I have to add the cleaning staff and lady on reception were wonderful, welcoming and friendly.

This is a bit out of the way but OK if you are touring the area. A rather faded Edwardian large hotel that is in need of a bit of renovation and redecoration to bring it up to standard. Our room was a bit small and showing its age. The staff were friendly

ฉันไม่มีคำพูดใดๆ ที่จะบรรยายความรู้สึกที่ได้รับจากการเข้าพักที่นี่ได้เลย ฉันรู้สึกเหมือนเป็นราชา พนักงานยอดเยี่ยม ความสะอาดน่าทึ่ง กลิ่นของผ้าปูที่นอน โอ้พระเจ้า… และที่นอน… ว้าว ฉันอยากอยู่ที่นี่ตลอดไปเลย ฮ่าๆๆ สปาเยี่ยมมาก ฉันเดินทางท่องเที่ยวในสหราชอาณาจักรมาหนึ่งเดือนแล้ว การพักผ่อนที่นี่ช่างวิเศษจริงๆ ห้องพักสะอาดเอี่ยมและมีกลิ่นหอม! ขอบคุณมาก Apex คุณได้ลูกค้าประจำเพิ่มอีกคนแล้ว ฉันอยากไปโรงแรมอื่นๆ ในเครือทั้งหมดเลย 🥰♥️

ห้องพักตึกหลักสวยมาก วิวหายาก ห้องอาหารมีพนักงานไม่เพียงพอ อาหารเช้ารอนานเกินไป ถ้าไม่เร่งรีบ เริ่มต้นชั่วโมง มาร์ตินที่เจ้าหน้าที่อํานวยความสะดวกดีมากและช่วยเราหาร้านอาหารเพราะส่วนใหญ่พักผ่อนในวันหยุดสุดสัปดาห์ และกลัวว่าเราจะไม่รู้จักถนนบนภูเขาของบาส เขาจึงขับรถพาเราไปที่นั่นเป็นพิเศษ ร้านอาหารสองร้านที่เขาแนะนํานั้นอร่อยและน่าเชื่อถือ

ฉันอยากจะขอบคุณพนักงานสําหรับทุกสิ่งที่พวกเขาทําเพื่อฉันและภรรยาของฉันหลังจากที่ฉันโกรธความผิดพลาดที่น่ากลัวซึ่งน่าอายที่จะเข้าไปใน... ทั้งหมดที่ฉันสามารถพูดได้คือพวกเขาทําให้แน่ใจว่าฉันจะไม่ผิดหวังและเวลาถูกทําลายโดยขึ้นไปด้านบนและ เกินกว่าทุกสิ่งที่พวกเขาต้องทําเพื่อให้การเข้าพักของฉันสวยงามหลังจากข้อผิดพลาดของฉัน ...... อาหารก็น่ารักและทุกอย่างก็เหมือนกับในภาพ ถ้าไม่มีอะไรให้ดูดีกว่านี้ด้วยตัวเอง ถ้าคุณไปข้างหน้าและจองที่พัก .......

เหมาะสำหรับการพักผ่อน สถานที่ในโรงแรมนี้ดีมาก เจ้าหน้าที่ยินดีช่วยเหลือเป็นอย่างยิ่ง ห้องพักหรูหรามาก มีห้องขนาดใหญ่และสะดวกสบาย ครั้งหน้าเราจะอยู่ที่นี่แน่นอน

Fabulous hotel wonderful staff and great food breakfast was lovely very generous and a very good choice on the menu the service is exceptional and the spa is perfect for needs definitely would return here without hesitation 10 out of 10
