Best hotel since we’ve traveled over the holidays. This was a good midway stop for us to take a rest before heading home. Staff was super nice, breakfast was included even if they originally said it wasn’t, parking was free/available (no extra surcharge), hotel was super clean and layout was nice, they provide Starbucks coffee in your room (for those coffee lovers) and they have a good coffee machine as complimentary that you can grab at anytime. They have a vending machine for you to grab any snacks if needed on your floor. The price was worth it. I would 100% stay here again! Springfield also introduced me to a few fun activities around the area as well so it’s definitely a place to go visit and if so I recommend this hotel!
If you are looking for perfection, this is as close as you're going to get for the money. Clean rooms, clean beds, and beyond friendly staff. Vick is the nicest and most helpful front desk person I've met. It's quiet, and after 10pm even their front door is locked. Breakfast is from 6-9 on weekdays and 7-10 on weekends. Good choices for breakfast from ceral to bagels to biscuits n gravy. Light stuff too, like fruit and yogurt. The dining area is spotless. They have the typical crazy design carpet in the hallways. Vending on every floor. Very nice place! Will definitely be back!
I came here for a two days business trip. The location is super convenient for me as it was one block away from my office.
Since I went there for business, all i cared about is a clean room and a good shower. The water level in the shower was definitely strong.
The breakfast buffet was good. They have coffee, oatmeal, corn hash, bacon, bread, fruits etc... The staff are very friendly and my whole experience was great.
We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. All of the staff were incredibly friendly. I especially appreciated Patty making lots of delicious crispy bacon and going above and beyond brightening our mornings. Patty made sure the buffet was well stocked and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Paige at the front desk was incredibly helpful when we were attempting to extend our stay and help that process to go smoothly. Dionne made sure our stay went smoothly.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Love the location of the hotel and the room was very nice and cozy too.

NnambismeriFriendly and helpful front desk. Comfortable room on top floor. Large comfortable shared lounge and games area if wanted for a group. Convenient location to universities and train station or town amenities by car or walking. Unfortunately, there is no on-site parking, but you can get advice for where in the city to park.
ผผู้เข้าพักFinding and getting into the motel is fairly easy as it is on Hwy 76. The main lobby is very clean and welcoming as are the staff. I did note that they had a No vacancy sign taped to the door, so that let me know they were a popular spot on the *****. We got there a little early, and there wasnt a guarantee that our room would be ready but the lady was very nice and was able to get us in without an issue. Process was quick and easy and we were assigned room 1121, ground floor, furthest away from the main road, on the backside of the building. We parked, used the key easily (just tap and go), and walked in. The smell made it obvious to us that there had been a major flood or leak because it reeked of attempts to cover the smell of mold and mildew. We could see water damage everywhere and even the sheets on the bed were damp due to excessive moisture in the air. We have worked restoration from flooding and could distinctly smell something reminiscent of an ozone machine. The air unit was black and broken in pieces, but it still worked, for which we were grateful. The carpets were dirty and in a serious need to be cleaned although by the door had the worst of it. The silicone in the bathroom is seriously moldy and, at best, needs to be replaced and at worst scrubbed with a mildew cleaner like Lysol mold and mildew. The in room fridge had serious condensation on the inside so we figured that it had been giving them issues. It wasn't until the next morning that we noticed the patch job in the ceiling over by the door that it occurred to us that that is the bathroom of the floor above us and that there was a major leak that way. Overall, I have paid less for better rooms and if there had been an option, I would have asked for a different room. If not for the fact that we knew we would not be getting a refund, we probably would have left and went somewhere else. The staff were wonderful to interact with, but the room itself was not worth the visit. Its a flip coin or maybe a desperate act that will get us to book there again. Oh! Major gap in the door and the glass in the window to the room was cracked! Shower head was gross and growing stuff too.

I did have a mishap in that housekeeping cleaned the room but didn't make the beds. I had to leave to get to my performance venue about an hour after checking in, so I went to tell the front desk. The receptionist was very accommodating in getting someone up to my room ASAP, and they were made when I later returned. Thanks!
Also, I think one of the elevators isn't working, so you might have to wait a little longer. Had I stayed longer, I would have found the stairs.

I traveled to Festus for a car show and needed a budget-friendly hotel near local amenities. While this property met that basic requirement, nearly every other aspect of my stay was a disappointment—and at times, unacceptable.
To start, the hotel was unbearably hot inside. There was no functioning indoor air conditioning, and the common areas remained well above 80 degrees throughout my stay. Check-in was quick, but the front desk staff seemed unfamiliar with the facility—unable to even direct me to the pool, which I never located due to the complete lack of signage.
The complimentary breakfast was, frankly, insulting. The food options were minimal and unappetizing—particularly the English muffins, which were so hard they could double as hockey pucks. The oppressive heat made it nearly impossible to sit and eat in the dining area anyway.
My room, while clean, was far from comfortable. The mattress was extremely hard—comparable to sleeping on bare concrete—and the cramped toilet and shower area offered no room to move. Several cockroaches were spotted both in my room and in common areas, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance.
While I understand the hotel is currently under construction and the staff I interacted with were courteous, that alone cannot excuse the overall experience. The current conditions are simply not acceptable for paying guests.
I had high hopes for this location but left deeply disappointed. Unless you have absolutely no other options within your budget, or until after renovations are fully completed (well beyond 2025), I strongly advise against staying here. I will not be returning.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe seriously loved this place!! Other than the fact it just LOOKED like a cool place to stay from the pics, it actually was a really cool place to stay. My 10 and 14yr olds, my husband and I stayed for this visit. Husbands aren't that cool so he didn't really care lol ;). But me and my 2 girls absolutely loved riding in the elevator. You can pay more for a higher room and more for a room with an indoor balcony. We did neither but were lucky enough to get up on the 4th floor. The elevator is activated with your room key, and you can only go on the floor your room is, the lower level with the pool and dining and the main level (entrance), so no fun rides to the top lol. The room was clean and spacious. It didn't smell. The beds seemed clean as well as the bathroom. We LOVED the atrium feature, getting up at 6am to swim while being able to look at the sunrise and the clouds was so much fun. My girls and I decided when we come back to the area that we want to stay here EVERY TIME lol. Complaints are minimal and they are made up by how much we enjoyed the hotel.
Didn't care for having to pay to park at the hotel. There are free spots but that is very limited.
The water looked kinda cloudy... Which made me feel a little weird, but we got in anyways and had a blast. The floor of the pool is very...scratchy and easy to cut yourself on. My daughter scaped her elbow on it and when she got out it started bleeding a little. They need to refinish the lining of the pool for sure. However, the pool was heated and we appreciated that.

Ggmartin212This is a very good location for downtown K.C. The hotel lobby very nice. We ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and the food and service were very good. The only complaint here was that the attached bar was very loud and the restaurant ambiance could be redesigned to be more comfortable and intimate. There was a group of about eight people at a large table near us that were having load discussion that was distracting for us but dealt with it.
The room was small but the renovation was very nice, bathroom was big with a nice tub/shower that my wife enjoyed a epsom salt soak. My only complaints are that there is no fridge or microwave to heat coffee. Also, they use the old style coffee two cup coffee maker as most hotels have now gone to keurigs. The hallway noise is very noticeable and the room-to-room noise is as well. We could literally hear the conversation in the next room. One thing that I really dislike is the lack of a ”do not disturb” card for the door and as expected, the housekeeper was knocking on the door at 9:00 a.m. to clean the room even though checkout is at noon! I'm sure there are much better and newer hotels but if you are looking for a reasonable place to stay in the heart of downtown K.C. this is a good choice.
